2007 RAMBLINGS

MY STREAM OF THIS SHOW IS WORKING. AND WORKING WELL. ACCESS IT HERE. AND READ MORE ABOUT IT HERE. IT's THE BEST WAY TO HEAR THE PROGRAM!

LISTEN TO ME ON XM? NOTE: NO CHANGES TO THE LIVE SHOW. WE'RE STILL ON XM 165 WEEKNIGHTS FROM 10P-1A ET (7-10PM PT). BUT THE REPLAYS HAVE MOVED. NOW WE'RE ON ALL NIGHT 7 NIGHTS A WEEK ON XM 158. THANKS FOR LISTENING WHEREVER YOU HEAR ME.

As you know, if you listen regularly to the show, I'm a big time Ron Paul supporter. I've endorsed him as the only Republican or Democrat worthy of your vote. A lot of you have asked why we haven't had him on. It isn't for lack of trying. But we did get a hold of him last year. If you'd like to hear the hour we spent with him, click here.

DECEMBER 2007

SUNDAY DECEMBER 23, 2007 10P-2A (PT) I will be hosting Coast to Coast tonight. I'm not entirely sure how, as the battle between Rollye and the flu continues. I do believe I've got a handle on it, though not nearly as much of one as I had hoped. But never mind that, there are things to discuss, and I'm gonna discuss them-- with you.

We're talking about Near Death Experiences tonight-- particularly in the blind. Ask any blind person you know-- and by the way, if you can see, there's a good bet that's no one-- which is part of the problem, but I digress.... ask any blind person about the biggest obstacle they face, and I can almost bet the answer will be the perceptions of the sighted. No group has ever been more minimized. Blind people run the full gamut of intellectual abilities as do the sighted, yet they are woefully underemployed, undervalued and, frankly, even feared, by people seemingly without vision difficulties. It seems those who can see, truly don't see.

Radio is a lifeline for many blind listeners, and I consider it a privilege to be in a position to highlight this issue so that hopefully more sighted folks will start to really see, but tonight we'll go even further. The blind community is uniquely in a position to validate a major facet of NDEs. If they, particularly those blind from birth, suddenly are able to see visually during an NDE, that's meaningful on several levels (not to mention highly confusing to people have never visually processed anything). We'll talk to Vicki Noratuk about what happened to her, and then we'll spend the evening with Yolaine Stout, the president of IANDS, the International Association for Near Death Studies.

We'll also be doing something a bit different musically. All our outro bumpers tonight will feature Charlie Byrd. To back up, the listener who suggested we talk about tonight's topic is Kimberly from Kansas City. Great idea! She also wondered if I'd heard any of Charlie Byrd's music. Had to laugh at that as I think I have every album he's done, at least on Columbia. My favorites are the Brazilian themed gems, as you might expect if you know that Antonio Carlos Jobim is hands down my all time favorite composer. That may come as a shock to those you know who know I'm a firm devotee of obscure R&B, decidedly American soul-- but the soul of Samba is equally enticing though not generally as plentiful.

Charlie's Brazilian stuff is nicely done-- Tommy Newsome arranged most of it, and Teo Macero produced it, but what makes it alluring to me is the intimacy of Charlie's guitar work, and his ability bring forth his relationship with his instrument in the same powerfully subtle way that Jobim's melodies captured me many years ago. To compliment the outros, I've got a number of different intros by Brazilian composers and performers that I think you'll also like.

Sorry to say, Charlie Byrd left us far too soon, but if you like his music, note that his brother Joe, the bassist on a lot of it, is very much with us, and performing. Check out his site at www.joebyrdjazz.com! Talk to you tonight!

FRIDAY DECEMBER 21, 2007 7:00 PM (PT) A replay of Mary Ann Ghostbuster while I continue to lose my battle with the flu. She's delightful and accurate and her website is here.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 20, 2007 5:20 PM (PT) Tonight's show will be a replay of last night. You know, if you've been listening to me for any length of time about my pledge never to take time off between Thanksgiving and New Year's day, as I preside over "The Rollye James I Hate The Holidays club, weekngihts 7-10 PT. If you are in the ho-ho-humbug crowd, then you understand first hand that the worst thing about holiday scheduling is losing your favorite radio and tv shows to reruns and heaven only knows what else. So my pledge is to provide consistency through these annually trying times. And until an hour a go I was hell-bent to keep that pledge. Buy my temperature is now over 103, I can't stop hacking or shaking and I seem to fall over when I try to sit up. The first plan was to do this show from my bed (possible) but after Jon heard me try to talk he told me that getting on the air in this shape would be listener-torture. I've relunctantly agreed. If you didn't hear last night's show, this is actually a good thing, as Tom Cryer is worth hearing. If you did, my apologies and happy channel surfing. I have every expectation of being with you tomorrow night. But of course, I had every expectation of being with you tonight.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 19, 2007 12:30 AM (PT) Ron paul likens income tax protesters to historical luminaries from Martin Luther King to our founding fathers. Among those would have to be Tom Cryer. Tom is a lawyer, a scholar and an activist. His years of study proved to him the folly of our alleged income tax system. But before you decide not to pay taxes, there are several things you should hear-- beyond you might go to jail. Taking responsibility for everything from learning the specifics to living with the outcome of your actions is a must. Headlines say Tom defeated the IRS. Find out what he defeated, what may come, and why some win and others lose when Tom joins me tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. And check out TruthAttack as well as LieFreeZone.

Quiz tonight-- but don't worry about having to answer aloud. The phone hybrid remains zapped. And my fever looks more like a dial position-- 102.1 but, my promise to be live every weeknight until after the new year for those of you firmly in 'The Rollye James I Hate The Holidays Club', remains unchallenged. You may not want to hear me in this shape, but I promise to be there if you do.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 18, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) All of the five voting machine types in Ohio are so easy to change, that even the secretary of state is shocked. You can pick the locks, access the memory cars an use handheld devices to create false results. You can install malignant software and you don't have to be all that computer savvy to do it. One of the makers of these machines insists that the 2008 models don't have these problems. Problem is, we won't know until it's too late. But all of this may be very good news. Why? Because the problems are so over the top, Ohio and other states are planning to scrap the machines entirely. Read about it here.

You may also want to check out a real outrage for homeschoolers. School loses your paperwork, lose your kids if they're not enrolled by morning. That's here.

And don't forget, we're coming to the end of our PajamaGram and Vermont Teddy Bear contests. Here's the deal:

To win a PajamaGram, call during the show at 888-876-5593 and tell us about your strangest holiday tradition. You could have created it, participated in it or just happened upon it . Best stories win. But if you want to guarantee a great gift for the holidays which will make it seem like you went to great lengths to get it, just go to PajamaGram.com and tell them Rollye sent you --it's more than a present, it's a presentation.

To win a Vermont Teddy Bear, just tell us who has been especially naughty or nice this year. Can be to you, or to the country or any where in between. Call us on that one too at 888-876-5593, and order them for everyone on your list at VermontTeddyBear.com and tell them Rollye sent you. It's as easy to order as flowers, costs about as much-- but where else can you get a gift with full life insurance and health insurance, and one that's made right here in America. Plus they're different-- from each other and from any other gift. I've got a whole collection!

FRIDAY DECEMBER 14, 2007 10:30 PM (PT) Fun with trivia tonight. In case you missed it, here are the answers:

General Grant claimed his most effective secret agent during the war was a woman. He chose her because of this quality. What quality? She was crazy. (Elizabeth Van Lew was rated by General Grant as his most efficient secret agent during the US Civil War. Known as "Crazy Bet", this supposedly demented daughter of a Richmond merchant passed information to Union commanders and arranged daring prison escapes for Union soldiers, hiding the fugitives in a secret room in her mansion overlooking the James River.)

Scientists estimate that they could fill a 1,000 volume encyclopedia with this, if it could be translated into English. What? The coded instructions in the DNA of a single human cell.

McDonalds' 'You Deserve A Break Today" was the most recognized television commercial jingle in 1999. What was #2? The US Army's "Be All That You Can Be". (Even so, it was announced it would soon be changed due to low recruitment numbers.)

American sculptor, Alexander Calder, rigged his front door of his apartment so that he could do what? Open the door from his bathtub. (I can't fathom why and it's not worth researching.)

Don't forget, December 16th is the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Time for another Tea Party, this time, for Ron Paul who is the only candidate with the spirit of our founding fathers. It's a one day donation drive, and you can find out more at TeaParty07.com. Ron's son, Dr. Rand Paul, by the way, will be speaking at the Tea Party this Sunday in Boston at Faneuil Hall. If you're in the neighborhood, please stop by. Talk to you Monday night-- hopefully with record breaking results from Sunday's drive.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 13, 2007 1:01 AM (PT) Think Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans? That was likely less of a factor than the result of long standing political corruption. You've heard all the stories about Louisiana politics-- that the term "crooked politician" is redundant, but in the case of the Levee Board, their flagrant disregard for the only thing they are really charged to do, became very deadly. Of course they're is a lot of blame to go around, and we'll go round and round with Republican insider Victor Bruno tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. My thanks to "Elwood" aka "The Flaming Liberal" for hooking me up with Bruno.... Did anybody say "hooking?!" Yes, you can be we'll be talking about Mr. Vitter too!

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 12, 2007 12:10 AM (PT) "Where's the fence?!" Think Clara Peller in the old Wendy's "Where's The Beef" commercials when you read that. Now stop laughing. Remember the Secure Fence Act of 2006? Now forget about it. All the funding and mandates to build that fence? There about to be removed forever. You usually think of pork stuck into unrelated bills. In this case, congress is stealthily removing a provision-- the one that secures our borders. Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Or read about it here.

But the invasion of illegals is not the only thing on my mind. Preserving the 2nd Amendment is probably my greatest concern. Without it, there are no others. Our right to bear arms helps us in the big picture against a totalitarian government, and in the personal fight of defending our lives.

Lots of shootings lately, and as usual, the fastest measurement of time is not the speed of light but rather then interval between a shooting and the call for gun control. But in every instance, John Lott's definitive work stands up-- more guns, less crime. I hold my breath at the thought of what the Supreme court will rule next year when they take up the issue of D.C.'s unconstitutional ban. And I'm always pleased when one of you takes the initiative to spread the word.

One such person is Pennsylvania small businessman Michael Ruoss. He has Country Craft and Flea Market in Avondale, does auto repair and manages to find time to fight for your gun rights. With no web experience, he's put up a site that you might want to investigate: www.parighttobeararms.com. Check out the story on the legislators who walked out of the house when they couldn't force gun control. They're not done trying-- neither is Gov. Rendell. Michael's trying to spread the word. Are you?

TUESDAY DECEMBER 11, 2007 2:00 AM (PT) Don't think immigration is a problem? in 1970 one out of 21 Americans was an immigrant. In 1980 it was one out of 16 from another country. In 1990 1 out of 13 was foreign born. Now? Well, using the most conservative estimates that grossly undercount illegals, we're at more than 1 out of 8. That's for all of America, Not just big cities, or southern states. All of the country-- New York City? Make it 1 out of 4. And we expect America as we know it to exist in the future? Fairy Tales tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

MONDAY DECEMBER 10, 2007 3:31 AM (PT) Every time the government says "It's for the children!" you know you're about to have something shoved down your throat you won't like. The latest is a bill that passed the house almost unanimously-- only Ron Paul and one other rep voted against it. Now it's in the senate sponsored by McCain and co-sponsored by Hillary and a few others. If it passes, forget all that free wifi access you've enjoyed. And as for your ISP, they'll be snooping and reporting, or else.. I Wait until you hear these details tonight at 10 ET/ 7 PT. The bill passed by the house is H.R. 3791, the companion version in the senate now is S.519. It's called the SAFE Act-- Securing Adolescents From Exploitation online act. And among other things, it requires service providers to log and monitor activity, forwarding suspicious results to the government. In other words, your ISP will become big brother or else. Oh, and those free wifi hot spots? Not worth the trouble, are they?

SUNDAY DECEMBER 9, 2007 10P-2A (PT) I'll be hosting Robert Gover, who is a fascinating character with life experience going back to the Beat generation of the '50s. He's an author of great acclaim (and many great authors have acclaimed that fact), but we'll home in on his astrological work. You gotta check out his book, "Time And Money" (for a great price click here). And even if you've never given astrology a thought, you'll want to hear what Robert has to say on the show about a variety of economic cycles, from the formation of the Federal Reserve to the current housing downturn. Check out his website here.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 7, 2007 11:10 PM (PT) It was great talking to Tommy James earlier tonight. Drop by his website at www.tommyjames.com! If you heard Thursday's show, you know we talked with Sofie. She's a Ron Paul supporter in Florida who was threatened for bringing out the truth of a straw poll which included such problems as voting machines that registered Ron Paul votes for Mitt Romney and multiple voting by Romney's supporters. See the video here. And regardless of which candidate you support, if the accuracy of the electronic voting machines concerns you at all (and it should) click here and get involved. Thanks!

So you're here because you want to know the trivia results from earlier tonight:

Drinking this was considered a must at fashionable social events in the 17th century. Drinking what? Chocolate-- with milk, wine or beer!

In Sweden, when leaving someone's home it is bad manner to do this. Do what? Put your coat on before you get to the doorway to step outside. (Funny YouTube video on that too. Click here.)

In 1978, the first shipment of Coca Cola went to China. But they didn't call it Coca Cola. They used something that translates into what? (Not 'bite the wet tadpole'-- that was an error that happened later.): "Tastes Good, Tastes Happy".

In a 1991 Esquire article, a former child actor said this: "Most child actors were lucky enough to get the part in the first place. They cry and complaina that now that they are no longer little and cute, Hollywood has no use for them. What we often fail to appreciate is that being little and cute may have been our only skill. Who said it? Danny Bonadeuce of The Partridge Family who went on to say: "Now that we are not so little anymore, and certainly not as cute, some of us may have to face reality, stop whining and get real jobs."

Before the Chinese takeover of Tibet in 1952, 25 percent of all men there had this in common. What? They were monks.

This edible was created in 1916 by a Los Angeles noodlemaker. What? George Jung created the Fortune Cookie.

In 1935, this established product was advertised for the first time as being splinter free. What product? Toilet Paper.

We're still working on the General Grant question so tune in next Friday night to find out about that!

THURSDAY DECEMBER 6, 2007 2:10 AM (PT) Let's say your an immigration officer and you're pretty disgusted that most of the illegals you've helped convict of hard crimes wind up with plea deals that are a slap on the wrist. Let's say the guy offering those pleas decides to run for governor-- on his tough stance on immigration. You'd probably speak out, right? You'd probably provide details to back up your story too. And when you did you'd be on leave without pay, facing jail time and bankruptcy. So political retaliation isn't real? The candidate won-- find out how the whistle-blower lost tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

We're telling the story of Cory Voorhis in Denver. Please check it out at www.corylegaldefense.com. Thanks. Oh and while you're checking' Daniel Essek is also displeased with a politician's stance on illegal immigration and a lot more, and so this commercial driver is doing something about it. He's running against Mitch McConnell in the Republican senatorial primary in Kentucky. Check out his website www.essek4senate.org.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 5, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) You've heard how Great Britain's socialized medicine is failing. How thousands have died in hospitals due to unsanitary conditions and overworked staff. So what are they doing? Training nurses. Not to combat the problems, those are swept aside. They're trained, at taxpayer expense to become familiar with the Islamic faith, and are required to stop all medical work five times a day to turn the beds of Muslim patients towards Mecca. When political correctness kills, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 4, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) Imagine heading a group that was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal terror case. What would you do? Maybe you'd clean house. You'd find out who was in your organization and should a terror connection exist, you'd remove them and publicly denounce them. That's not what this group has done. Their first line of defense? Lobby congress to be removed. Nevermind they're a non-profit with directors including a convicted terrorist, and many with ties to know terror groups. And they might be successful! Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

MONDAY DECEMBER 3, 2007 10:50 PM (PT) Hope you got to hear Jerry Corsi tonight. If not, it will replay as a stream until tomorrow's show (see info above for how to access that). But if you'd like to download it, here it from the beginning or don't get around to it tomorrow, go to www.mystreamingserver.com for a progressive download. I'll leave it up a while.

MONDAY DECEMBER 3, 2007 7:00 PM (PT) We're going to spend the evening talking to Dr. Jerome Corsi. If you don't have his book, you should. Here's a link to a good deal on it.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 2, 2007 12:10 AM (PT) To hear many politicians, the North American Union is some kooky conspiracy theory, easily dismissed. To hear the White House, all the plans are to increase our strength and sovereignty. Of course you don't near much from the White House which has been hiding the salient facts, nor do you hear from congress who shockingly in some cases don't know them. So how do we know what's going on? People like Jerome Corsi research it. If you think you know all about the NAU, you better hear the latest Monday night at 10 ET / 7 PT as Jerry joins me for the whole show. If you have any specific questions, now's the time to get them to me. (Email link is to your left. Click on "I Wanna Tell Her..")

NOVEMBER 2007

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 30, 2007 10:30 PM (PT) Trivia was a nice break from the usual political doldrums. Of course we'll be back on it Monday, but for now if you're here to see the answers:

This common ingredient was once a common snack food in early America. What? Bouillon Cubes (Primarily beef stock. Since the cakes didn't spoil, the were carried by trappers and hunter who nibbled on them throughout the 1700s.)

In 1979, the government allowed Pan Am to buy National Airlines but refused to allow the merger of these two carriers. Which ones? Continental and Western.

In 1979 Republic Airlines was formed out of what two carriers? North Central Airlines and Southern Airways.

In 17th and 18th century Europe, dogs were used to smuggle this. What? Lace. Europe was wild for it. Laces were seen as "better" if it came from Belgium or Venice. But to avoid tariffs in countries joined by land, a dog was wrapped in lace and then covered in fake fur. It would be released at the border, free to run to the other side undetected where it would be scooped up by the recipient. The only problem came when hounds with a mind of their own would run off.

The Emergency Housing Act of 1975 gave home buyers a tax credit. What else did it do to benefit the housing industry? $10 billion was provided to underwrite high interest rates so lenders could charge 7.5% and the government would pick up the difference between that and the prevailing rate.

Cinderella's slipper was not made of glass. A translation error led to the mistake. What was it made of? Fur. ("Verre" means glass, and "Vaire" in old French means fur. More comfortable anyway.) 1978 saw the vegetable wars.

Florida growers were outraged but lost. What was the issue? Mexico was dumping $200 million dollars of vegetables at below cost on the American market. A court found for Mexico but not before it agreed to sell the US natural gas at an artificially low price.

The Aztec Indians of Mexico believed this would protect them from physical harm. What? Turquoise.

This affects 1 in 11 people world wide, more women than men. What? Phobias. According to the Anxiety Disorders Association.

That leaves us with one open question, and if you listen next Friday you'll find out which one.

Now that our stream is accessible by virtually everyone, we're no longer putting up email questions. If you have a computer, you can hear the show. So please listen live to participate. If you'd just like to hear the show, remember it replays until the next live broadcast-- which means trivia is online all weekend long. Thanks.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 29, 2007 2:00 AM (PT) Everyone likes discounts. But how far would you go to save 10% on air travel? We're talking about a discount not available to the general public. And it's only a few clicks away online. There's just one catch. You'll have to proclaim you're gay-- which is fine if you are, but are you willing to be in a database of gay and lesbian flyers when you're not? That's the real question because you don't have to prove it. You just have to be willing to sign up on an airline web page targeting gay and lesbian travelers. Discrimination or demographics? Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2007 2:20 AM (PT) Congress is considering the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. Never mind how it sounds, what it does is track anyone who disagrees with the government. Don't think so?-- then look at the section which says it shall not be used disproportionately against any ethnicity. When you think of terrorism, doesn't one ethnicity come to mind? That's not the one they're concerned with. Oh they're also concerned not with what dissenters do-- what they think is good enough. Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read the bill here. Note the definitions, the internet concerns, the reliance on foreign government methodologies, and the section providing that it can not have a disproportionate impact on any one group, for openers. And then if you consider yourself a patriot, start to worry.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2007 12:15 AM (PT) You've probably long thought that colleges are giant halls of indoctrination, and with many courses, you'd be right. But the latest indoctrination play is occurring out side the classroom in the schools that require students to carry cell phones at all times. It's not so they can easily be reached, it's so they can easily be tracked. The schools boast of their ability to use the GPS feature to track students everywhere. Here's the worst part-- rather then being outraged, many students say it's a comfort. Big brother tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 26, 2007 3:15 AM (PT) Former Republican house leader Tom DeLay says Hillary will be the next president because the Republicans don't have a candidate who can beat her. Apparently he isn't reading the fine print of the latest Zogby poll. It's not their headline, but it's there nonetheless. Ron Paul can beat Hillary. Of course there's plenty of reason to believe the Republican leadership would rather have Hillary than Ron Paul. More evidence they're republicrats and demopublicans tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. See DeLay's comments here. And see Zogby's take here.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 24, 2007 1:30 AM (PT) It's the 4th Sunday of the month so you'll find me hosting Coast to Coast again tonight. (I handle the 2nd and 4th Sundays, in addition to my weeknight show.) It should be a good time as I've already got dozens of questions for my guest Barbara Lamb. Barbara is a marriage and family counselor who specializes in regression through hypnosis. And wouldn't you just know it? Back in 1991, someone remembered being abducted. By strangers from far away. Really far away. Since then Barbara has regressed over 1800 people who have recalled experiences with ETs. She's got a book coming out, "Alien Experiences", which you can read about here. Her previous book, "Crop Circles Revisited" is available by emailing her here. And while you're at it, here's a website about that, and another one about her professional practice here. That ought to keep you busy until 10 PM (PT) tonight when we next speak, so to speak. (My Coast to Coast appearances are not streamed (by me). I leave that to them and their handy streamlink membership. Check out their website here.

But maybe you're here because you want answers of another kind-- like the ones we revealed on Friday night trivia. Here you go:

Victorian publications never dared show this in any advertisement. What? Beds! When illustrations of a bedroom were required, the bed itself was hidden by curtains.

Which country has the highest per capita consumption of cereal in the world? Ireland.

In some tribes in Ethiopia, when a male dies his grave is marked with a number of stones. What does each depict? Every man the deceased killed.

29% of all food consumed in the US is what? Dairy.

By mid 1979, 11 states had legalized this. What? Marijuana, restricted to certain usage such as pain relief in cancer or glaucoma.

In the beginning, hippies were mostly middle-class adolescents or college drop outs who had withdrawn into their big city caves as a protest against their parents' worship of money and material possessions. But their proclivities for the bizarre brought them fame. But like the Beats of the previous generation, they fell pray to the pressures of blank. Fill in the blank. "commercialization". Hippie bands now traveled first c lass. Owners of hippie dance halls became wealthy. Some stayed hip only on weekends. There was as much talk about money on Haight Street as Wall Street.

In 1975 President Ford signed a bill intended to bail out an industry in trouble. What industry? The housing industry. The bill gave home purchasers a 5% tax credit of the home's price up to $2,000. It did something else too-- and if you want to see that question, click on "She Said What" to your left.

And don't forget, "The Rollye James I Hate The Holidays Club" is in full swing. If you're saying Ho Ho Hum (or worse) when everyone else can't fathom why you're not in the "spirit of the season", we've got a safe haven for you. And as one of the things that makes the holidays horrible for many is the disruption in their otherwise predictable entertainment sources, I pledge to be with you every weeknight non stop until January 2nd when it will be safe to come out again. (And probably after that too-- but the point is, if a holiday falls on a weekday, I'll be on the air live. Join me when the family, or lack of it, drives you crazy.)

THANKSGIVING 2007 11:00 PM (PT) Missing tonight's show may have been something for which to give thanks-- unless you really anted to hear the World's Worst Hit Records of 2007. Should that be the case and should you have been unavoidably away from the radio, here's the tally:

1 Tiptoe Thru The Tulips – Tiny Tim 1968 #17
2 Achy Breaky Heart – Billy Ray Cyrus 1992 #1
3 MacArthur Park – Richard Harris 1968 #2
4 Lovin’ You – Minnie Riperton 1975 #1
5 Hey Jude - Beatles 1968 #1
6 Brand New Key – Melanie 1971 #1
7 You Light Up My Life - Debby Boone 1977 #10
8 Honey – Bobby Goldsboro 1968 #1
9 Don’t Worry Be Happy – Bobby McFerrin 1988 #1
10 Muscrat Love – Captain & Tennille 1976 #4

Runners Up:

My Ding A Ling - Chuck Berry 1972 #1
Yummy Yummy Yummy - Ohio Express 1968 #4
Purple People Eater - Sheb Wooley 1958 #1
Rico Suave - Gerardo (Mejia) 1991 #7
Macarena - Los Del Rio 1995 #1
Swingin' - John Anderson 1983 #1

Votes spanned the 1920s through this decade. Earliest was 1927 Ernest Hare & Billy Jones (The Happiness Boys) with "I've Never Seen A Straight Banana" and latest was 2004 Prince with "Call My Name". We were devoid of disco-- and with one exception a vote for Please Don't Stand There- Patty Duke, devoid of child stars.

I originally thought that with two exceptions of several votes for "I Want My Baby Back" and "Last Kiss" we were also devoid of death, but then I realized that "Honey" was not only deadly to hear, but squarely in the demise category. I guess because she wasn't felled by a car crash or other graphic fate, I forgot about it.

Even the expected whines of women-- "I Am Woman" and the opposite perspective "Let It Please Be Him" were not in much evidence-- a few votes for Helen Reddy, no votes for Vicki Carr and only a couple for the advice of Charlene in "I've Never Been To Me" (#3 in 1982).

My personal sorrow is that Shipwrecks didn't rate higher-- from Celine Dioin's tome to the Titanic ("My Heart Will Go On" #1 for 2 weeks in 1998) to Maureen McGovern's tale of the Poseidon ("There's Got To Be A Morning After" #1 for 2 weeks in 1973) to "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald" (#2 in 1976) water and music do not mix-- and nary a word for the one record straddling both death and oceans: Jody Reynold's "Endless Sleep" (#5 in 1958) or even Tiny Bubbles (Don Ho which fortunately only reached #56 in '66 but has disasterous memories for many).

Do Ho brings up the category of vocal stage entertainers who should have never committed to vinyl, the king of which did get a few votes: Wayne Newton's Danke Schoen (#13 in 1963). We were also spared from cute this year, though everything from "Rubber Duckie" (Jim Henson as "Ernie" #16 1970) to "Gimme Dat Ding" (Pipkins #9 also in 1970) accrued several mentions.

How was this year's list different from previous years? Two of the records on the 2006 list were different, four differ from 2005 and 2004, two differ from 2003... looking back a decade ago to 1997 there were only three commonalities. Kinda fun to see the results from 10 years ago, so here you go:

A decade ago WWHR 1997 (only 3 commonalities to '07)
1 Brian Hyland - Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie... 1960
2 David Seville - Witch Doctor 1958
3 Captain & Tenille - Muscrat Love 1976
4 Minnie Riperton - Lovin You' 1975
5 Bobby Goldsboro - Honey 1968
6 Bo Donaldson - Billly Don't Be A Hero 1974
7 Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight 1976
8 Peggy Lee - Is That All There Is 1969
9 Ohio Express - Yummy Yummy Yummy 1968
10 Lonnie Donegan - Does Your Chewing Gum

Trivia Friday at 10 ET / 7 PT. Talk to you then-- but beware, I'll be armed with Christmas bumpers.. just when you thought it was safe to listen again.

THANKSGIVING NOVEMBER 22, 2007 12:21 AM (CT) Happy Thanksgiving. And what does Thanksgiving bring to mind? I mean besides dreadful relatives? Turkeys! The results of our annual poll of the Worlds' Worst Hit Records. I'll be on live counting them down. Find out what's new this year. It's different from all the past lists. Apparently bad memories do die. But there's never a dearth of candidates. Like Achy Breaky Heart. But worry not-- we won't play them all the way through and we may play a few you'll like-- tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. I've already had requests to print the list here. And right after the show I will. Between now and showtime I'll be compiling it. Votes are officially closed. But there's always next year.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2007 7:00 PM (PT) More stories about police raiding the wrong homes and the damages, chaos and death that ensues. I'll sharea few with you tonight but if you're thinking this isn't a regular occurrence, take a look at this!

And while I'm giving you links, should you have any doubt about which candidate you philosophically resemble, take this quiz. You won't be shocked to hear Ron Paul and I are in virtual agreement. (I say virtual because some questions are worded in such a way that your actual response will not be available-- but even so, it's quite predictive. Try it out.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2007 1:00 AM (PT) If you're a Muslim terrorist and your mission is to come to America and spy on the very agencies involved with keeping terrorism at bay, what would you do? Don't think too hard. All you'd do was walk in to the FBI and ask for a job. They'll give you one complete with security clearance without a thorough background check. Speak Arabic, that's enough. Their track record of inadvertently hiring the enemy is staggering. But be an Arabic speaking Jew-- no room for you, you're biased. Homeland insecurity tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here. And remember, tonight's show (or here via email) is your last opportunity to vote on the 2007 poll of the World's Worst Hit Records. A live show playing back those Turkeys is coming up on Thanksgiving.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2007 12:10 AM (PT) Rudy Guiliani can't be president. Michael Bloomberg, on the other hand may be the candidate. Who said that? A mole within the Bilderbergs who is speaking out on what is going on. Wonder how this secret group is able to control us? For one thing, they have to remain out of the light of scrutiny. That they do. Then it's as simple as letting us believe we are free while they're manipulating everything that matters. How they do it, what we can do about it, and what are the chances we will, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 19, 2007 12:10 AM (PT) Ever wonder what happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'? The rock of our justice system has been chipped away to the size of a pebble. The latest horror has to do with databases. Like what happens when your address is listed online, and on the record as being the home of a sexual predator-- one that hasn't lived at that address for years. You'd think you just call and correct it, right? Wait until you hear the responses-- and the requests, of a citizen with not even a traffic ticket on his record. Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Or read about it here. I've got plenty of other outrages for you too, and I bet you have plenty of suggestions for the World's Worst Hit Records. Poll closes Wednesday night, so call in and vote.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2007 2:00 AM (PT) Many of you have asked I list the answers to the Friday Night Trivia Questions. Here you are:

Results of a survey show that 76% of women do this every day. What? Make their bed. 45% of men claim they do too. (I think we've got a lot of liars of both sexes :)

Scientists say that people who do this are more organized and efficient than everybody else. Do what? Sleep less than six hours a night. (Only if most of 'em were too tired to answer this question.)

The first all digital landline telephone system was installed in 1982. Where? Denmark.

In the 5th Century BC, it was illegal to export this out of Greece. What? Figs. Solon, the ruler of Attica from 639 to 559 BC made it illegal to export because there was a concern that there wouldn't be enough of these then world famous figs for the citizenry.

According to Greek historian Herodotus Egyptian men never did this. Did what? became bald. According to H. the reason was that as children Egyptian males had their heads shaved and their scalps were continually exposed to the health giving rays of the sun. (Yeah, right. Tell that to a dermatologist.)

And we have one question we're holding over to next Friday, so if you're eligible to play by email, check it out. I've listed it under "She Said What" to your left. I'll be back later tonight to tell you what's on tap for Monday but remember, the voting on the World's Worst Hit Records continues through Wednesday night. Any genre, any decade, as long as it's a hit and you hate it, vote. We'll be playing back your Top Ten on Thanksgiving-- and yes it will be a live show.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2007 1:00 AM (PT) When police in England lobbied for a DNA database including everyone born in the UK, many people bristled. At least it hasn't gotten to that point here in America yet. Oh really? Find out about Minnesota which takes the DNA of every newborn without parental permission and then stores it for whatever use they'll envision. They downplay it. And defend it. Not worried because you're not in Minnesota? Think it won't be where you are soon if you don't protest now? Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2007 12:20 AM (MT) Under the guise of the census, the government can ask you deeply personal questions. And if you refuse to answer them, they can fine you or send you to jail. In answer to outraged citizens, they say they don't actually prosecute-- but they can. Find out what happened to the census-- it's nothing like the constitution required. It doesn't even happen every 10 years anymore. And find out what you can do about it. Then hear about even more government intrusion into parents rights tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read the census story here, and another horrible example of the right's parents don't have, here. I don't have an update on that after the October article, but maybe you do.

The stream continues to work nicely by the way-- some glitches at my end going from the live stream to the replayed loop-- but I'll smooth that out. Should be no problem for you. If it is, just restart it. Audio should be there 24-7 now. Thanks!

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 13, 2007 4:00 AM (PT) Describe an attacker as a Hispanic male and you'll be hit with charges of racism. It happened in Phoenix where a broadcaster objected saying 'it's not a race'. Tell that to La Raza. The preferred description? Dark skinned. Tell that to the 9-11 memorial commission that depicted statues of a hispanic, black and white firefighters, all three in the same shade of bronze. Hispanic not a racial category? Guess we better take it out of EEO concerns. Having it both ways tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. And read about it here.

We talked about the latest horror in the 'it's for the children!' drama of child support which supports no one but the government last night. (If you missed it,the poor guy lost his reputation and career when in reality he didn't owe any back support.) The sad truth is we could do several stories nightly and not repeat them. I mentioned calling your senators and representatives to tell them to vote NO on HR 1386 (in the house) and S 803 in the senate. Much of the federal funds earmarked for enforcement of this insanity expired last month and there's a big push to refund this atrocity. Please call your representatives and senators and implore them to vote NO on these bills. It's an unpopular position for many to take, so the only way they'll do it is to hear from YOU.

The Capitol Hill switchboard is 202-224-3121. Find your senators here and your representatives here(enter your zip code in the blank on the upper left of the page). And tell them you'd like to see a senate investigation into the hijacking of the American public in the name of federal child support. Want to know more? Go to www.nfja.org. Thanks. (Oh, also stay on the senate about defeating the Law Of The Sea treaty-- it's an atrocious UN agreement that will surely drown our sovereignty and it can come up for vote at any time before Winter recess.)

MONDAY NOVEMBER 12, 2007 5:30 PM (PT) The new stream is working!! You should be able to access it from your favorite .mp3 player (unless your favorite player is Windows Media which doesn't work-- and I don't care. Real Player works fine, QuickTime is perfect, likewise for iTunes and others). You should be fine. Click here and enoy it-- if we're live on the air at the time! Want more detailed info? Click here

MONDAY NOVEMBER 12, 2007 2:20 AM (PT) HAPPY VETERANS DAY and a big thank you to every one who has put their life on the line for our freedom. Too bad we lost it without a shot. Take this story for instance.... What's the definition of privacy? In the real world, you won't get too far before the concept of anonymity comes in when defining your privacy in relationship to others. Your right to spend cash rather than have your purchases tracked via credit, for instance. But when it comes to the government masters of redefinition, privacy is not anonymity at all, rather the government's pledge to handle your most personal information with care. Find out why it's redefined and be prepared to be alarmed tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Or read about it here now.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 11, 2007 1-5 AM (ET) Hosting Coast to Coast again tonight and it should be interesting.. especially at that moment on the West Coast where I'll be on at 11:11 on 11/11. We'll talk briefly about what that means, and then we'll center on something related-- the UFO phenomenon.

If you want to have a good laugh, you've got to check out the video done to Eddie Cletro's "Flying Saucer Boogie". From what I can tell, the guy who uploaded it did know much about it. As for the images, I'm equally clueless. But as for the song-- it's a classic: a 1952 flip side that is still a collector's item. Eddie (still alive at 89) was quite the local LA radio and television sensation in the 40s and 50s. Hailing from New Jersey, he spun a yarn that he was from Oklahoma, more fitting for his new country image that included a name change (from O'Clethero to Cletro) and even a stint with Spade Cooley (before the big scandal).

By all accounts he is a truly nice guy, and sadly he's proved that nice guys finish last-- at least when it comes to chart records, of which he had none nationally. But his local reputation remained for many years after he left the business and last year some of his classic stuff came out on CD. But nothing beats seeing it with this video right here.

Dr. Joe Buchman will join me in the first hour of Coast tonight to report on the just concluded 5th Annual UFO Crash Retrieval Conference in Las Vegas. Joe's had his own run ins with UFOs and I'll leave it to you to determine whether that prepared him for his current role as a Life Coach. After years as a researcher, author and tenured professor, he turned his teaching talents to seminars and one on one sessions guiding people to better navigate their lives. If you're interestesd, you can go to DreamMakersAcademy.com and drop them an email with Joe Buchman in the subject line which they'll forward to him.

After that, we'll spend the rest of the show with Victoria Liljenquist. I won't begin to tell her story here. You'll hear it on the air, or read it for yourself on her website, victoriaslight.com. And I'll be back here before morning to let you know what's on tap for tomorrow night on my show. With any luck we may have the new stream operating by show time. (It's operating now, but operating with a universal link. I'll keep you posted.)

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2007 6:40 PM (PT) Playing around with another stream tonight (along with the one you usually access from me, if you access any at all from me.) One or both could be inaccessible from time to time, but I can fix that if you have iTunes. You'll even get a higher quality stream. Go to mystreamingserver.com and follow the instructions in green. Ultimately I will have a universal URL that anyone with an .mp3 player can access easily, but for now we may hit a few potholes along the dirt road known as the information superhighway. And if you're a technophobe completely or don't have a computer or have no patience (don't blame you), then nevermind. Talk to you in about 30 minutes on the good ole' radio.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2007 4:00 AM (PT) We'll play trivia tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. So many requests to hear last night's show with Walter Burien, that I got it up online. It's an on-demand download and you can access it at mystreamingserver.com right now.

Walter has spent the last 17 years bringing you vital insight into the actual financial condition of the country, and his actual financial condition has suffered tremendously for his efforts. Go to hs website, CAFR1.com and if you can, donate to it. If everyone kicked in a buck, he'd be in a much better position to continue the fight. Thanks!

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 8, 2007 2:30 AM (PT) What would happen if there was no income tax-- and no other tax to replace it? How many programs would be cut? Consider all government-- federal, state and local-- with zero income tax dollars. If you think it would be pretty dire, hold on to your seat-- the government doesn't need one dollar of your taxes to fund everything they do. Impossible you say? Wait until you hear about the balance sheets you're not seeing, tonight at 10 ET / 7PT. They're called the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and when you hear Walter Burien talk about them tonight, you're gonna feel duped.. and you should. Want to read about it first? Here's a link to Walter's site, CAFR1.

Yes, I want you to stay on the Senate about the Law Of The Sea Treaty (see the entry from last Thursday below) but I've got another request-- and it's one that will benefit the freedom and liberty of every citizen. You've heard me talk about the insanity of our Child Support Enforcement system. It's broken on so many levels. We discuss much of it on the air. The bottom line is it's NOT for "the children". It's a bloated bureaucracy which has ensnared a huge percentage of Americans, primarily men who are non-custodial parents, but it reaches much further than that. The mistakes are legendary, and the actions outrageous. And the fact that the federal government is in this at all is a disgrace to the constitution.

The good news is that a healthy portion of funding for this morass dried up last month. However those seeking to extract every dollar possible from citizens are moaning and crying how single mothers (notice that custodial parents are rarely considered to be fathers)-- and their children may be forced to be on welfare if it is not for the federal dollars funding this government extortion. There are two bills now circulating-- one in the house -- HR 1386 and one in the senate-- S 803.

And when you're calling, also ask for senate oversight hearings on the sorry state of Child support which is walking all over the constitution and putting millions of citizens in peril in the name of the Children who benefit least from these gestapo-like regulations. If this is not important to you now, there's a good chance it will be personal in your life time-- draining you or someone you love. It will never stop unless millions of Americans band together and demand it stop.

Why should a non-custodial parent be forced by law to pay for what an intact family parent can legally choose not to pay? I could go on, but I'm praying that with enough outcry, this convoluted system won't. At the very least we've got to get the feds completely out of this issue. And the idea that social security numbers through driver's licenses are used to track down non-custodial parents is a greater outrage when several states offer driver's licenses without social security numbers needed-- if you're an illegal alien. Get involved on this one please.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2007 12:30 AM (PT) Let me get this straight. The Mexican truck pilot program which allows Mexican trucking companies access to lucrative freight routes in America includes the provision that American taxpayers will fund the upgrade of their trucks? Yup. While our owner-operators bear the cost of installing Qualcomm computerized tracking systems on their own, our government installs the expensive systems in the Mexican trucks-- with money congress is forbidding them to spend. One sided nonsense tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read it here-- and weep.

And speaking of global inequities, don't forget to call your senators to implore them to vote no on the UN Law Of The Sea treaty. 202-224-3121 or senate.gov to send an email. I'll stay on you to stay on them. Thanks!

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 6, 2007 3:31 AM (PT) First cell phones became the rage, then phone accessories. But now the biggest growth accessory is a device that fits in the palm of your hand and blocks people nearby from getting a signal. If you've been bothered by noisy impolite talkers, you might smile benevolently. But think about needing a phone in a real emergency, not to mention the extortion possibilities for someone with a landline nearby. Blockers continue to be illegal, but now there's a push to change that. Why you should care, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2007 12:45 AM (PT) What US zip code has the highest wage earners? While many people spout off Beverly Hills 90210, or Brentwood 90049, or some posh area of Manahttan, even the Hamptons out on Long Island or Grosse Pointe near Detroit, the truth after 9-11 has nothing to do with reality, because now the highest wage earning enclaves are the product of high paying government jobs created in reaction to terrorism. Find out how billions of your tax dollars are being spent tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Or read about it here. And please read Thursday's entry below. We've got to stay on the Senate to defeat the Law Of The Sea treaty. This is critical. Thanks!

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2007 3:00 PM (PT) The Law Of The Seas Treaty saled through committee today and will soon be voted on by the full Senate. This is globalism at it's worst, putting the UN in control of vital aspects of our sovereignty. The good news is, it only takes 34 senators to defeat it as a 2/3rds majority is needed for passage of a treaty. It's been defeated before, and we must defeat it again. But that's going to take your calls and emails. Read about it here. Then call 202-224-3121. That's the Capitol Hill switchboard. They can connect you to your senators (and they know who they are). Or click here for a list (alphabetically and by state). When you see the senator's name, if you'll click on it, it will take you to his or her individual website, where you can find all their offices, in case you can't leave a messaage on the Washington office phone. Thanks for your help.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2007 12:10 AM (PT) Our government says the anthrax vaccine is safe, but the GAO reports reveal that's not the case. One or two percent of those given it may die, or suffer horrendous side effects. Thousands of documented cases prove it. But when a soldier refused to take the Russian Roulette vaccine, he was demoted, penalized and is facing a dishonorable discharge. He thought he was fighting for our freedom. Why should you care? Because there's a plan to give it to YOU too. Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here. And don't forget, the voting for the annual list of the World's Worst Hit Records continues through Wed. Nov. 21!

OCTOBER 2007

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31, 2007 3:00 AM (PT) It's Halloween-- a night for horrors! And in keeping with horrible traditions, it's time to open the annual poll for the World's Worst Hit Records. You know the one-- the one that comes on right after the radio station ID says they're "playing your favorite songs" and you lunge to change the channel. Any decade, any genre qualifies as long as it was a hit.. meaning someone actually paid money for that song you hate. Now that's terror, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 30, 2007 12:01 AM (MT) American drivers who have been alarmed at the thought of the Mexican Truck Pilot Program are going to be downright enraged by this. It's all a scam. Not the fact that there really is no infrastructure to properly gauge the safety issues-- that's child's play considering this revelation. 1,000 Mexican trucking companies have been operating throughout the United States for years, exempt from the laws that prohibit them. Stunning details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Want to read about it? Click here.

MONDAY OCTOBER 29, 2007 2:20 AM (PT) When you hear about a government staging a press conference with bureaucrats acting as reports lobbing softball questions to officials, you think it's business as usual in places like China. You don't think it can happen here in the USA. Not only can it, it did. FEMA staged the show where real reporters could listen on the phone but only scripted questions from unknown bureaucrats were taken. What happened, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 28, 2007 1:00-5:00 AM (ET) / 10P-2A (PT) I'm hosting Coast to Coast tonight and just in time for Halloween I'll be joined by an honest-to-god Witch. But it gets better. She's a technical writer by trade. If that doesn't explain the documentation which comes with your digital doo-dads, nothing will. Her name is Deborah Lipp. Click on it and you'll get to her website. Her latest book is "The Study Of Witchcraft". Click on it for a good deal from Amazon, or check out her "The Way of Four" or "The Way of Four Spellbook" or "Elements of Ritual". (Click on each one of them for more info.) Talk to you tonight.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 25, 2007 2:00 AM (PT) Compared to family court, one soldier is vocal about preferring iraq. He hadn't planned to re-join the service, but couldn't find other work and had to pay child support, which is now deducted from his military pay. Comes home on leave and is shackled handcuffed and jailed for not reimbursing a doctor's visit for his child, unknown to him. Then there's a woman who is jailed by family court if she doesn't allow visitation-- and jailed by another entity, if she does. Hear about these terrors tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 24, 2007 2:20 AM (PT) Latest reason for a traffic stop? Too many air fresheners hanging from a rear view mirror say police. It's because I'm hispanic says the driver. You can sort it out. And while you're pondering-- Ecuador is playing quid pro quo. They won't renew the US airbase there-- unless we allow them a base in Miami-- after all, if we have no problem putting soldiers on their land, why not the other way around, they say. And then there's the Hillary movie. Lots to talk about tonight at 10. Of course before then, the senate may vote on the stand alone Dream Act (S.2205) before hand. I'll keep you posted, but if you have the time, call your senator today. 202-224-3121 is the Capitol Hill Switchboard, or call direct by getting the number here.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 23, 2007 2:30 AM (PT) We're always talking about getting involved, but how involved will most of us get? Would you quit your job to run for political office? Would you find a job that let you expose political wrong doing? Chris Tidmore did both-- in Louisiana where wrong doing is easy to find. We'll talk about what's really going on in the Big Easy which in many ways is a microcosm of what's happening in your neighborhood politically. The only difference is Louisiana is open about their corruption. Hear it all tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Sorry to say Chris didn't win-- but he came a lot closer than you might expect. Check out his campaign website here.

MONDAY OCTOBER 22, 2007 2:30 AM (PT ) When the American people let congress know that we did not want them to give amnesty to illegals, some were surprised so many citizens actually had an opinion. Others were outraged that voters got involved, blaming everything from racism to talk radio for it. And they figured we'd go away. So they've tried to stick the amnesty provision into various bills to no avail. Now the Senate is going further. They've found a way to pass it without us knowing it. But I'm about to tell you all about it tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Want more info? Check Roy Beck's NumbersUSA.com.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 19, 2007 1:10 AM (PT) Three big hours of trivia tonight! But if you're stopping by wanting to know who the heros were that refused to overturn Bush's veto of the massive increase to the CHIP program, click here for the list of Nays (yeas, too). And for those of you wondering what it is-- it was an expansion of the welfare program to provide government health care to children in lower income families. The threshold made it decidedly middle class however, and detractors saw it as a back door to socialized medicine. Granted, much wrong with our current system. But any chance it would be corrected by socialized medicine? In a word: NO.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 18, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) Admit it, what do you do when something goes wrong in the privacy of your home? Probably you swear. Maybe you've stubbed a toe, perhaps the computer is acting up, the printer won't print, or your toilet is over flowing. It was that last one that caused one woman's blue streak. Yes, she was a potty mouth cursing at the commode, but she was in her own bathroom. For that, she's arrested for disorderly conduct. In her own home. Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. And read about it here.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 17, 2007 12: 30 AM (PT) Some citizens are comfortable with the provisions of the Patriot Act. Take wiretapping where the government can listen to your calls without a court order. One former Telcom CEO says it isn't because of 9-11, because he was ordered to do it six months before the attack. The senate's been asking all Telcoms for info and the White House is prohibiting them from giving it. Will congress provide Telcoms immunity from your lawsuits without knowing what they've done? Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 16, 2007 12:30 AM (PT) A college student who suggested that allowing students to legally carry weapons on campus might deter gun violence was not only suspended, he's been told he can't return unless he goes for counseling. That's right, advocating a pro second amendment position means he's unbalanced according to this school. We'll talk to Gun Owners of America's Larry Pratt about that, and about the government's plan to disarm retired military-- the one the NRA accepts tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Looking for an alternative to the NRA that will really protect your right to carry a weapon? Look no further than GOA. Check out their website here and join us tonight.

MONDAY OCTOBER 15, 2007 3:00 AM (PT) What happens when a specialist says your child should be seen by her regularly and your pediatrician thinks he can handle the problem himself. In the case of a New Jersey couple they followed the pediatrician's advice and now are faced with losing parental rights. Actually the hospital said they had lost those rights, a social worker claimed she had the right to privately interview the other kids, and a cop backed her up. None of this is legal, but the intimidation usually works. Horrific details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read about it here.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 14, 2007 10:00 PM (PT) Hosting Coast to Coast AM tonight (available on a radio near you, no doubt). We'll be talking to Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby who is one of the world's leading alternative health proponents and practitioners. This guy is his own industry. You've got to see some of the stuff he's into. You can read all about it here, or hear all about it in moments.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 11, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) Opponents of socialized medicine point to the excessively long waiting times incurred in places like Canada. 10 months for an MRI not uncommon. But what do they do with maternity patients? Babies won't wait. And they don't have to. Mothers are airlifted to US hospitals-- the system that is so disliked. Find out all about it. What will they do if we have socialized medicine? What will WE do? Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read the story here.

And a couple of videos you'll want to watch. One is Immigration By The Numbers (Immigration Gumballs) done so well by Roy Beck of Numbers USA. Spend 14 minutes watching it all right here. The other is Money As Debt. It's gonna cost you 47 minutes of your time, and a night's sleep, but you'll want to see it anyway. It's here.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 10, 2007 12:31 AM (PT) The government's unwillingness to protect our borders and stop the avalanche of illegal immigrants is very upsetting to most Americans. Why aren't they doing anything about it? Because they can't imagine what can be done. If that's you, you'll want to hear Daniel Sheehy. He's highlighted the problem, and several Americans who are doing something about it. Find out what you can do tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

And if you're in the Albany New York area, you can hear Dan in person this coming Monday, October 15th, 7:30 at the Albany Marriott on Wolf Road. 888-713-8087 for more info. The local JBS chapter is sponsoring the speech and if you're nearby do try to attend. If you'd like to pick up a copy of Dan's book which details the stories of several patriots who are 'doing something about it', here's a link to a good price on "Fighting Immigration Anarchy".

TUESDAY OCTOBER 9, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) Should a citizen be allowed to make an informed decision about whether to be vaccinated, is an ongoing debate. That vaccine manufacturers are often protected from lawsuits arising over adverse reactions should be the only alarm bell you'd need to decide, but it gets worse. That vaccine protecting teenage girls from an STD that was the focus of massive lobbying to make mandatory, turns out to have some side effects. Some fatal side effects. Find out more tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Want to know more? Read about it here.

MONDAY OCTOBER 8, 2007 12:01 AM (MT) I'm baack... and ready to talk to you tonight. Lots of things on my mind. For instance, it's one thing to know that the Federal Reserve is neither federal, nor a reserve. It's another to learn that they're decidedly against the interests of the American worker. Find out about former Federal Reserve Chairman Allan Greenspan and his comment that Americans make too much money. We'll also tell you about teen deaths from mandatory vaccines, how Bush is offering Ag Amnesty without telling you and why he wants NAFTA to include Peru. Think "Law of the Sea", and we'll talk, live, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT

VACATION SCHEDULE

Next week I'll turn into a pumpkin, or otherwise be unavailable. That gives you an opportunity to hear some of the shows you've misssed or want to hear again. We pick out the ones that get the get the most requests, and run them. Since several of you have asked to be alerted as to when they'll air-- here they are!

MONDAY OCTOBER 1, 2007 7:00 PM PT - DR PAUL WILLIAMS - Imagine being a reporter and uncovering a link between a group of students at one university and their involvement in terrorism. Now that's a story everyone wants to read, right? Well Paul Williams who has written extensively about the Islamic threat thought so. He's being sued for his efforts. Paul is an American in America, being sued by a Canadian college. Hear about that and what we really face when it comes to Islamic terrorists. Unpolitically correct but totally true.

So who is Paul Williams? Dr. Paul Williams, Phd. Here's info about his defense fund. Here's his take on the latest bin Laden message. And here's his latest book, at a great price.

MONDAY OCTOBER 1, 2007 8:00 PM PT - JOHN MCMANUS, JBS - If there's no fear that the SPP meeting in Canada was about trashing our sovereignty, then why were the meetings behind closed doors? John McManus, president of the John Birch Society decided to show up. He can only guess what was going on inside, but for a close up view of how the press was treated and what citizens nearby thought, he's got all the details and he joins me this hour. Interested in learning more about JBS? Click here.

MONDAY OCTOBER 1, 2007 9:00 PM PT - CONNIE FOGAL - When we talk about the coming North American Union, most Americans aware of the plan are appalled. But our major media is not exactly forthcoming on this issue. The real story is in what they're not saying. But what about Canadians? What is their media saying about this? And those who are aware of the plan to combine all three nations-- what do they think about it? Find out when Connie Fogal head of the Canadian Action Party joins me this hour. John McManus of JBS suggested Connie after meeting her outside the latest SPP meetings in Quebec. Check her and the CAP out here.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 2, 2007 7:00 - 10:00 PM PT - DR. JEROME CORSI - The discussion of 'IS America self-destructing' is over. The question is "Why?" Who benefits? If we're the economic engine of the rest of the world, why kill America, its economy and workforce? Doubt that's what's happening? Leaf through Jerome Corsi's latest book "The Late Great USA" It's actually pretty easy to prove. What's not so simple is the "Why". The globalists are behind it, some say. Find out how they benefit --and how we lose, as Dr. Corsi joins me tonight. Get a copy of Jerry's book here at a great price.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 3, 2007 7:00 PM PT - MELODY CEDARSTROM - Mortgages have imploded, the housing market will undoubtedly continue to fall. It will affect the already erratic stock market, tons of retirement portfolios and most banks. The dollar is in significant decline. Has anyone suggested you buy gold? Before you do, you better truly understand how gold as a commodity trades. There's more to know than the spot price. Understanding some things you're usually not told can make the difference between security and disappointment.

Find out what they are as Melody Cedarstrom from Discount Gold And Silver Trading Company joins me this hour. I've advertised her company for quite awhile and I've asked her to come on and tell you some of the things she's told me that really made a difference in deciding what, if anything, to buy and how. It's definitely not one size fits all. You may be surprised at some of the variables!

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 3, 2007 8:00 - 10:00 PM PT - AL CUPPETT - some call him the king of conspiracy theories, others see him as a prophet. Decide for your self in this two hour segment and if you want to know more, contact Al by snail mail at Box 111, Wolftown, VA 22748. You can also get some info on his videos at infolords.com and thebyteshow.com. (Click on 'em.)

THURSDAY OCTOBER 4, 2007 7:00 PM PT - TOM CRYER - You've heard about not having to pay taxes for years. People proffering that reasoning often wind up in jail for tax evasion. Then there's Tom Cryer, an attorney from Louisiana who stopped paying-- and was totally acquitted. What was different about his argument? He's not alone, by the way. Vernie Kuglin also won a tax evasion case. Find out how he won and what the chances are that you can successfully stop paying too, as Tom joins me this hour. Definitely check out his website truthattack.org and liefreezone.com. We'll have him on for updates periodically.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 4, 2007 8:00 PM PT - LARRY BECRAFT - Why does one tax protester fail in court, and another one with the same case succeed. You may think it's the judge, and for good reason. But what if the judges are equally biased against the defendants, then what is it? It may come down to the ability of the client, but more likely it's the skill of the attorney. One guy who has won repeatedly is Larry Becraft. He joins me tonight to share his secrets. But before you stop filing, you better hear the rest of the story thits hour.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 4, 2007 9:00 PM PT - JOHN LOTT - We're about to talk with one of my favorite researchers. Dr. John R. Lott who first came to my attention with "More Guns, Less Crime". What amazed me was his intellectual honesty. He was not necessarily pro-gun, but when the facts lined up undeniably, he reported them and accepted them. His latest book is called "Freedomnomics" and the logic is irrefutable. Check it out for yourself by visiting John's site here. And you'll probably want a link to a great price for his book Freedomnomics. Here it is.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 5, 2007 7:00 PM PT - DUNCAN HUNTER - The House of Representatives did as much as they could to fight illegal immigration before the summer recess. And the Bush administration is doing as much as they can to undo the house actions while they're away, like getting the Mexican truck pilot program underway. Or turning our concern against us by draconian citizen employment databases. Find out what's really going on when the illegal immigrant's biggest opponent, Congressman Tom Tancredo, joins me this hour. Check out his campaign site here.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 5, 2007 8:00 - 10:00 PM PT - So you've heard the Fairness Doctrine might be back and you're worried. Stop. You need to know exactly what it was and why there's no big concern. We'll tell you more than you'd ever care about its history and use. But ...if you're enjoying your free unfettered access to the internet, there IS a threat that should scare the daylights out of you that is very real. And it's not coming from the government. Well, not entirely but they'll welcome it. You won't . Hear all about that too, in these two hours. Lots of requests for this one-- try not to miss it. Back Monday the 8th (in my quest to never miss a holiday show, even Columbus Day) to talk to you live!

SEPTEMBER 2007

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 2007 - We'll play trivia tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Talk to you then!

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 27, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) The CFO of the Texas D.O.T. says that selling public roads to private foreign companies is a lot like playing the casino poker game, "Texas Hold'em". A direct quote? "You can expect political objections, but if you play your cards right, you'll win." Notice he doesn't say the public should have a say in any of this, but he does have a plan for to get around what they do say. More details of the New York conference teaching our bureaucrats how to sell our infrastructure out from under us tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Want to read Jerry Corsi's article on this outrage? Click here.

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2007 12:01 AM PT Companies are always looking for innovative ways to market to you. Many of them are invasive. But so far nothing tops this-- a phone company that has come up with software to listen to all your calls so they can send ads targeted to what you're talking about. They think it's a plus. They also think you'll believe that they never actually hear what you say or save the information. And now they're trying to sell it to your phone company. Over the top tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Want to read it for yourself? Click here.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2007 1:01 AM (ET) At one time congress decided what to give our veterans. Now they're debating what to take away. Specifically, the right to own a gun. That's right, people we trained and trusted to carry a weapon in the service, will be forever be denied that right once they're out. How this this possible? In the loophole that denies weapons to the mentally unbalanced. A new bill coming to the floor of the senate denies the right of gun ownership to virtually every serviceman and woman. Find out how this works, or doesn't, tonight at 10. Want to read about it now? Click here.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2007 10:00 PM (PT) (on XM 165 and about 600 radio stations). Have I got a conspiracy for you! It's waaaay beyond a political conspiracy-- it's an all encompassing, multi-faceted mind blowing general purpose conspiracy. But before you can decide whether you believe it, you need to know a little about nonduality. Actually you know everything you need to know, you just don't realize you know it. Jerry Katz, who has spent the last 8 years taking nonduality to the general public, will break it down so you know exactly what we're discussing. It might change the way you view your life entirely. It probably will be a comfort. But whatever it is, we promise to entertain you along the way to a shocking conclusion. Check out Jerry's site nonduality.net here.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2007 7:35 PM (PT) Talking to Freddy Cannon right now. If you'd like a copy of his "Down At Fenway Park", a great Red Sox record with proceeds going go kids in Children's Hospitals, click here. If you'd like to pick up my favorite CD of his greatest hits, it's here. And if you want to check out Freddy's site, it's www.freddycannon.com. Good stuff!

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2007 2:01 AM (PT) We'll have Freddy Cannon on tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT, and after that, we'll play trivia for a couple hours after that. If you want to contact Jeanette Maier, the Canal Street Madam, click on csbmadam@aol.com. Yes, these are separate thoughts, unless of course you're factoring nonduality, which we will Sunday night.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 20, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) You're driving along and a sheriff's deputy pulls you over. Two people in blue jumpsuits approach your car and ask for samples of your saliva and blood. You protest. They persist. You ask if you have to legally do this. They say they'll pay you $100. You continue to resist and do not get clearance to leave. Is this America? Yes, it's Colorado. The police are apologizing, the survey was private. Private?! Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Want to read about it? Click here.

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2007 1:45 AM (ET) You may think the government should not sell off our infrastructure to private foreign companies. Our government however not only thinks it's a good idea, they want to know how to do it better. And there are foreigners who want to tell them, such as EuroMoney PLC which is holding a conference in New York on what they're calling the public-private partnership. The cost to get in is $2 grand. But anyone likely to reveal what they're really discussing is not allowed at any price. Details tonight at. Want to read about it? Click here. But before we get to that...

Ever wonder what the FBI was working on just prior to 9-11? Keeping us safe from the terrors of voluntary sex. Ridding the streets of New Orleans of a brothel. As one politician put it, 'Prostitutes in New Orleans? Who knew?' More to the point, who cared-- and why. The ladies were convicted, the patrons not even named. It's the story of The Canal Street Madam, Jeanette Maier and she'll tell it tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. But will she live to tell who's in her little black book? One hooker didn't. All you'll want to know and more. And our thanks to Elwood, The Flaming Liberal for setting it up.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 2007 1:00 AM (PT) There are many reasons to believe the economy is in the tank, and even more to suspect the stock market will be affected, but what would you have to know to be willing to bet a billion dollars that the market would lose half of its value by the end of this week? What kind of a catastrophe would you have to know was going to occur for you to spend a billion with a B on options that are only good in the event of cataclysmic collapse? This is not a rhetorical question. An investor put his money on the line last month. Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 17, 2007 12:01 AM PT You knew that the drive to legalize millions of illegals in America did not end with the defeat of comprehensive immigration reform. And you probably heard that it would be snuck into other bills, a bit at a time. Well more than a bit is being inserted into a defense bill in the House this week. Dick Durbin is trying to get his Dream Act into law without you knowing. Amnesty? You bet. In state tuition for illegals? It's in there. All the details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

Want a glimpse of it? click here. And if you'd like to be more outraged, how about the new rules that says it's OK to taser citizens but not illegals? Click here for that one. Maybe it'll make you want to renounce your citizenship. You've probably never thought about that seriously, much like the parents of Junior High School students in California who were shocked to see their kids come home with a letter from a teacher asking them to sign consent to do just that. All a misunderstanding? Click here and you decide. Talk to you tonight.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 12:20 AM (MT) Imagine being a reporter and uncovering a link between a group of students at one university and their involvement in terrorism. Now that's a story everyone wants to read, right? Well Paul Williams who has written extensively about the Islamic threat thought so. He's being sued for his efforts. Paul is an American in America, being sued by a Canadian college. Hear about that and what we really face when it comes to Islamic terrorists. Unpolitically correct but totally true tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

So who is Paul Williams? Dr. Paul Williams, Phd. Here's his Wikipedia entry. Here's info about his defense fund. Here's his take on the latest bin Laden message. And here's his latest book, at a great price.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2007 12:01 AM (MT) Today marks the sixth anniversary of the September 11th attack. Is there anyone who feels there is any reason to feel more secure? Our open borders alone bely that. The real question is does anyone feel less free? The sad answer is everyone paying attention does-- because almost daily there's another draconian plan announced in the fine print you don't easily see. Take those RFID chips. And those studies linking them to tumors. More of what they don't want you to know tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

And you know they don't want you to know the truth about the Mexican trucking pilot program. The House voted to de-fund that fiasco before summer recess. This morning the senate debates a similar amendment in their Transportation appropriation bill sponsored by Senator Durgin. It's vital you let your senators know that you want that amendment to pass. For a lot of reasons, including watching how the White House will react to our representatives thwarting their plans, as they've been ordered by an international tribunal to get this thing going. But there's a danger of it not passing without sufficient public outcry supporting it. Please call the Capitol Hill switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to your senators. (You don't have to know them by name, just where you live.) If you get a voice mail message that says their mailboxes are full, send them an email. You can find out who they are here along with a link for email. (Click on their name and you'll be directed to their individual website which will get you local phone numbers too.) Bottom line, if you take a few minutes, you can find a way to reach them. Please do it now, as the debate occurs in hours.

Great to have Al Cuppett on earlier tonight. Really frightening stuff. Want to know more? Contact Al by snail mail at Box 111, Wolftown, VA 22748. You can also get some info on his videos at infolords.com and thebyteshow.com. (Click on 'em.)

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2007 2:45 AM (PT) The first Mexican truck in the pilot program rolled into America with no fanfare in the cover of darkness over the weekend. Compare that to Mexico where a grand gala last February announced the program, and the week prior to its inception, word of it was everywhere. We have a government that denies there is a coming NAFTA superhighway and Mexicans are talking about driving on it. Maybe they know something else we're not being told. A real conspiracy tonight. Want to read more? Click here. And if you're really looking for a conspiracy-- we'll also tell you about the medical studies in the '90s linking the implantable RFID chip and tumors in lab animals tested. Here's a link to that one from the Washington Post. But before we get to any of it, we'll talk to the king of conspirators, Al Cuppett at 10 ET / 7 PT! You gotta hear this.

SUNDAY NIGHT SEPTEMBER 9, 2007 1-5A ET / 10P-2A PT I'll be hosting Coast to Coast AM. And I'm really looking forward to talking with Dr. Lauren Thibodeau. She's the real deal when it comes to mediums-- you know, people who talk to people who have become dearly departed, or maybe not so dearly departed, but dead nonetheless. Actually a lot of us talk to the dead, but Dr. Lauren gets answers-- and more. She's so good, she's about the only medium to qualify for residence in Lily Dale on the first try. You'll remember Lily Dale from our visit there a few years ago.

We've been meaning to introduce you to Dr. Lauren since then, and Coast to Coast is the perfect vehicle at the perfect time. Her latest book was just released. Check out Natural-Born Soulmates here, and her previous book Natural-Born Intuition here. Is it the other side, your own intuition (whatever that is, and we'll find out) or just plain delusional paranoia? We'll find out Sunday night. Talk to you then.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 7, 2007 12:10 AM (PT) Trivia tonight-- two or three hours depending on whether we'll catch the elusive Val Shively and talk obscure oldies for an hour first. Tune in and find out at 10 ET / 7 PT.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2007 1:45 AM (ET) When we talk about the coming North American Union, most Americans aware of the plan are appalled. But our major media is not exactly forthcoming on this issue. The real story is in what they're not saying. But what about Canadians? What is their media saying about this? And those who are aware of the plan to combine all three nations-- what do they think about it? Find out when Connie Fogal head of the Canadian Action Party joins me tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. John McManus of JBS suggested Connie after meeting her outside the latest SPP meetings in Quebec. Check her and the CAP out here.

And don't forget that the senate will be debating the FY2008 Transportation Appropriations bill next week. The House version of this bill contains the elimination of funding for the Mexican truck pilot program. Call or write your senators and let them know you want the senate to adopt similar language in their bill. As them to do what it takes to stop this dangerous program. Call 202-224-3121 or click here (all you need to know is where you live).

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2007 12:45 AM (PT) When Larry Nichols told you a few years ago that some congressmen had a lot to hide about their extramarital same sex habits, it sounded too out there to be true. Since then, one by one the news reports have proven him right, Larry Craig being the latest. Find out what else he knows and whether he's making good on his comment that he's got enough inside info on Hillary to make her a non candidate. Hear it all tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 4, 2007 You've heard that government health care means control and rationing. But if John Edwards gets his way, it will also mean control and forced procedures. We're not only talking vaccinations. He wants to make sure you don't miss your mammogram or colonoscopy or god knows what invasive test. To put a good spin on it, if health care passes and the expected rationing ensues, it might be the only time you're glad you can't get treatment. Ludicrous details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Don't believe me? Click here. And while you're at it, check out this sorry notice about Social Security. Those number mismatch letters they're supposed to send out to employers helping halt illegal immigration? A judge has halted that for now.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 3, 2007 10:00 PM (PT) Happy Birthday Bucky Lemon. Forgot to say that on the air and meant to! Speaking of forgetting, I forgot to mention that WHLO is now streaming, and of course weeknights from 11P-2A (ET), that includes me. Check them out here!

AUGUST 2007

THURSDAY AUGUST 30, 2007 1:00 AM (PT) The House of Representatives did as much as they could to fight illegal immigration before the summer recess. And the Bush administration is doing as much as they can to undo the house actions while they're away, like getting the Mexican truck pilot program underway. Or turning our concern against us by draconian citizen employment databases. Find out what's really going on when the illegal immigrant's biggest opponent, Congressman Tom Tancredo, joins me tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 29, 2007 12:45 AM (PT) If you've ever offered advice to a friend, you might be on your way to jail. For instance-- if you've told someone about their civil rights, that's grounds to convict you of practicing law without a license. Nonsense, you say. Well you're right, but it's also part of the actual jury instructions in Nancy Grant's trial. When you can't be found innocent, can it be a fair trial? A rhetorical question, but a very real one for the now guilty Nancy Grant. Details tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Read more about it here. And here. And here (scroll down to the middle of the page for that one).

TUESDAY AUGUST 28, 2007 12:30 AM (PT) It's pretty bad when someone has to run for president on a campaign to secure the nations borders. And even worse when it's the platform of more than one candidate. But that's the state of '08, and the person closest to the action is San Diego Congressman Duncan Hunter, a long time supporter of our sovereignty. He wants to stop the Mexican truck pilot program and free Ramos and Compean... no brainers-- but find out who's disagreeing and why, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

MONDAY AUGUST 27, 2007 12:50 AM (PT) Why does one tax protester fail in court, and another one with the same case succeed. You may think it's the judge, and for good reason. But what if the judges are equally biased against the defendants, then what is it? It may come down to the ability of the client, but more likely it's the skill of the attorney. One guy who has won repeatedly is Larry Becraft. He joins me tonight to share his secrets. But before you stop filing, you better hear the rest of the story tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

Thinking about a career in trucking? Or maybe you're already a driver and wanting to know how to increase your income? Gordon Knapp has written a couple books you'll want to read. You can probably pick them up at your local bookstore, but even easier to order online. Get "Is Over The Road Trucking For You?" at a great price here, and "All About Trucking" here. Worth the read even if you've been driving awhile!

FRIDAY AUGUST 24, 2007 12:30 AM (PT) Trivia tonight! Got a request for a few links. One is the USDA ruling about labeling pasteurized almonds as raw-- that's here. Another is about the National Highway Transportation Agency deciding to keep it's dealings private. (Yes, they're a government agency.) Read that here. And speaking of privacy, the White House has declared the office of administration is off limits for FOIA requests. Read that here. Then weep. Talk to you at 10 ET / 7 PT. And I'll try to be better about printing the trivia answers after the show. Right now I'm looking for the questions.

THURSDAY AUGUST 23, 2007 12:01 AM (PT) If there's no fear that the SPP meeting in Canada was about trashing our sovereignty, then why were the meetings behind closed doors? John McManus, president of the John Birch Society decided to show up. He can only guess what was going on inside, but for a close up view of how the press was treated and what citizens nearby thought, he's got all the details and he joins me tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Interested in learning more about JBS? Click here.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 22, 2007 12:20 AM (PT) In the middle of our discussion about illegal aliens comes this logic from a Kansas appellate court-- it is NOT a crime to be in America Illegally. You're wondering how that's possible? Well according to them, it IS a crime to enter the country illegally but there's nothing on the books that says it's a crime to stay here. "Say What?!" you say? Me too, but here's the worst part-- they are not alone. Other states have used that logic before. Find out how it came to this, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT. Want to read the distressing news for yourself? Click here.

TUESDAY AUGUST 20, 2007 12:45 AM (PT) North American leaders, including Bush, continue their meetings in Quebec behind tightly closed doors. They strongly deny the topic is the North American Union, which they claim is not coming. They denigrate the protesters as being misinformed. Then why is it they feel the need to talk behind a shroud of secrecy. If it's all so good, why not tell us-- or at least tell congress? Why does no one except a select group of invitees have access? More of what they don't want us to know tonight at 10 ET /7 PT.

We'll also talk about what we were going to talk about last night but never got around to discussing. What threw me off was the coverage of Elvira. She's the illegal who was holed up in a Chicago church for a year, protesting her deportation. You've heard about her-- and if you've heard the whole story, perhaps you share my complete mystification. Let's look at the facts:

Elvira first entered America illegally in 1997 and was deported. She returned and had a child here to a man she would not identify. (Wanna bet she didn't pay for the birth with her Mastercard or health insurance?) She then moved to Chicago where she further broke the law. She worked at O'Hare International Airport cleaning planes, knowingly using a false Social Security number. She was convicted of that, and placed on probation for three years. (How the heck we didn't deport her then is another mystery of the system. And why she wasn't also charged with a felony for having re-entered the country is a wonder too.) When she was to report for deportation last year she took refuge in a local church for over a year, claiming that our government was trying to separate her from her son. (How the church could justify their complicity and how they have not lost their tax exempt status at the least is yet another puzzle, but never ind that, we've got a bigger question...)

You may be asking it-- If she's deported, can't she leave with her son? Absolutely. Mexican law gives her son full citizenship. So what is her argument? Get ready to be nauseated. Her issues is that if she took her son with her, the child would lose all the opportunities he has here. Opportunities? Taxpayer supported services, that is. The child would not lose citizenship-- just free education, health care and who knows what. So she had to choose between the life her son could have on the backs of American workers, or the life he would have with her.

And she expects people to be outraged. Hopefully they will be-- but not in the way she and her handlers are expecting. She's now safely back in Tijuana. Meanwhile the child's legal guardian is the Church pastor's wife. Maybe we'll address the church's role. (Maybe we'll notice that among all the "opportunities" afforded the boy born here-- one of them is apparently not the opportunity to learn English which reports claim he does not speak.) But the real issue we need to address is the concept of birth right citizenship. Elvira would be my hero if this insanity touched off an outcry that resulted in rethinking that loophole. One can hope.

MONDAY AUGUST 20, 2007 12:15 AM (CT) There's been talk about label laws for imported products. Things made in a foreign country that we eat, for instance.
