MAY 2010

SATURDAY MAY 29, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Trivia answers and Bumper Stumpers are up under Trivia and Music to your left.

Enjoy your weekend, there will be plenty of angst again by Monday night. Talk to you then!

FRIDAY MAY 28, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Trivia tonight! 3 big hours! Be ready to call in at 7 (PT). If you didn't fill out your census form and you live in a rented property, census workers will lean on your landlord to let them in without your permission, even if you're not home. Landlords are caving-- even providing your personal cell phone number so the government can query you.

I don't have to tell you what a mess has been made of the oil spill in the gulf, so tell me something: Why is Obama insisting he's been in charge from the beginning and is calling all the shots? I'd be more likely to claim I was in a coma. Or perhaps I'd take the fifth, like a BP official is doing. Exactly what has BP done that they think will incriminate them? I bet Elizabeth Birnbaum knows. Congress asked her to investigate the sweetheart BP deal last winter. She quit her post yesterday.

Ron Paul says the Federal Reserve is panicking that so many Americans are awakening to who they are and what they do. Here's a startling statistic: the money supply is contracting at a level not seen since the height of the great depression. So New York thinks the best way to raise money is to further tax millionaires. May they all leave the state.

NHS Horror Story: usually it's about care being withheld from citizens. This time it's about surgery being forced on a patient against her will. The courts give the NHS permission to drug her and take her to the hospital for the operation without her knowledge since she won't consent.

Seattle residents were asked what they needed most from the city. They said.... a nude beach. Actually it was in third place. right behind legalized marijuana.

Google in trouble for it's invasive ways again... Germany might find them hundreds of thousands of dollars. The best part is they're in a no-win situation.

THURSDAY MAY 27, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) US troops going to the border-- but not to stem the tide of illegals. We're making that very clear to Mexico, (where leaders can demand such things as they've made it clear to us they know we're using their citizens as slaves while complaining that we just can't stop 'em from coming). Ths useless exercise is at your expense.

Even lawmakers in Obama's party are upset with his handling of the gulf oil spill. And some are worried Obama's screw up will be to Democrats' detriment in November. Public opinion in general is not on Obama's side on his reaction to the spill. One oil guru says it could be 24 years before the Deepwater gusher ends. And the word is that rig engineers well knew that this might happen-- even fought about it hours before the disaster.

10 cities that will be prosperous over the next decade. You'll see how biased this report is. Woman sues TSA-- they stole her Rolex watch, and set her up for the kill, then claimed she was a liar. She has witnesses. Schwarzenegger wants to cut services for California's next fiscal budget. Democrats say they'll raise taxes... a lot. Is a double dip recession assured? Is this a rhetorical question? Tons of malware on corporate computers. IT spends it's time after the fact rather than a plan beforehand-- like stopping employees from downloading software loaded with problems.

WEDNESDAY MAY 26, 2010 12:01 AM (PT ) If you missed Trevor Paglen earlier, you can hear the show on the stream until tonight's show or download it anytime from MyStreamingServer.com. We'll talk with Lori Foroozandeh tonight. She's an American girl who went to Iran with her husband Mohammad, only to get the shock of her life. You'll hear about her imprisonment abuse and rescue and what a story it is. You get a copy of Lori's Song here and check out Lori's website here.

Is the US Postal Service really constructing criminal investigation rooms? The answer is yes, but the question is "Why"? The Detroit mayor banned TV crews from police tag alongs. The "Why?" to that is more obvious-- getting a copy shooting a 7 year old girl to death. Specious charges against Rand Paul. When you read what he said, it's hard to call him anything but a libertarian. Calling him a racist is misguided at best. Calling the Miami company that created "Gringo Masks" for illegals anything other than racist is equally misguided. The Obama administration urges the court not to hear Virginia's suit against healthcare... talk about specious reasons.

Red light cameras? Two things rise: accidents and revenue. Here's the Palm Beach story. Meanwhile Yakima, Washington which has it's share of illegals, decides contractors do not have to use the E-Verify system. At least we'll be able to find them. The world wide GPS system is getting an upgrade-- that'll make it easier to find Starbucks and easier for the government to find you.

Hungry? Here's 9 restaurant dishes that will add more calories than anyone might want to eat in one sitting.

TUESDAY MAY 24, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) We talked with Venus Andrecht earlier. If you missed the show, it will stream until tonight's program. You can also download it at your convenience at MyStreamingServer.com. Check out Venus' "God Is Always Happy" blog and her ArtMojos.com. And don't forget her "Dear Venus" show, today at 1 PM (PT) on ContactTalkRadio.com.

We'll talk to Trevor Paglen tonight. His "Blank Spots On The Map" is a great read about the dark geography of the pentagon's secret world. Click on it for a good price from Amazon. Speaking of the pentagon, its Cyber Command is preparing for war... against you.

Planning to answer your door with a shotgun if the census comes calling late at night? This woman was killed doing it. You probably know that more guns = less crime, every time. Apparently the mayor of Chicago not only disagrees, he threatens to shoot a reporter who brings up the effectiveness of the city's ban. Not literally, but this will show you how emotional people who have no logical argument will get.

Still have a cell phone contract? Don't try to break it. The cancellation fees are getting pricier. Stick with it to the end-- and then go to a month to month or prepaid plan. AT&T raising cancellation fees to $325 on iPhone contracts.

Dengue Fever hits Key West. Not as deadly as imagined, but still disconcerting.

SATURDAY MAY 22, 2010 1:30 AM (PT) Trivia answers and Bumper Stumpers are up (under Music and Trivia to your left). Forget about all the political and economic nonesense for the weekend. We'll reconvene Monday at 7 (PT) to make you miserable. Until then, have fun.

FRIDAY MAY 21, 2010 6:30 AM (PT) The hour we spent with Kitty Werthmann will stream until tonight's show, or if you want to download it, go anytime to www.mystreamingserver.com If you haven't read her "Don't Let Freedom Slip Away," click on it.

Three big hours of trivia tonight! I'll be ready at 7 (PT) so do your part and call.

The Dalai Lama says he's a marxist, however capitalism has helped China. I could say a lot, but I can't top this. More NHS horrors: sex, death and coverups. Speaking of sex, high school student sues school for seizing her cell phone and showing the nude pictures she privately took of herself to others... you decide.

You probably heard that the dow dropped Thursday. Did you know that some online clients were unable to log in to TD Ameritrade and other sites to do anything about it? That's the bigger story to me.

Then from the 'what harm can illegal aliens do,' file, here's a Long Island story about 4 girls mowed down in a hit and run by an illegal without a driver's license.

THURSDAY MAY 20, 2010 3:00 AM (PT) We'll talk with Kitty Werthmann tonight. She's the Austrian woman who, as a girl, witnessed Adolf Hitler's rise in her homeland. If you haven't read her, "Don't Let Freedom Slip Away," click on it. And make sure to catch the first hour of tonight's show. What she heard decades ago about getting communism into America through the churches, has come to pass.

USA debt-- almost equal our GDP. It will be in the next five years-- or less. 2013 could be the debt crisis year. Stocks could meltdown now. All hell already broke loose in Thailand. Tuesday night the stock exchange was on fire-- literally.

Will the government grab our 401Ks and IRAs? Probably not immediately, but there are plenty of groups hoping to make that a reality, like Retirement USA. Unions and socialists are behind this. Is California trying to get businesses to leave? You'd think so with the new global warming law.

Today's Big Three Lies: Airport scanners don't have enough radiation to give you cancer. Obamacare will cut down on emergency room visits. BP can handle spills 60 times larger than the latest one.

Harry Reid's opponent getting national donations. Good. She's Sharron Angle.

Steve Bryant is back on the radio this week. Check him out 9 to noon ET on WGMD.com and check out his latest parodies at SteveBryant.tv. And as promised, the shortwave slinky antenna. (I think this is the same one on eBay.)

WEDNESDAY MAY 19, 2010 5:30 AM (PT) Rand Paul won, Arlen Specter lost, doesn't get better than that in primaries! I'm sure you've read all the news, so I won't give you links. But as for things you might not have seen, did you hear about the 1099 requirements in Obamacare. This has nothing to do with your health, other than making you sick at the thought of it. Every business that spends $600 or more with anyone person or other business must now 1099 them. Here's the details, but worry not, this will be repealed before it goes into effect.

Speaking of government health care, the FDA says no problem that there are pig viruses in these vaccines. Give 'em to the infants anyway, even though the likelihood of getting the disease they're supposed to prevent is unlikely in America.

More on the Supreme Court basing decisions on what other countries think. The decision we talked about yesterday is even worse than it sounded. Justices are quoting UN Treaties we haven't signed, and hopefully never will. No decision from the high court on "must carry" because they won't hear the case. That lets stand a lower court ruling that cable companies still must carry local broadcast stations. Good, though it's hard to be sympathetic to a broadcast station that's home shopping. More on Elena Kagan who hopefully will never grace the bench with the Supremes-- she thinks it's OK if the government bans books.

The big financial meltdown we've long been expecting will be at hand if the derivatives market collapses. $600 trillion on those bets-- and that's all they are.

Britain's Lord Monckton calls to indict the world's top global warming guy. I second that emotion. Speaking of the UK, 20 percent of kids there don't know where they live-- not like finding the country on a map, they don't know what their address is or how to find their way home.

TUESDAY MAY 18, 2010 2:01 AM (PT) Dueling headlines produce irony: Obama signs Freedom Of The Press Act. Google stifles Obama's social security story. Busting the myth of the free press goes way back-- in 1969, Walter Cronkite showed his bias by directly aiding Viet Nam protesters.

More Obamacare fall out: hospitals owned by doctors, the ones that have been cutting costs and bureaucracy, saving patients a small fortune- they're out. Obama's aunt, meanwhile is in. Asylum granted. No wonder 2/3rds of Americans want to boot their legislators, regardless of party affiliation, according to this poll.

The Supreme Court says it's OK to jail sex offenders forever-- even if state statute doesn't call for it. On the other hand, it also rules that juvenile's can't get life without parole in non-murder cases. The outrage there is the decision is based in part upon world opinion.

Kagan's confirmation could be rocky (god I hope so) says top republican on on the Judiciary Committee. But a filibuster is unlikely. Joe Farah suggests a spine transplant. Kagan, who thinks that banning free speech when it's offensive to society or government is acceptable-- also thinks flag burning is OK. See the disconnect here?

Elections today-- may Rand Paul win in Kentucky and Arlen Specter lose in Pennsylvania. We'll talk about it tonight!

SATURDAY MAY 15, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Bumper Stumpers and Friday Night Trivia answers are up. (Look for them under Music and Trivia to your left.) The show will replay on the stream and be available for download at MyStreamingServer.com all weekend. Talk to you Monday!

FRIDAY MAY 14, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Trivia tonight, 3 big hours. I'm ready for you, so do call!

April marked the 19th straight monthly deficit and quite a jump from last year at this time. For one thing 43 of the last 56 years saw April posting a surplus. This time, it's a deficit that's more than twice Wall Street estimates. For the month, we're in the hole by $82.69 billion. Yes you should be worried. And judging by your calls, you are.

9 workers accused of accessing Obama's student loan data. They might be fined $100,000 each and spend a year in jail. It's a bet they didn't discover anything either, or we would've heard about it long ago. Lt. Col. Terry Lakin would be particularly interested. He's the military doctor who refused orders until Obama's fitness as commander in chief would be proven. He's got a hearing date-- June 11th. Hopefully he'll be granted discovery. Wouldn't that be fascinating?

I hope Sen. Dick Durbin is right. Much to his disappointment and our elation, he says the immigration bill is dead, at least for this year. Meanwhile Sen. James Inhofe says the climate change bill is DOA. I pray that he's right too. Likewise I ask for celestial help in defeating Elena Kagan, though it looks like I won't need it. She's beyond liberal. Her hero is the most liberal activist judge in the world. That's right, world. No shock she's not in favor of gun rights, but maybe it's more surprising that now she's arguing against her own opinions from decades ago.

Another small town makes English it's official language. May it set a mega precedent and catch on big time.

THURSDAY MAY 12, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Obama complains about the media but does he manipulate it? OK, thats like asking if a bear sleeps in the woods. Reporters are less than pleased at the White House's decision to post an interview with Elena Kagan rather than allow access to her with questions. I guess Obama's ilk also decided that you shouldn't be able to search the stories about his specious social security number. Google of course is not copping to that. They call it 'a bug in the snippets.'

Notice that Nashville isn't getting much coverage for it's devastating flood? Here's 10 reasons why. No reason given for why Obama advisors like Valerie Jarrett get limos traditionally reserved for national security officials.

Harry Reid says the climate bill's success rests on the GOP. Now we'll see if Republicans are what they claim to be. If they do anything but kill this, it's a good idea to kill them in November in favor of anyone-- a guy out of the phone book will be fine. Maybe the Republicans will rise to the occasion-- they're starting to feel the pressure. Here's more on the horror of this bill.

Who thinks it's a good idea to deny high school girls who worked hard to win a championship and to raise the money to go to Arizona to compete nationally, from the trip.. because of the Arizona illegal immigration law, of course? Chicago style politics or just a bad decision? The two referendums in Arizona against the law have been dropped, logistics mostly. Los Angeles starts a boycott against Arizona over the law.

Could be worse. It was for this family. All killed when their home fell into a sinkhole. Change of heart: Pope says church is to blame for its scandals. Muslims aren't as gracious. They still want to kill this cartoonist. Think Greece's problems won't be duplicated here? We're on our way. Don't drown yourself in a sugared soft drink. It might kill your pancreas. Lieberman's insane citizen stripping bill. That's enough for now.

WEDNESDAY MAY 12, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) We talked with Jerry Corsi earlier tonight. If you missed the interview, it'll be on the stream until tonight's show and downloadable for a while at MyStreamingServer.com. If you haven't read The Shroud Codex, click on it for a good price from Amazon. It's a great read.

We also talked about the latest Obama mystery-- his social security number. The one that was issued in Connecticut in the latter '70s. The one that corresponds to his draft registration. The only problem is there's no reason to think Obama was anywhere near Connecticut as a kid. Oh and one other problem, the number was originally issued to an 86 year old woman.

Now the figures roll in. Obamacare will cost $115 billion more than expected. Over 20 states signed on to Florida's lawsuit against the plan. Great news if it works, but if not, the bad news is that states rights will forever be obliterated. Excellent news-- 28 year House vet from West Virginia, ousted in the primaries in large part for his yes vote.

Unemployed prefer benefits to jobs. And this is news because...? Audit the Fed bill passed the Senate... except it's barely a shred of Ron Paul's original text. For all the good it'll do, here it is. "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you takes on really new meaning when you read about a census worker who beat and raped a respondent. I'm sure it wasn't in the manual. Not even for Compliance Plan B.

TUESDAY MAY 11, 2010 7:30 PM (PT) We're talking with Jerome Corsi right now. He's released his first novel, "The Shroud Codex." It's a great read and will make you think. (Click on it for a good price from Amazon.) We'll also get back to reality and take your calls. Check out Jerry's Red Alert Newsletter, as well as many of his other books (all available on the Links page).

TUESDAY MAY 11, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Cap &Trade is back this week in the Senate. It will NOT do anything for the environment, in case you think the environment is in need of doing. However it's guaranteed to kill your bank account. Here's info on which republicans are likely to cave. Read it and weep. Then sit on your senators.

Check out Keri's BanksterReport.blogspot.com for a list of the pro-Tarp senators who are up for reelection this year. Support their opponents. Also check out Dick Kulpa's iudexonline.com. It's always good to laugh. Good account of the oil rig explosion from the workers on it. Not the full story but interesting to read. Want something to worry about? A cyber attack could do us in and we are absolutely not prepared for anything of the sort.

Obama bemoans the diversions caused iPods, and everything internet. Read this and see what he's really worried about is American's finding out what's really going on quickly and effectively. Could there possibly be a worse nominee for the supreme court than Elena Kagan. Check out her take on the first amendment-- it's expendable when we're talking about offensive speech. Isn't all speech offensive to someone?

The First Lady tells graduates to brace for hardship. What does she know? Maybe that 20% of high school aged kids are illiterate. These figures are from the UK but it's no better here. The big problem is that jobs no longer exist for these folks. So that's an automatic perpetual 20% unemployment rate. Lena Horne rests in peace. Probably the first peace she's had in 92 years. It was a hard life, but musically we're all better off for it.

SATURDAY MAY 8, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Trivia answers and Bumper Stumpers are up under Trivia and Music to your left. Thanks for participating and thanks to Outsider for the 6 OOIDA memberships we gave away.

Talk to you Monday!

FRIDAY MAY 7, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) Three big hours of trivia tonight. I'll be waiting for your call with prizes to bribe you for playing. We talked with Steve Kates last night, "Dr. Sky," about the sky-- and the ground in Arizona which is overrun by illegals. Check out Steve's CallToRights.com and DrSky.tv. If you missed the hour, it's up at MyStreamingServer.com for download, and it will also replay until tonight's show on the stream.

We also talked with Jeff Crouere about oil and water. New Orleans residents are as disgusted as they should be. Check out Jeff's RingsidePolitics.com. You'll find a link to his weekday radio show on WGSO there. Hear the outrage first hand.

Remember Henry Waxman's demand for documentation from AT&T, Verizon, John Deere & Caterpillar substantiating their multi-million dollar write offs that they announced when Obamacare passed? And remember his demand that hearings be held.? The companies handed over the documentation and Waxman et al immediately cancelled any further investigation. Seems they not only substantiated their claims but proved that Obamacare will decimate the concept of employer provided health insurance. Doesn't Waxman understand the long honored tradition of never publicly asking a question to which you don't know the answer?

Then there's Janet Napolitano, the braintrust behind Homeland Security, the woman who assured us that the body scanners being installed at airports won't have enough definition to be interesting, let alone pornographic? She ought to talk with the guy in Miami who was arrested for beating a TSA worker that joked about his small manhood based upon the no doubts left scan.

So the Senate is closer to embracing the 'audit the fed bill'? Not quite. Commie Bernie Sanders has watered it down to a single audit of the Fed's use of emergency lending authority since 2007. Like that matters. Though it must, at least a little as Ben Bernanke is howling over even that.

5 kids wear designer teeshirts featuring the American flag to school on Cinco de Mayo. 5 kids suspended. This is not OK. Fortunately the school board is on the side of the kids not the high school administrators.

The FCC has found another way to implement Net Neutrality. Anyone (like most conservative talking heads) who oppose network neutrality fail to understand what it is. It simply says that providers must treat all traffic equally. That means whether you want to go to rollye.net or NBC, you'll get there at the same speed. And whether you want to download a file from my site or one comcast controls, you'll be able to do it equally fast. There is no downside to this. For hosts who somehow think it means the Obama administration will be controlling internet content, I've got news; the government can control it any time they want to-- but it's easier for them to control half a dozen big companies who can differentiate between packets and sell it to the public as a marketplace decision, than it is to come down on millions of users.

THURSDAY MAY 6, 2010 4:00 AM (PT) So, did military spy planes track the Times Square car bomber? If you saw an early report, you'd say yes. Interesting how it's disappeared from the net, especially since the source was CBS. The explanation doesn't work for me. Nor does it work that Mr. Shahzad was on the Homeland Security watch list since 1999-- and they deleted him in 2008. Also curious that this alleged Pakistani trained terrorist bought fireworks that couldn't blow up fruit.

And even more interesting that our government has had a written plan since 1994 on what to do in the event of an oil rig explosion, yet they had none of the provisions on hand to do it when they needed too. Horribly to know this could have been contained without a problem and we didn't do it. More horrible to think it's an excuse to stop off shore drilling. Not great to note that we exempted this very rig from an environmental study.

Open season on conservatives. President Obama uses the "tea-bagger" phrase. Think he'd refer to other groups so derisively? Maybe he has nothing to worry about with the Tea Partiers anyway-- they didn't do too well in the primaries.

Back to tea baggers, so to speak. here's a fine story about a hyporcrite. The co founder (with James Dobson) of the Family Research Counsel is known as a Christian scholar and as anti-gay as it gets. Maybe this was research. Do NOT click on this if you are offended by explicit sexual descriptions, but otherwise, here's a profile of the rentboy in question. George Rekers denies all the allegations. I've always wondered about anyone so concerned with someone else's sexuality. The 'doth protests too much' logic works for me.

WEDNESDAY MAY 5, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) It's politically incorrect to say anything untoward about anyone-- except constitutionalists. Then it's open season. Proof: Mayor Bloomberg (and many others) suggest that perhaps the Times Square would be bomber was someone upset about Obamacare. It would be funny if he wasn't an elected official.

Faisal Shahzad admits he's responsible for the failed car bomb. Here's some background on him. Here's info on exactly how he was able to get on the plane paying cash with no luggage and how we had been tailing him only to lose him before he drove to the airport, gun and ammo in car. We found him originally through his disposable cell phone-- and you think that offers you anonymity. Ha.

Think consumer spending has rebounded? Not so fast. 15 facts about China that may blow your mind.

How on god's green earth could Ballard Spahr say the Lower Merion School District didn't spy on students? Oh yeah, they're Philadelphia Lawyers. Check out the part about he school not planning to tell Blake Robbins or his parents that they were checking him out online. Also note that the tracking system was used for unknown purposes and left engaged for long periods in cases where there was no possible legitimate reason for spying on students at home. Also notice that they had over 30,500 photographs and over 27,400 screen captures.. and you tell me how they were innocent of anything? I hope Blake Robbins owns Lower Merion before this is over. All of it.

And when all else fails, try a lucky charm. This report says they work. Of course it's your belief that's doing the work, but hey, if you want a rabbit foot fine-- as long as you remember that the rabbit wasn't anyone's definition of lucky.

TUESDAY MAY 4, 2010 12:01 AM (PT) The most interesting thing about the oil rig explosion in the gulf is the coverage. Within minutes of it happening, Obama wants to rethink off shore drilling. Days later, it's pretty much out of the question. But why aren't we hearing from more of the workers on the scene? Why none of the human interest coverage that usually accompanies such stories? And while BP is right in stepping up to the plate, claiming full responsibility before an investigation is not what lawyers usually suggest, particularly when the platform is a rental.

Could it be possible that North Korea attacked it because it was built by Hundai of South Korea? This is pretty far out, but that's where you wind up when you're void of the usual coverage.

California's Henry Waxman has slipped an unrelated item into the just passed Wall Street Reform and Consumer Proctection Act, HR 4173-- it puts vitamins under the FTC and forces manufacturers to follow the FDA human trial rules. That will close many companies and substantially increase the prices of the few remaining. Waxman does not want you to escape government health care decisions and this is one way to make sure you won't have access to the many things that inexpensively and non-toxically work. It has to pass the Senate too. So let your Senators know, Vote No on HR 4173.

More eminent domain atrocities. This time its the Feds wanting a Vermont farm for no damn good reason.

SATURDAY MAY 1, 2010 12:01 AM Trivia answers and Bumper Stumpers are up under Trivia and Music to your left. Have a good weekend. Talk to you Monday night at 7 PT.
