DECEMBER 2006

THURSDAY DECEMBER 28, 2006 3:20 AM (PT) THURSDAY DECEMBER 28, 2006 3:15 AM (PT) Here's another link if you're vision impaired. It will take you to Aurora Ministries' www.audiobiblesfortheblind.org page explaining a totally free program that will get you an audio bible. Check it out. As for what's on tap tonight-- everyone knows insurance is tantamount to legalized gambling. You buy a policy because you feel you might need it. The insurance company sells it hoping you wont. And actuaries and underwriters price it like odds makers determining the line. But if you're gambling and you win, the bookie pays off. Insurance may not. Yes Virginia, illegal wagering is more honest than legal insurance. We won't even get into Katrina. Just ask thousands of Californians who bought medical policies, paid the premiums were cancelled-- as soon as they got very sick. Sickening details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 27, 2006 3:33 AM (PT) Last night we talked about a totally free program from the National Federation of the Blind for anyone visually impaired. Through your touch tone telephone you can access over 100 newspapers and magazines daily. A lot of folks are aware of it. But did you know it now includes accessing by zip code all your local and cable television listings? No more wondering what's coming on and when. If that might help you, or someone in your life, contact the NFB at 410-659-9314 or go online to www.nfb.org. My long time listener David uses it constantly and has offered to help anyone who has trouble with it. So if you've been reluctant to try it out, email me and I'll pass your on note. Often overcoming a disability is not as hard as overcoming people's impressions of anyone who isn't like them. It can be truly depressing. I'm in awe of people who persevere and carve out independent lives for themselves. This is one delightful tool that will help you do that by accessing all the information easily available to sighted folks. Don't hesitate to use it.

We also talked about hope for people with RP. If you're not aware of some of the research going on, click here. Unfortunately some folks find stem cell research controversial-- but I've yet to find anyone complaining about it who is suffering from an affliction that might be aided through it. I'm for finding anything that works in time to make a difference. (And no one is talking about forcing abortion, for instance, to get the stem cells-- the fetuses are dead either way. So this academic argument on both sides from people who have nothing to gain personally if a cure is found, leaves me cold.)

And what am I ranting about tonight? Inequality under the law. The government has released a document showing American officials knew who killed some of our diplomats abroad 33 years ago. It's bad enough the details include the fact that we could have averted it, but it gets worse. We knew exactly who ordered the killing and we had proof. This is not conjecture. So did we extradite the villain, try him, or at the very least vilify him? Nope, we invited him repeatedly to the White House and treated him as our honored guest. Of course had it been your doing, you'd be lucky to get away with life in prison. We'll talk about it tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY DECEMBER 26, 2006 12:55 AM (PT) Thanks for your calls last night. IT was great to spend Christmas with you live. Sadly we spent it mourning James Brown, though his musical legacy not only lives on through his voluminous work which is thankfully readily available, but also through virtually every musician who considered himself soulful or funky on any level. His influence is in everyone from Mick Jagger to George Clinton and I suspect that musicians who aren't even born yet will owe some of their style to The Godfather of Soul, even if they never realize it. We'll also be live next Monday night (New Year's Day) and I'm sure New Year's resolutions will come up.

Oh, speaking of New Year's resolutions, the Department of Homeland Security wants us to make one. Yes, they want us to know they're concerned about our safety. Not that they're helping. So they're asking us to make a New Year's Resolution: to be personally prepared in the event of an emergency. (What do they know that we don't?) They have pamphlets and toll free numbers so we'll be ready. Good thing since they aren't. They don't explain exactly how this will work when our borders are leaking like a sieve and we have no idea who they've released into the general population. I mean besides all those Swift arrestees who were quickly returned to freedom courtesy of the program they said they've ended. That's right, Catch and Release is more threatening to the general populous than it ever was to fishermen. No wonder they're concerned. How this won't work tonight at 10 (ET) /7 (PT).

THURSDAY DECEMBER 21, 2006 Predictions about the 2008 presidential race have the major parties spending a billion dollars on their candidates. What that means is that it will be virtually impossible for anyone outside the two party system to even remotely compete. What that also means is the end of the common man's chances for victory. It's the furthest we've gotten from the constitution and the closest we've come to a monarchy. Watching the middle class disappear tonight at 10 (ET)/ 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 20, 2006 3:00 AM (PT) Sometimes you hear things that the government is going to do and you can't believe it's real. The Terrorist Risk Score falls into that category and believe me, it's real. Any citizen leaving America for any reason as of next year will be assigned a number reflecting their likelihood of being a terrorist. They'll never be allowed to see it, let alone contest it. Considering how many people are likely to travel and how few people are likely to be terrorists, the math alone explains this disaster. But we'll calculate it for you tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY DECEMBER 19, 2006 3:00 AM (PT) A quick look at how to pay down America's several trillion dollar deficit reveals the only conclusion. Our government isn't concerned about it. Take agriculture. Our biggest cash crop brings in 35 billion untaxed dollars annually. As you might guess, it's marijuana-- outselling corn, soybeans and hay-- our biggest legal crops, and that's from government statistics. If we legalized, regulated and taxed it, we'd not only get a windfall but save a fortune in what we're spending to try to stop it. Priorities tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY DECEMBER 18, 2006 1:55 AM (PT) Power update-- after four days without it, we're back on the grid. Tonight's show will not be by candlelight. As for what we'll be discussing, well, everyone knows that if a private company ever tried a pension fund along the lines of social security, the officers would be in jail. And I'm always telling you that Social Security is what happens when Ponzi meets Marx, but now, even Ponzi would blush. Going back to that private company comparison, if America was a corporation, not only would its leaders be indicted for fraud, but the real bottom line would be irretrievable bankruptcy. Our real debt and what it means, tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 PT.

And don't forget, two more nights of your Christmas romance stories-- with extra credit if a holiday office party is involved. Best tales win Christmas Kisses Bear from Vermont Teddy Bear. Call us to win, but remember you're always a winner when you give a Vermont Teddy Bear to someone. Check out the possibilities at VermontTeddyBear.com!

THURSDAY DECEMBER 14, 2006 1:30 AM (PT) If you're an engineering student at the university of Colorado, Chevron may have a $1000 scholarship for you. It's pretty easy to obtain. All you need is a B average and a good essay. Not about math or science, no academic exposure at all. It's all about your volunteer work. But not any volunteer work. Chevron wants you to describe your involvement with the gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender community. That says it all, but you may say more tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY DECEMBER 12, 2006 7:30 PM (PT) I think I've found a full copy of Aaron Russo's America:Freedom to Fascism. If I'm right, here's a link that should work.

In 37 days border patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean will begin decade long sentences for doing their jobs. The illegal alien drug smuggler involved got full immunity to testify against them. It's beyond a travesty. Fortunately some congressmen have taken up the cause and are imploring the president to issue a pardon. It would help if you'd call the White House and express your desire that the Agents Ramos and Compean be pardoned. 202-456-1111. And sign a petition that's going to the president here.

Looking for an easy Christmas gift to buy that the recipient will think you went to a lot of time and effort to select? It's a PajamaGram! PajamaGram.com has over 100 Pajamas, night gowns, robes, slippers and evertyhing you'd find in the lingerie department without having to actually go there-- or anywhere else. Whatever mood you're trying to convey from sexy to comfy, formal to whimsical, it's there. And remember to tell them Rollye sent ya.

Then there's Vermont Teddy Bear-- you can order a great bear for Christmas which is the perfect gift for someone who has everything. These bears are so personalized that they'll reflect even the most unique character. See them for yourself at VermontTeddyBear.com.

OK, OK, so you're reading to find out what's on my mind for tonight's show. Here it is: There's been talk of a new currency, the Amero replacing the dollar and peso in North America. But many people can't figure how American's would ever go along with that. The answer is chillingly simple. All that has to happen is a devaluation of the dollar to the point Americans are hurting financially. And that's no longer a rhetorical statement. When you find out why the Fed stopped releasing some monetary data earlier this year, it will all come together. We'll tell you and then add it all up tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY DECEMBER 12, 2006 2:30 AM (PT) The police are always looking for new ways to prevent crime. Now the senior homicide investigator in England thinks he's on to something-- collect and save the DNA of every newborn. Many detectives have dreamed of such a database which would obviously be a great help in crime solving, but this guy takes it a step further. He thinks we should do it because criminals would be unlikely to commit a crime if they knew they'd be found out. And he's the top investigator? It gets worse. Find out how tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY DECEMBER 11, 2006 1:10 AM (ET) The dollar is facing imminent collapse, the democrats are meeting with Hamas, the Bush administration is talking to Al-Quaida allies and you know things are really out of whack when the United Nations sees the light on Global Warming. When it comes to emissions, there's a new C word. Cars are no longer the issue. It's cows and their gaseous nature.. Just wait until we start hearing about cattle feed regulation and RFID requirements. Government as usual tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

THURSDAY DECEMBER 7, 2006 12:15 AM (PT) There's a lot of outrage about the planned NASCO super corridor. Now comes word that RFID sensors will be tracking everything on it. And considering that most of those North American Free Trade Agreement items actually come from China, it's probably not going to be a shock that it will be China doing the cargo monitoring, through Hutchinson Whampoa, the Chinese company that owns some of our ports. Of course the sensors reportedly are through a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin. True enough but guess who owns the subsidiary? Details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 6, 2006 1:45 AM (PT) In America, everyone has freedom of religion. And there's a strong separation between faith and state. Why the history lesson? it's about to be challenged when the first Muslim enters congress next month. While many are focused on his request to swear in on the Koran they should take a look at the groups he's affiliated with that preach Islamic law trumps any nation's laws especially ours, which he's soon to be making as a legislator. Hard questions, with easy answers America will ignore but we won't, tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY DECEMBER 5, 2006 2:15 AM (PT) When a local tv newscast shows a family burned out of their home, with no where to go and help from the Red Cross running out, as they implore viewers to donate, should they mention that this family-- all 13 of them, are illegal aliens? For many, it may not matter, but is that fact important? Let me add that the television station in question, the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach has a history of omitting that fact, like when an illegal killed a popular school principle. What's news? We'll tell the whole story tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY DECEMBER 4, 2006 1:15 AM (PT) Everyone knows about wiretapping, and most people have an understanding of how the government can be listening in. But now it turns out you don't have to be on the phone for feds to hear you-- or anyone nearby. Your cell phone can act as a micrcophone and transmitter, even when it's turned off. The software that can convert it can be installed remotely without your knowledge. This is not a theory. Find out what's already being done-- and to whom tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

FRIDAY DECEMBER 1, 2006 12:01 AM (PT) We'll start the month off right with trivia and...The Captain & Tennille. If you only know them from their high ranking for Muscrat Love on The World's Worst Hit Records, you're missing a lot of hits, some misses and a fascinating career apart from the records that beara their names. For instance, did you know Toni Tennille sung back up on Pink Floyd's The Wall? Did you know Daryl's dad was even more famous than he has been, at least among classical music fans. And yes, Dragon is his last name. (Dad Carmen Dragon was the legendary conductor of the LA Symphony.) We'll get into all that and a lot more but if you want to do some preshow reading, here are some links.

Info on their new Christmas CD is available here.
The official C&T website is here. (Check out Toni's blog too-- good stuff.)
Toni's site is here.
And if you're wondering what Captain does with his off time, check out his vision, SurferzRule.com here.

NOVEMBER 2006

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 30, 2006 12:15 AM (PT) Quick, fill in the blank. One out of every 32 Americans is what? I bet you didn't say in jail, on parole or on probation, but if you had, you'd be right. 7 million people. And as you can guess, that shocking figure is courtesy of the drug war. it's the single reason for the rise in female inmates and accounts for half of the rise in males. And we're talking non-violent offenses putting people away for a long long time. We'll talk about what's wrong with this picture tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 29, 2006 12:01 AM (PT) The prizes are in their stamped envelopes and there's a strong rumor they'll make their way to an American Post Office tomorrow. This means if you've won anyting between August 14th and now, you'll be getting your package soon. If it doesn't arrive by Christmas, let us know and we'll check our list twice, so to speak in the holiday tradition.

We welcome a new streaming station-- www.wpul1590.com Daytona Beach now streams us from 2-6 AM (ET). So if you're up late, or just want to hear me again, here's another chance. This of course begs the 'where is your stream Rollye?' question. Apologies for that. It's down again. But it's on the radar to do something about soon. (Sounds almost governmental, doesn't it? --I'll move faster than congress I promise.) I'll keep you updated on our progress.

As for tonight, after September 11th, things changed. We got the Patriot Act and other precautionary measures. Now never mind that those things can be used against us non-terrorists, let's focus on their intent. If you're taking any solace we're more on guard, hear this: since 9-11 America has knowingly released over 45,000 terrorists from countries known for sponsoring such behavior, into the general population here. All the details tonight at 10 (ET)/7 (PT).

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2006 2:00 AM (PT) Going to Germany or Austria for Christmas? Don't expect to see Santa. Santa Claus is officially banned, in part they say because he's the invention of Coca Cola. As insane as that sounds, it's worse close to home. The Chicago Christmas Fair forbids the film Nativity because it's about Jesus' birth and might offend non-Christains. Which Implies Christmas in Chicago is not about the birth of Jesus. Tis the season to be crazy. So crazy we'll be tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2006 2:45 AM (ET) Libel laws are as old as our judiciary. You can't defame someone with lies. But what happens when that someone is a public official and that information is true, or more importantly if your a journalist researching a public official and come across information you sincerely believe is true? That used to be called news and there used to be well known grandfathered exceptions for the press and public people. Not anymore. Justice imperiled tonight at 10. Don't forget The Rollye James I Hate The Holidays Club is officially open and holding meetings every weeknight 10 to 1 (ET). Kindred spirits are hereby recruited.

However if you're inclined to want to hear holiday music, you might like to know that the classic "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas" has been redone. And nicely by the Captain and Tennille. It's on a new CD with several Christmas goodies and you can order it here.

Don't hear the show live, but want to play trivia anyway? Questions are up under 'She Said What' to your left. Check it out.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 23, 2006 10:35 PM (PT) So you want to know how the World's Worst Hit Records 2006 came out?

#10 – There’s a special hell for Christmas Songs.  Contenders included such gems as Happy Christmas by John Lennon,  Wonderful Christmas time by Paul & Linda McCartney, Jingle Bells by the Singing Dogs, but the winner, which happens to be the #10 World’s Worst Hit Record as voted on by you was Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer by Elmo & Patsy There are some things you should know about these people.  For one thing, Elmo is a veterinarian which tells me he was probably rooting for the reindeer. For another, they divorced in ’85, and anyone might suspect that this record contributed to the disharmony since it clearly contributed to the listeners’.  The thing was recorded in ’79, re-released in ’82 and might have gone on to obscurity, God willing, if it weren’t for 1983 when it went to #1.  Worse yet, it was #1 again in ’84, and broke the Hot 100 in ’98.   Far too long for any song, let alone this one.

#9 – It was Funny the first time.  Contenders included Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley, Witch Doctor by David Seville, Disco Duck by Rick Dees and My Ding A Ling by Chuck Berry. The latter was a near miss to the top 10 and a true disgrace.  Of all the great records Chuck Berry had, it’s a sad note that his only #1 song on the Hot 100 chart was this, a remake of Dave Bartholomew’s Toy Bell.  But I digress.  The song you voted as #9 was They’re Coming To Take Me Away by Napoleon XIV.

#8 – It was never cute.  So many songs, thankfully not enough time.  Everything from Yummy Yummy Yummy by the Ohio Express to the song you vote as #8:  Muscrat Love by The Captain and Tennille.

#7 – Sap is for soap operas.  Any theme from a sinking boat is bad news. And thank you Very Very much for not voting in My Heart Will Go On, Celine Dion’s disaster from the Titanic, but long before that sinking, we were sunk with Maureen McGovern’s The Morning After.  Fortunately you didn’t force it into the top 10 either.  We narrowly missed Mechanized Death though Teen Angel by Mark Dinning and Last Kiss by J. Frank Wilson did get votes.  Then there was Laurie by Dickie Lee who returns from the dead, but all pales by a close runner up to the top ten:  Seasons In The Sun by Terry Jacks.  The winner however, #7 as voted on by you, true death on a spindle with Honey by Bobby Goldsboro.

#6 – Don’t act like a child – even if you are a child.  There was a dearth of votes this year for child stars, though the soliloquy in Patty Duke’s Don’t Just Stand There did deserve honorable mention, but in this case it was an adult acting like a child that came in at #6 on your list of the World’s Worst Hit Records, Brand New Key by Melanie.

#5 – Don’t act like an idiot.  You weren’t too keen on Me And My Arrow by Nilsson but enough of youhated Randy Newman’s Short People to bring it close to the top 10.  Coming in at #5 however is an effort that would make Sascha Baron Cohen proud—Bobby McFerrin’s Don’t Worry Be Happy

#4 – Sincerity kills.  I can most sincerely tell you this is the category that causes me to lunge for the radio dial.  Anything by Celine Dion causes me pain.  Thank you again for not voting her into the top 10.   You also didn’t like Olivia Newton John’s I Honestly Love You, and I’m with you there.  I’m more ambivalent about Charlene’s I’ve Never Been To Me, though you collectively do seem to mind it.  Close runners up to the top 10 included Minnie Riperton’s Lovin’ You and Morris Albert’s Feelings.  But coming in at #4 is the song I’d vote for #1 (but I don’t vote—this is your poll): You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone.

#3 – If it’s longer than 3 minutes you may not want to hear it.  Probably good advice.  Vote getters included The Beatles’ Hey Jude (very controversial—people love it or hate it—count me in ‘hate’), Gordon Lightfoot’s The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and a very strong #3 on your list of the World’s Worst Hit Records- Richard Harris’ MacArthur Park.

#2 – If it inspired a dance, you’re in trouble  And if it’s a line dance it better be the Locomotion. And it better not be tryin to be cute. And I actually like it, but most of you disagree as #2 is  Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus.

#1 – The only one not in on the joke was the singer  By a wide margin, the #1 song on the World’s Worst Hit Records lists 2006 according to your votes… Tiptoe Through The Tulips by Tiny Tim.

Rather see it as a list?

1. Tiptoe Through The Tulips - Tiny Tim (1968)
2. Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus (1992)
3. MacArthur Park - Richard Harris (1968)
4. You Light Up My Life - Debby Boone (1977)
5. Don't Worry Be Happy - Bobby McFerrin (1988)
6. Brand New Key - Melane (1971)
7. Honey - Bobby Goldsboro (1968)
8. Muscrat Love - Captain & Tennille (1976)
9. They're Coming To Take Me Away - Napoleon XIV (1966)
10. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer - Elmo & Patsy (1983)

Near misses included (in order):

The Night Chicago Died - Paper Lace
My Ding A Ling - Chuck Berry
Seasons In The Sun - Terry Jacks
Short People - Randy Newman
Feelings - Morris Albert
Lovin' You - Minnie Riperton

We'll do trivia tomorrow night and of course it's officially open: The Rollye James' I Hate The Holidays Club. Kindred spirits always welcome. Talk to you at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT). Till then, congratulations for surviving Thanksgiving!

THANKSGIVING 2006 2:22 AM (PT) It's Thanksgiving-- time for turkey. And we've got nothing if not turkeys. Yes, it's the World's Worst Hit Records as voted on by you, 2006 edition. And we've got some surprised, well I was surprised anyway-- not at what you voted for, but what you didn't vote for-- so if you're sick of the family by the time I'm on the air, or want company as you clean the kitchen, we'll take your calls and count 'em down tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT). Here's hoping that today is the start of a joyous holiday season. On the other hand, if you're a charter member, or wanting to join, the Rollye James I Hate the Holidays Club officially opens today. Commiserate tonight.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 22, 2006 1:20 AM (PT)Last night to vote on the World's Worst Hit Records, and I'd love it if you'd do that. We've got a big tie in the top 10 so far and I'm counting on you to break it. (No I won't tell you what's up there-- don't want to influence your vote.) it's also the last night for your Thanksgiving tradition stories. The worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) will win Turkey Bear from VermontTeddyBear.com. They make wonderful holiday gifts. Check 'em out!

As for a topic tonight.. you've heard how bad it was in Nazi Germany. You know what happened when an SS officer said "your papers please" and you didn't show them. Well here today in America, there's no more please. It's more like your papers or your life. At least it was for one 23 year old UCLA student working in the library who refused when asked to show his ID. There's probably a manual on how to handle that. I doubt it said 'taser him repeatedly until he's pulp and then drag him out' but that's what they did. Details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2006 2:30 AM (PT) 35 million Americans worry about from where their next meal is coming. 11 million are constantly looking for food. That used to be called hungry. Not any more. We talked about the government rewriting history be removing Christian influences. But now they're rewriting the present. The USDA used to say people went hungry. Last year, they referred to those 11 million as people having "food insecurity with hunger'. This year they're people with "very low food security". Orwell and Vonnegut only thought they were writing fiction. Facts tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2006 2:15 AM (ET) Charlie Rangel, democrat house member from New York who says a lot of stupid things, is now saying he wants to bring back the draft. Most would say that's just another stupid thing, but he continues, it's a way to lessen the chances we'll engage in wars like Iraq. Of course other members in congress see it as a staffing advantage. The new session is still months off but the plans are a comin' with no shortage of insanity. Details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT). Sorry trivia questions aren't up yet. I'll explain the delay (if you missed Friday's show) probably tomorrow. Considering more bed rest now. (I'll explain that too.)

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 16, 2006 12:30 AM (PT) If you're reading this right now, you've probably gone to rollye.com or mediatrix.net. rollye.net has not been active for reasons to boring to explain. But if you are reading this on rollye.net, we're back. Good deal. As soon as rollye.net is up email will work again, which is to say if you sent anything in the last day or so, you'd better resend it once we're back. Sorry 'bout that. Speaking of email, I'm still about 9,000 behind, so be patient. (I won't always answer, but I'll do my best if it's the first time you're writing. Ok now, as for tonight:

When you don't like your past, reinvent yourself. Sometimes it works with individuals. It's harder to pull it off with countries, but that won't stop liberal revisionists from trying. Moses is not carrying the 10 commandments on the supreme court wall, he's displaying the bill of rights says one tour guide. The first settlers didn't want religious freedom, they came here solely to make money, says another. Half truths, lies and fiction tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2006 1:05 AM (PT) The American dream has always included home ownership. But now it's more like a nightmare for Americans to learn that our own government, through the FDIC, is encouraging banks to make that dream a reality for illegals here too. In other words, a board of five people appointed by our president is promoting programs that would aide people who break our laws. One banker taking them up on it is bragging the government gave him the idea. Doom tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

Don't forget, we're still voting on the World's Worst Hit Records. Call in during the show between now and next Wednesday and spew forth your choice. We'll play the top ten on Thanksgiving night.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, we're giving away Turkey Bear. He's an authentic Vermont Teddy Bear (click on it to check out some great bears that make wonderful gifts). All you have to do is tell me about the oddest Thanksgiving tradition you've encountered. You might want to focus on the strangest food dish that some poor soul insists on bringing. You know the kind-- one look and you're thinking 'Is somebody really gonna eat that' as you smile to Aunt Bertha and say, 'Jello Surprise, my favorite!' I have night mares of cranberry molds. You know the ones-- where you have no idea what that hard item is you just bit down on as the rest of it slithers down your throat. You'll top that, I'm sure. And if you're thinking about bringing something yourself, do someone a favor-- get a bear!

Finally, thanks to Mike and Barb who have put together a website that includes links to things about which you'll want to know. Like HR 6294. A bill that would give children born here the same status as their mother. Maybe a long shot in this congress, but it's an idea long overdue. Check out their site here.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2006 12:10 AM (PT) Five college kids had a class assignment near Seattle to attend a Maria Cantwell rally. The rally was on the campus and was advertised as open to all. So the five kids showed up. In teeshirts for her republican opponent. They were thrown out. And Ms. Cantwell backs that decision saying even though it was a public rally on a school campus, her campaign should have the right to exclude anyone. The kids say it's 1st Amendment violation. Details of the lawsuit tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY NOVEMBER 13, 2006 2:30 AM (PT) Most people think ghosts are for halloween, funny movies, scary movies-- all fiction. That is until the inexplicable happens in their homes. The unexplained activity that can only be happening by something unseen. Then they try to tell someone about it and get those condescending, 'you need therapy' looks. If that's you, take heart, you are not crazy. Ghosts are very real. MaryAnn ghostbuster talks to them. And now she talks to you tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT). In the meantime check out www.maryannghostbuster.com now.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2006 7:00 PM (PT) We'll be talking to Else Baumbartner in minutes-- and if you haven't heard her story, get ready to have your world rocked if you even remotely believe the government is here to help you. The courts in particular. I wouldn't have even know about this injustice if it weren't for the tireless work of June Maxam. If you haven't read northcountrygazette.org yet, you should. Click on it.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2006 1:10 AM (PT) Think whistleblowers have protection? Then you better hear the story of Else Baumgartner. She went public with information on corruption. Instead of her charges being investigated, she was. As things devolved she uncovered more, and that wound her up disbarred and in jail. The charges include things like stealing her own car. Some of what she alleged has been proven true, but instead of vindication, she's now facing 109 years in jail. Hear how this is possible in America tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 8, 2006 12:45 AM (PT) What happens when the supreme court rules on a matter and then a state votes to abandon the decision? We're about to find out as the only thing close to a clean sweep in Tuesday's elections centered on a proposition on the ballot in 12 states about eminent domain. The supreme court ruled a land taking could occur for virtually any economic reason. Now that citizens have voted that out, what happens when one of those states tries such a seizure? Who wins-- the voters or the Supreme Court? Well talk about it tonight at 10 (ET) 7 (PT).

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2006 2:14 AM (PT) ELECTION DAY When victors are celebrating, will losers be blaming electronic voting? That's like asking does a bear live in the woods. And equally certain is losers will have every reason to doubt the results. So will winners, but they won't talk about that. What happens when elections are held but the results are questionable? We might find out tonight-- that is if enough citizens understand what's wrong with electronic voting. And there's a long list. We'll cover the fallout tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

Speaking of elections, the voting for our annual poll of the World's Worst Hit Records is underway. You've got until Thanksgiving Eve to cast your vote (and yes, email counts). It's a cumulative top 10, so if someone else voted for it and you can't stand it, feel free to vote for it too. All we ask is that the records be Hits. Any chart-- country, soul, pop. But bonafide hits. We'll compile 'em and play back the top ten Thanksgiving night. So if you're sick of turkey or relatives, we'll be live talking to you as usual on Thanksgiving.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2006 11:40 PM (PT) A lot of people are predicting the results of tomorrow's elections. Of course no one can no for sure. That's usual. What's not usual is that on Wednesday and later, no one will no for sure. Electronic voting is an unmitigated disaster. From unintentional programming glitches, to back doors available to the unscrupulous, to, on some machines, a button that allows for multiple votes, the concept itself is flawed. Are elections free when no one can truly determine a winner? More Monday at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2006 11:55 PM (PT) The email qeustions are up for those who qualify. Click on "She Said What" to your left and good luck.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2006 9:03 PM (PT) A couple more links for you. Dr. Jerome Corsi's latest article with lots of links is here. And the petition to stop the loss of our sovereignty is here.

THURSDAY NOVEBMER 2, 2006 6:54 PM (PT) Jerome Corsi joins me in a few minutes. If you want to see the 1000 pages obtained through an FOIA request, proving there's a lot the government isn't telling us publicly, click here.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2006 1:20 AM (PT) Homeland Security says we can't control the border without a massive guest worker program. Oh really? Then why is it that illegals were running out of a Pennsylvania town before a real law against them took effect-- well would have taken effect if a federal judge had not stopped it. Seems like our government doesn't want to secure our borders, doesn't it. With over a thousand pages of government documents, Jerome Corsi will prove that's the case tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2006 12:20 AM (PT) Imagine bringing up the misdeeds of a public official and instead of an investigation of him, you're arrested for mentioning it. And imagine enraging officials to the point that they arrest you again and again-- for things like stealing your own car. Even if what you're bringing up is bogus, does that warrant a raid on your home to see if you have expired prescriptions that might be used against you for drugs charges? Think it doesn't happen? Hear it first hand from Else Baumgartner tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

OCTOBER 2006

TUESDAY OCTOBER 31, 2006 1:20 AM (PT) Tonight is all about tricks and treats. A week from now, will it be solely tricks? Election day is a week off, electronic voting machines are still questionable, most states have not properly vetted their registration lists-- like New York with 77,000 registered dead people and counting. Speaking of the dead, it's the last night for your tales of encounters with them, in ghostly form. Best story wins prizes, which is more assured than what the winner's next week might get. Lots of horrors, halloween and otherwise tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY OCTOBER 30, 2006 12:20 AM (ET) If you haven't been worried about the glitches in our electronic voting machines which will be used next week, I'll change your mind. Remember a few years back when there was a referendum on whether Chavez should stay or go as President of Venezuela? Well the unknown company with little known ties to the government that got the contract for the voting machine technology just before that election is now a leading manufacturer of our machines here in the US. Details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

THURSDAY OCTOBER 26, 2006 1:45 AM (PT) Do you know the words to God Bless America? Well Spanish speaking prisoners in Maricopa County Arizona soon will. It's part of their mandatory English lessons. Sheriff Joe has 10,000 prisoners, a third of which speak no English but that's about to change. 1,000 by the way are here illegally. Find out what's in the curriculum and keep those ghost stories coming too--tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 25, 2006 1:15 AM (ET) So there you were, talking to an old friend--except the old friend was no longer living. A Ghost. Or perhaps you encountered someone who needed your help only to find out they needed anybody's help 30 years ago-- when they were alive. Another ghost. Or maybe it was a phone call from the no so dearly departed. Whatever it was, your encounter with the formerly alive may win you Bewitching Bear from Vermont Teddy Bear tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT). If you'd like to order a bear for Halloween (a lot better than candy!), check out VermontTeddyBear.com and tell 'em Rollye sent you. Thanks!

TUESDAY OCTOBER 24, 2006 1:40 AM (PT) Most Americans who have heard about the two border patrol agents jailed for a dozen years-- for doing their jobs while the drug runner they shot was given full immunity and while waiting to testify against them, was picked up again entering the country illegally with a load of drugs, and given more immunity-- are outraged. They'll be furious over the White House saying that pardoning them is nonsensical. And apoplectic if Bush doesn't sign the Secure Fence Act, which he may not. More tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

SUNDAY OCTOBER 22, 2006 11:30 PM (PT) Omaha police are urging residents to call 911 if they spot a crime. However in this case the crime to which they're referring is smoking on a city street which is against a new ordinance. Sanity prevailed with the local emergency director who said, whatever you do, don't call 911. Then there's Bradenton Florida where the police have a form. Sign it and lose your property without the right to reclaim it in court. Wait til you hear how much they've collected, tomorrow night at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT). Email questions are up for Trivia players eligible. Click on "She Said What" to your left.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 19, 2006 1:30 AM (PT) Most people worry about retirement-- specifically whether they'll ever have enough money to be able to do it. At 20 it's not an issue, nor at 30, even at 40 it's far off. But what if you're 55, making a good living, but on balance don't have a dime in savings to your name. A lot of people fit that profile, and according to one guy, it's still doable. So I've asked him to join me tonight and explain exactly how. Find out tonight at 10. His name is Steve Weisman. He's a lawyer in Boston with a few books to his credit, the latest being "Boomer or Bust". Click on it to check it out (great price too).

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 18, 2006 5:55 PM (PT) We talked about immortality last night. Not the immorality of gambling, which is a judgement call I won't make. But the immorality of sneaking a provision into the SAFE bill (which protects ports) that outlaws virtually any money transfer (credit cards, wires, checks, etc.) of funds from a US citizen to any offshore or internet gaming site) is indisputable. It's a bill that didn't pass on it's own, so to "protect" you from yourself, it's been inserted in an unrelated bill. The concept that the government should, let alone can, protect you from yourself is enough to make any libertarian sick, but it's much more nauseating than that. The truth is that the political forces behind the bill received much in the way of political contributions from entities that stood to gain from it. Entities that had no interest in protecting you from anyone. Want to know more? Watch this video now. It's from the folks at APCW.org, and clearly they have an interest in this too. But their interest is stated an open. The politicians have not been as forthright. Do I know it's absolutely accurate? No, I'm taking it on face value and the APCW is responsible for the content, but I do know if you have any doubts, every bit of it is fact checkable. Go to it, if you like.

What I do know is that if the esteemed politicians' interest had been to protect you, there are several things they could have done ohter than to ban your ability to gamble online. How about a set of rules which would fully disclose everything the player needed to know about each site including location, principals, and a host of other info that might be useful in making a decision on whether to game there? I'm all for disclosure and laws that underscore your right to know and access all relevant info. But nothing like that is anywhere in this bill. The video shoots down the 'its for the children' concept nicely so I won't even go there. For full disclosure, I'm a woman who lived in Las Vegas and never put a quarter of my own into a slot machine. So I'm not about to partake in this activity. However, I don't feel that I-- or the government-- have any right to tell you that you can not do so. It's not about whether you like gambling. It's about whether you like freedom.

While we're on the subject of liberty, I have a real problem with the concept of registered sex offenders, as the program is now conducted. Even as I write the, I can hear the gasps of horror from many folks. When it comes to what we think of as a sexual offender-- those commiting forcible rape, sexual violence against children and every other atrocity you can imagine, of course we do not want such predators in our midst. How to handle that is a real and appropriate question. But the sexual offenders database makes a mockery of such heinous crimes by including such benign action as 'urinating in public' (obviously a problem should someone be urinating on another or in the middle of a busy intersection-- though I'm not sure it's a sexual offense in any case, but an emergency relief by an untraveled route, is hardly the thing that brings sexual terror to mind), or lumping the untold number of people who 'didn't know she was 14' before a kiss or more, in with serial child abusers.

Given the scope of this database, is there anyone who truly believes it's to protect the general public from anything? We'll talk about what it really is-- which is not much different than the stigma of 'dead beat dad' hung on millions of people who have fallen victim to the insanity of our federal child support laws. To bring this back to internet gaming prohibitions-- none of it could be happening without a hearty dose of emotional thinking which leaves reason in the dust.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 18, 2006 2:15 AM (ET) Too early to call the upcoming elections, but the latest polls show some good news-- voters are not much concerned about Mark Foley and other scandals. In fact, finally they're not motivated by abortion or gay rights. The bad news, is they've got more personal concerns-- like economic survival... which raises DeToucqueville's great quote-- as soon as people realize they can vote on their own entitlements, our system of government is lost. Here more tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY OCTOBER 17, 2006 12:05 AM (PT) Here's a quote direct from the White House about why more illegals are not being deported. "When you have the inability to determine who is here legally or not, it significantly hampers your efforts." Spokesman Tony Snow said it, but who would believe it? The government can't determine who is here legally? That's either proof we're doomed, or a blatant plug for a coming ID card. Not sure which is worse. We'll figure it out on tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY OCTOBER 16, 2006 2:25 AM (ET) You wonder whether politicians are duplicitous or stupid-- now there's a test. It involves a scale. The study results are in and being overweight not only degrades your physical condition, but it makes you dumber too. This explains so much. And it comes out of England, where in an unrelated story, British Airways won't let employees wear crosses, but burqas are fine. Speaking of the latter, you'll also hear the latest Taliban warning all on tap tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

FRIDAY OCTOBER 13, 2006 2:15 AM (PT) When oldies revivals were in full swing in the '80s, one catalog was notoriously absent. No re-releases, vinyl or CDs, no licensing of performances for television or movies. And they had a lot of hits too. Quick what was it? Any record collector will tell you. Cameo-Parkway. But why weren't the songs re-released? Lots of theories, but they're available now. Charlie Gracie joins me along with the folks from Cameo Parkway and Steve Caldwell from the Orlons tonight at 10.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 12, 2006 2:05 AM (ET) It's one thing to know HAARP exists, and to believe the government has all sorts of secret programs. it's quite another to turn on your radio late at night and hear interference that sounds decidedly digital, with pulsating blasts in a distinct on and off pattern lasting seconds or minutes. That's exactly what thousands of radio listeners heard last Sunday night, and most of them are wondering what is it that they don't know. Find out tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 11, 2006 1:15 AM (PT) Remember Deductive logic 101? If all dogs have fleas and spot is a dog then spot has fleas? Try this one. President Bush says "America is a nation of law and we will enforce our law." So... "If all lawbreakers will be prosecuted and Illegal aliens are lawbreakers, then illegals will be-- given citizenship?" That's what he wants. Sounds like a faulty premise to me. America is a nation of laws but we'll selectively enforce them. We'll go from there with illegal illogic tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY OCTOBER 10, 2006 12:50 AM (PT) When a Kansas town passed a law requiring all motels to fax the driver's licenses of every nightly guest to the police, they were pleased with the results. Numerous arrests. So they've widened their scope and have just passed a new law that has every storage locker facility doing the same thing to all renters. If staying in a hotel is probably cause, why not renting a locker? And you thought those spaces were just for people with too much stuff. True terror tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

SUNDAY OCTOBER 8, 2006 10:55 PM (PT) Happy Columbus Day tomorrow. You're not ready for this all American story. Let me put it this way, can you think of a case where you'd side with illegal immigrants suing an American employer for the right to work here? I couldn't-- until now. Then I heard about a group of people who were told by their employer they were in a program towards legalization. Money was deducted weekly from their paycheck for their legal expenses, and the program indeed existed. Only one problem-- one big problem, and you'll hear it Monday night at 10 (ET).

FRIDAY OCTOBER 6, 2006 10:06 PM (PT) I finally managed to get the online trivia questions up. So if you're eligible to play, click on "She Said What" to your left, and good luck. I'll be back before Monday's show to let you know what's on my mind, but for now I'm embarking on a mindless weekend. Hope yours is placid.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 5, 2006 1:05 AM (PT) What rights do parents have over their kids' education in public schools? Absolutely none. In fact if a parent tries to object to a lesson plan by keeping the kid home, he'll face a truancy charge according to Philadelphia public schools which has decided to honor gay and lesbian history month. And for parents that object not on the grounds of homosexuality, but any sexuality in grade school? The truant police will be knockin' on their door too. Indoctrination tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 4, 2006 2:11 AM (ET)Most Americans say they'll give up privacy, even liberty, for protection Before we debate the wisdom of that, we should throw in an interesting wrinkle. While citizens face increasing government intrusion, prisoners-- in fact convicted terrorists in American jails-- communicate freely by mail with other terrorists inside and outside the walls without much fear that their communiques will be intercepted, let alone read. More of why we're doomed tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

My buddy Steve Bryant has written a book. It'll be out in a bout a month. And if you love, or for that matter, if you hate, home shopping television, it's a must read. But why wait? Go to www.stevebryant.tv right now. I'm laughing out loud about the dragon epidemic. (You'll find it in paragraph 2.)

Sadly I'm not laughing out loud about the plight of our service men and women who find themselves brought up on criminal charges for decisions on the battlefield. One of them is in a Kuwait jail right now. Check out his story here.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 3, 2006 2:35 AM (PT) The pentagon report is the latest proof that terrorists are following the words of the Koran to the letter in their despicable deeds. While it can be argued that taking passages literally is misguided and comparatively rare, it nonetheless is an indisputable fact that for suicide bombers, this is a religious war. How are we fighting it? Giving our troops in Iraq sensitivity training, so they'll understand things like Ramadan. Why we're doomed, tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

SUNDAY OCTOBER 1, 2006 10:30 PM (PT) As you can see we've been making entires every day, but if you haven't read them before now, it's because we have been unable to log on to our server. We finally solved the problem by moving it to another machine. (Wish us luck with Linux-- it was hard to say goodbye to FreeBSD Unix but all good things end eventually-- I won't bore you with why, in this case.) Our next order of business will be to reformat this page (sorry for the absolute mess). But that won't be immeidate. We'll also be tweaking the stream in good time-- our big focus is always what you hear between 10 and 2 (ET) weeknights, speaking of which, you might be interested in what we'll say Monday night. Lot's of things.

We'll start with Rep. Foley of Florida who has resigned in disgrace. Sordid email to underage pages. We'll look at the timing on this. He was running in a district virtually guaranteed to re-elect a republican. But now it's too late to get another one on the ballot, and the democrat runs opposed-- or more accurately, opposed by a guy who has resigned in disgrace. You know all that. So here's the questions-- don't you think the republicans had to know about his daliances in time to convince him that another candidate would be a swell idea?, and assuming yes to that, why didn't they do it? Conspiracies, anyone? We'll have 'em tomorrow night at 10 ET / 7 PT.

SEPTEMBER 2006

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 2006 12:00 AM (PT) NAFTA 14 years later, according to an in depth study, has actually lowered the standard of living in all three countries. The more jobs promise in the US?-- not. The better jobs in Mexico?-- not. And Canada? Their loss is numerous social programs-- the ones NAFTA was supposed to supplement. You'd think with that we'd rethink the Security and Prosperity Partnership which is neither, but we're forging forward undaunted. How you can stop it tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT)

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 27, 2006 12:05 AM (PT) When congressmen say they don't know anything about the proposed North American merger between the US, Mexico and Canada, they just may be right. Bypassing the legislature and the constitution, Washington insiders are following the Council of Foreign relations plan to eliminate our borders in 2010 to the letter. Don't believe it? Well wait until you hear about the North American border pass, to be issued in all three countries in 2007. You will tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2006 2:00 AM (PT) The judge said "I just follow my own common sense and the hell with the law" which is just as well since he doesn't know the law. Doesn't run into it much in his day job as a phone repairman, but that hasn't stopped him from presiding over proceedings which have been sending people to jail for 13 years. And he's not alone. There are almost 2000 just like him in New York and 30 other states have similar courts. Find out about this terror tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 25, 2006 1:10 AM (PT) If you were afraid over what kids learn in college, you'll be in terror when you hear about what's happening to a group of students from some major schools like Harvard. They're participating, along with counterparts in Canada and Mexico, in a mock parliament. The lesson? How to bring about a North American merger. They're drafting bills, and making plans. Then they'll run for real office. Details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

Yes, we're still playing trivia on Friday nights, and for those of you playing online, hopefully I'll be together enough to get you some questions by next week. Apologies forthe lag. And more apologies to the past month's winners. I'm expecting to get the prizes in the mail this coming weekend. Still haven't found the envelopes. We'll just buy more. Easier than unpacking, which is still our all consuming off air activity. Is it worth it? You'll decide once I get a picture online of what I see from my studio window. Hopefully that's coming soon too. About all I can guarantee is I'll talk to you tonight at 10. Looking forward to it.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2006 1:00 AM (ET) You'd think our secretary of defense would be interested in conferences about how to secure our borders, but he was in Banff last week, at a high level meeting of how to eliminate them. Far from publicized, the North American Forum was top secret. Plenty of American notables along with top officials from Canada and Mexico were invited by the Canadian Council of Chief Executives bent on a merger you're not gonna like. Here more tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT)

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 20, 2006 12:05 AM (ET) You think you know what trespassing is? Wait until you hear about this ruling from a federal judge who in his wisdom has ruled that it's criminal trespass if you boat, fish or hunt on the Mississippi River, or any navigable water in the United States. Exactly how wide is that ruling? Consider this-- virtually every water way in America is considered navigable. So enjoy a day of boating with your family and go to jail. Hear all about it tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2006 2:30 AM (ET) So you know that foreigners can own land here. You know that foreign companies can own businesses. You've heard that a foreign entity has bought an American utility company or two. You might know that we're selling our toll roads to foreign corporations, so maybe you won't be surprised at this, but I'm here to tell you about a large American bank being sold to... Mexico. You'll want to hear more tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

A rousing discussion last night. If you missed it, here's the question: What's really up with the Pope's comments about Islam? Bear in mind this is not a stupid, naive individual. This is the pope. He knew exactly what he said and what reaction it would garner-- including a price tag on his life. So why did he say it? The reason will reveal a lot about what's really going on. If you're sure you know, we can talk more.

A couple more things-- one is to call your senator today. 888-355-3588. The bill that the house passed last week ordering 700 miles of fencing on our southern border will hopefully be on the floor of the senate this week. Let your senators know you want a vote before the mid-term election recess and you want a vote for it. I realize it's not a complete answer, but it is a start and a message in the right direction that America is a sovereign nation that will protect its borders. You don't have to know who your senator is, as long as you know where you live, just call the number and they'll direct you.

Next. If you haven't heard, there's a town in England that has added sound to its surveillance cameras. Right out of 1984, when a citizen is spotted doing something illegal, like littering, a voice comes out of a public loud speaker and tells them: Warning, you are being monitored, please refrain from (whatever). If you don't the next message is: "Your behavior is being monitored and recorded and police are enroute". Here's the amazing part-- no citizen has complained or requested it be discontinued. Many are praising it for making them feel more secure. Me, I'm feeling pretty sick just writing about it. Talk to you tonight.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 2006 12: 15 AM (ET) Sometimes it seems that contacting congress is a waste of time. Not this time. After a deluge of calls and letters over the USDA plan, slated to come into effect soon that would require every livestock owner to chip, track and report each animal-- by the way, if you think that's not you, then hopefully you don't have a horse, which under the rules would have you filing a report each time it left your property-- even with you on it-- congress has entered legislation to prohibit it. Find out what else you can do tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

Also keep a watch out for what Condoleeza Rice is going to do about Dog the Bounty Hunter. That will tell you about a lot more than his fate-- more like the country's. Don't have a clue about what I'm typing? I'll fill ya in on that too.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2006 1:30 AM (PT) One of Hitler's biggest hopes was Germany's children. He believed if they were indoctrinated at a young age, and molded throughout their childhood, that they'd be good Nazi's. That sounds pretty reprehensible today. And in Germany, most things associated with Hitler are now not only illegal, but forbidden. It's a legacy they want to live down-- except when it comes to the children. Then they fall right in line, which explains why one mother is now in a German jail. Details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2006 12:30 AM (PT) Why pay some Coyote to smuggle you across the border in an arduous ,dangerous, hot trip, when you can ride in comfort with actual credentials? It's the latest "Come to America" scam and all you've got to do is ride an elephant, juggle fire or walk a tightrope. Actually you don't have to do any of that. All you have to do is pay someone $4,000 who will claim you can do some of that, and presto chango, alacazam! American documents. Welcome to our circus, er, country. Details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT)

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2006 1:30 AM (PT) Whistleblower protection? Not for one female lawyer in Ohio. Repeated jailings for things like stealing her own car, or talking too much at a hearing. That's besides the disbarment. And the jailings with no charges, a situation the appellate court would not hear. If you think you have constitutional rights, then whatever you do, don't bring to light the misconduct of public officials. Not acceptable? Good. Do something about it after you hear the whole story tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

If you want to read about it before the show, the site for you is www.northcountrygazette.org. Click on it. North Country Gazette is the tireless work of June Maxam who puts herself on the line every day to expose public corruption and judicial misconduct. This particular case involves Else Baumgartner. Read all about her. And check out the big story on Pinellas County. The folks who brought you the Terri Schiavo decisions (never once questioning whether Michael was a fit guardian-- which was the real issue here-- who was fit to make the decision, not the questioning of the decision itself, but I digress), now bring you unlawful use of public officials to influence an election (and in the process the Schiavo decision). The problem here is the action is in living color, memorialized in television campaigns, and nobody is doing a thing about it. Laws? What Laws? The ones that are good enough to jail innocent people without charges? June joins us tonight.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2006 1:00 AM (ET)9-11, five years ago. Not sure what you'd think we're memorialzing if you watched national TV. The promos sounded more a commemoration. A very commercial one. While some are yelling that one documentary in particular is innacurate because it portrays Clinton in a bad light-- the same people who think Michael Moore is credible by the way-- no one has batted an eye over the schedule of events for 911... events including a reading from the Koran. If political correctness doesn't kill, it certainly will hurt the sensitivities of most Americans. Why we're doomed. We'll count the ways tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT)

Also, apologies that this page is so screwed up. It's a long story, and I'll fix it hopefully sooner rather than later, but for now I know it's a pain to read and I apologize. Talk to you tonight!

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 7, 2006 12:15 AM (PT)From the what were they thinking department, three midwest all American teens saw the young woman's picture in the paper. She looked good enough to take out, so they tried. To take her out of her freshly dug grave. To use the condoms they bought on the way to the cemetery. Then there's the woman who's father died on the Amtrak enroute to Chicago-- the one who decided not to alert authorities until she reached their destination to avoid shipping charges. How the American public devolved to this, tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2006 12:15 AM (PT) If there's a 100% certainty you're going to die, shouldn't you be allowed to try any cure you want? That should be a rhetorical question and the real issue should be, where does the government get off trying to protect you from yourself-- in this case, when you're dying anyway? Finally an appellate court has ruled the FDA can't stop the terminally ill from trying unapproved treatments. But it's not over. Find out what's next tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2006 1:20 AM (PT) A fellow in Iowa got a letter threatening him with loss of driver's license, professional license, credit bureau notification and get this, his face on the 10 most wanted list, for failure to pay child support. The only problem is the guy doesn't have a child. Another fellow was threatened in Florida for the three kids he's not supporting. Except the fellow, a high schooler, is younger than the kids he supposedly fathered. A third guy, in New York, was threatened when he stopped paying support-- for a child who died. And then there was the couple reunited in New Mexico-- over their common disbelief that the state was enforcing child support-- when the couple was childless. These are not isolated stories. And the states didn't go away when they discovered their errors. What we can, and should do about it tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

If you won't lobby your legislator when government insanity is directly affecting you (and this issue will affect virtually all of us on some level at some time), is there any hope for our republic? Not a rhetorical question, but probably a rhetorical answer. Let's change that. Let your lawmakers know that the child support system must be completely overhauled now. The emphasis must be on fairness and minimal government intervention. Laws like non-custodial parents being liable for payments to the feds when their ex spouses collect welfare, even fraudulently, are a tip of the iceberg. If you're facing the atrocity of federalized child support personally, there's an organization that will help you. It's the National Family Justice Association. Find out more at www.nfja.org. You'll get help tailored for your situation, as well as great general information that will arm you in what should be your fight with congress to change these laws now.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 4, 2006 2:30 AM (ET) Happy Labor Day-- and yes we'll be on live, with plenty to discuss. Like jobs you'd kill for-- or jobs that would kill you. (You probably heard that Aussie Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin succumbed to a stingray over the weekend) Or Al Quaida's list of favorite people (NY Times' Seymour Hersh is on the "friends" list), or Chicago's insanity. Yup, here it is Labor day and Chicago is celebrating Independence this month-- not Chicago's independence, or Illionois' or America's-- nope, Chicago is decking itself out in red, white and Green to honor Mexico's independence-- towns across America are passing the laws the federal government won't. The latest is Escondido-- 45 miles north of the border, with an almost 50% hispanic populous, this California town joins others in legislation making it illegal to rent to illegals. What's right with this logic tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT)

AUGUST 2006

THURSDAY AUGUST 31, 2006 12:15 AM (PT). Wow, the last day of August. Where did this month go? Or this summer? Time flies when you've got numerous conspiracies to keep the mind active. Here's one-- you may have heard that California is requiring any entity receiving even one dollar of state funding to accept and condone any sexual orientation. That may sound inclusive on the surface, but just think how that will play in, say, Christian private schools. That should put to rest any thoughts that vouchers are a good idea for parents who want real choice. But there's an upside to this. And I think you're gonna like it. Find out what it might possibly be tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 30, 2006 1:00 AM (PT) Last year illegals here sent $20 billion back to Mexico. Our government has a plan to make it easier for them to send more this year. And officials think it will help stop illegal immigration. Are they kidding? But it gets wackier. Banks are offering free accounts to illegals and guaranteeing they'll be able to get their money in Mexico if they're deported. And we can top that-- and we will tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT)

TUESDAY AUGUST 29, 2006 1:30 AM (PT) We've had sensors on the border for years. And they haven't worked-- for a variety of reasons, many having nothing to do with their technical abilities. So what is Homeland Security going to do? Spend billions on new sensors. No word about addressing the non technical issues, nothing about how border patrol will be allowed, let alone able, to respond. But we do know one of the contenders for the lucrative deal is not an American company. The rest of the details tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT)

11% of Florida voters are black. 2006 candidates in Florida haven't even spent 1% advertising on black owned media-- radio, tv, print combined. What's wrong with this picture? Everything, and so it is that Charles W. Cherry II, publisher of the Florida Courier and principal of Tama Broadcasting (which owns WPUL in Daytona that carries my show, I'm proud to say), tells us there's a press conference highlighting the illogic this Thursday at 10:30 AM in Ft. Lauderdale. It will also be carried live and on the internet on a number of radio stations. Check it out (you might want to try WPUL's stream here.)

MONDAY AUGUST 28, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) You've heard about the coming superhighway traversing America from Mexico to Canada, designed to haul NAFTA goods expediently. It all sounds so lovely-- until you hear the details. It starts with the ports in Mexico dotting the Pacific Ocean. The ones controlled by the Chinese who drop their goods there, to be picked up by drivers without the benefit of labor laws. Just how do they drive thousands of miles at a clip. Find out, because they'll be doing it here soon tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

FRIDAY AUGUST 25, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) Trivia Tonight. 3 big hours at 10. Talk to you then. And in answer to the requests for the letter from the taxpayer requesting to change his citizenship status to illegal, click on "I Want A Copy Of That" and you'll see it.

THURSDAY AUGUST 24, 2006 2:00 AM (ET) If you're an employer and think your employees should spend all their on the job time working rather than surfing the net and instant messaging, some experts feel you're a fossil. Microsoft, of course backs them. You see, young people have a right to being digitized. One psychologist claims that taking a cell phone away from a child is tantamount to child abuse. Whatever happened to priorities? Rationalizations tonight at 10 (ET)

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 23, 2006 2:05 AM (PT) There's an old saying about television news-- "If it bleeds, it leads." But apparently that's not true when the perpetrator is an illegal. From Prison gang fare by inmates here illegally but jailed for other offenses, to the random shooting of American citizens on street corners, it's undeniable that illegal aliens are a provable factor in crime, astonishingly so in smaller towns. So what's the news? The white house is backing the Pence amnesty bill. What you're not hearing--but you will tonight at 10 (ET).

TUESDAY AUGUST 22, 2006 1:05 AM (PT) There's a half a billion dollar program, funded by your tax dollars, that Jeb Bush is pushing as a way to help commuters. That would be accurate if those commuters were contained in cargo from China, making their way across the country by rail. But as it is, NAFTA, China, and especially the largest railroad on the east coast will make out great. Commuters-- not so well. We'll talk about being strung up on a rail tonight at 10 (ET) / 7 (PT).

FRIDAY AUGUST 18, 2006 12:01 AM (PT) Think of all those random facts you've collected over the years. Details about things no one else wants to know. Under normal circumstances, rattle off those odd statistics and about the only thing you'll hear is "Who cares?" Well I do, and I'll prove it with Trivia. I'll ask you a few questions and you'll win if you can answer them. And if you can't, you'll have a shot at your own category-- the one you know everything about-- or do you? We'll find out tonight at 10 (ET)/ 7 (PT) when we play trivia for the first time from our new studio location.

THURSDAY AUGUST 17, 2006 12:19 AM (PT) There are a lot of discussions about privacy and data theft and how important it is to protect your personal information. You have every reason to worry about companies or the government inadvertently releasing your profile, but there's a bigger concern you should have, that has probably never crossed your mind. How often do you use a search engine online? For most people, that's quite a lot, and if you're one of them, you've just revealed more than you realize. Find out what and how tonight at 10.

We've been talking quite a bit about the two border patrol agents convicted of violating the civil rights of a drug smuggler entering the country illegally with 800 pounds of marijuana. Every aspect of this case has me sick to my stomach. The most amazing quote comes from the assistant US attorney who said that the border patrol pursuit policy prohibits the pursuit of someone. This case is beyond outrageous (bottom line: the drug runner was given total immunity to testify against the border patrol agents). You can read about it here, but what I'd really like you to do is sign a petition asking President Bush to make this right and pardon these guys. You can do that here. If the President won't intervene, there will be absolutely no doubt as to our border patrol policy and all its lunacy. Thanks for helping to correct a national disgrace. I've always known our War on Drugs was insane but this proves how much of a sham it really is, not to mention demonstrates first hand that we have no insterest whatsoever in securing our borders. Unacceptable.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 16, 2006 2:10 AM (ET) If you're wondering what else can American businesses outsource, you might not like this news. Some employers have found a nifty way to cut down on health care costs. When their workers here in America are in need of surgery, they throw in a free plane ticket because the procedure will be done in a place the employee may not be able to find on a map. If you weren't sick before you heard about this, you will be downright ill when you get the details, tonight at 10 ET / 7 PT.

TUESDAY AUGUST 15, 2006 12:01 AM (PT) Another laptop computer belonging to the government is stolen. This one has personal identity data of over 133,000 people. The press reports hacking and thefts-- I've got a bigger issue. What the heck is "sensitive data" to quote the US Transportation Department, doing on any laptop in the first place? When government entities under the power of law extract personal information from you, shouldn't they be responsible for protecting it. Sinister or stupid? We'll talk motive tonight at 10.

Oh by the way, the stream is back up. And you can easily hear it. Just click here and listen away while we're on live. (We're live weeknights from 10-1 ET, 7-10 PT. If it's not during those hours all you'll see is an error message. No pretty graphics, but a very nice stream that anyone who can surf the web can actually access. Long story on why it took so long and how we finally got it to work and that's forthcoming, but for now, just enjoy it. I'm too tired to say more. Let me know what you think.

SUNDAY AUGUST 13, 2006 11:30 PM (PT) I'm baaaack... or I will be tomorrow night, with many stories about the studio move. In hindsight, it will all be funny-- actually you'll laugh at a lot of it now, but it will be a while before we smile-- except when we think of many people who dropped what they were doing to fix what was wrong. (It's a long list and it's all Telco related and I'm smiling just writing.) Major league thanks to Luke Davis at Tacticus.com who went beyond what anyone might think was reasonable to help. If you ever need anything in the way of an agent or an advocate for any form of communications, go to tacticus.com. You won't be sorry.

And big time thanks to a group of people at Verizon who have done the company proud-- Tina, Jim, Kay & Dave in particular but I'm leaving out a lot of people I should be thanking publicly. Once this is all over, I'll give you the list. I'm leaving out a couple folks intentionally-- doesn't matter who they are, but their attitude and ineptitude created havoc that was hard to undo. But the fully amazing part is how many people jumped in to do just that in my behalf. We're not straightened out yet, but with the astounding help of a team of caring Telco professionals (not an oxymoron in this case), we will be soon.

But already, as they say, it's good enough for government work, so we'll be live tomorrow night. Speaking of the government...for the past week, you've heard countless debates about whether Americans should be forced to give up constitutional protection when it comes to our so called war on terrorism. If you think you've heard every heated argument imaginable, I'm here to tell you that the definitive solution has not even been mentioned in passing. It would allow the government to search for terrorists and at the same time would protect you completely. Find out what it is and why no one is suggesting it tomorrow night at 10. Talk to you then-- oh and speaking of talk, until the 610-640-6400 number can be ported over (a loose end on which I'm not focusing right now but will be soon), call at my expense-- 888-876-5593. That reaches me right here.

So where is here you ask? A lake in the northern rockies near the border, but wherever we are, we're never further than your radio or telephone! ...or your email, though I gotta apologize right now for not even checking over the past 10 days. I just downloaded your messages and it's great to hear from over... 7,000... of you, but it will take a while to respond, which as you probably know, I'll only do to personal notes, not sent as group posts (or I'll be writing into next year).

JULY 2006

WEDNESDAY JULY 26, 2006 2:30 AM (ET) The Rollye James Show is on the move. Literally. And while we relocate the studios, you get to hear the shows you wanted to hear again. Tonight it's Larry Nichols who was in Bill Clinton's inner circle before he even thought about running for President. It was Larry who told the world about Gennifer Flowers, Whitewater and several other juicy inside stories. Now he's after all of congress if they don't seal our borders. Check him out tonight at 10

In fact, let me give you the rest of the schedule in case there's someone you particularly want to hear.

Thursday July 27th it's it's Ed Klein. A guy not known for his conservatism who wrote a fascinating book on the true nature of the Hildebeast. The habits of a political creature-- Hillary Clinton. That's followed by an hour with Steve Bryant.

Friday July 28th we've got a couple of shows you haven't heard. Airing for the first time, it's Art Laboe, Los Angeles' longest running and highest rated top 40 disc jockey and Jerry Blavat, who answers the question 'How can you still be drawing crowds on and off the air 45 years later. Joe Smith in the 3rd hour!

Monday July 31st it's Mary Ann GhostBuster. Need I say more?

Tuesday August 1st it's Alan Watt. If you think you're a conspiratorialist or I'm a conspiratorialist, you haven't heard the king of conspiratorialists and he'll tie them all together for you.

Wednesday August 2nd it's Minutemedn and Colin Hanna from WeNeedAFence.com The border? Still bordering on insanity.

Thursday August 3rd it's Madeleine Cosman who died earlier this year, but her legacy lives on. Find out what you really have to fear about illegal immigration-- the state of your health. Illegals are bringing us more than most people want to know.

Friday August 4th it's Dr. Demento, Ron Diamond and Shelby Singleton, a trifecta of musical knowledge and fun. This will be a big day for me off the air. I've scheduled our ISDN installation at the new location. I've also scheduled t he install of our broadband service. With any luck we'll be talking to you next week-- but more likely it could be the week after, so we've scheduled another week of shows, just in case. (I'm expecting "in case".. as I'm typing this now (on 7/26) I'm still 100 boxes away from packed and the movers are coming in 30 hours.)

Monday August 7th it's a real crowd pleaser, the first interview with David Adair. Is he for real? Find out for yourself.

Tuesday August 8th it's Al Cuppett. Concentration camps in America? You may not have believed him when he first aired, but you'll see some of what he said has already come to pass.

Wednesday August 9th it's erome Corsi, who ties all the border issues together and Ron Paul who tries to prevent congress from selling our sovereignty.

Thursday August 10th it's the show on the Federal Reserve, which isn't Federal nor a reserve.

Friday August 11th its a replay of the tribute to Steven B. Williams, the owonderful voice of the show, and my closest friend who was murdered in May. We're still not over it, and his killer is still at large, but this show features some of his wonderful humor and comments by several of his friends. And then Monday we'll be back live-- no matter what (she says with great resolve and gritted teeth, particularly when thinking about the phone company). Talk to you live then!

TUESDAY JULY 25, 2006 4:30 AM (ET) Imagine a country where police enter your home, drag you out and take you to the nearest hospital where you're tied to a gurney and experimental drugs are administered against your will. It's beyond Orwell's 1984. It's America 2006. And the worst part is some people think that's the government's role when a teen and his parents opt for non state approved treatment. Today "it's for the children" tomorrow it will be for you. Real terror tonight at 10.

We talked at length about this last night, but it's so threatening to our pesonal freedom that we'll have more to say tonight. The fact that a government can do this, let alone does it with immunity, is so invasively frightening that as far as I'm concerned, it deserves a constitutional amendment. No one should have the right to tell you what medical decisions you must make, and it is NOT for the children. It's against YOU and your self determination. Do not stand for this. 888-355-3588 is the toll free number to reach your congress folks. Use it. Demand what would have clearly been a constitutional freedom if the notion of forced medical treatment was even a vague reality in 1791.

On to a happier note, several people wrote about Friday's trivia, asking about the top 10 misspelled words. Here they are (with the most common incorrect spelling): 10. Transfered 9. Usefull 8. therefor 7. definately 6. occured 5. adress 4. seperate 3. recieve 2. caffiene and number one.... suppose to. So what's wrong with that? It's supposed to-- with a d. I'd argue that it's a gramatical error, not a spelling issue, and further if this is on the list, than clearly homophones would outpace many of these choices its and it's, their and there, and so forth. But it's not my list. So who's is it: Source: Bloomsbury English Dictionary, 2nd edition, 2004. It was fun though!

SUNDAY JULY 23, 2006 11:20 PM (ET) You hear everyone from employers to politicians talking about illegals filling jobs that Americans don't want to do. But now there's a job-- that often pays six figures, that one recruiting company claims Americans don't want to do. You'll be surprised at what it is, and not so surprised at the logic they're using for recruiting... people from India. Among the selling points is they don't have families and don't want time off. They also explain how teaching them to drive in India is more effective than Americans learning here. We'll tell you, in this firm's own words, how they're justifying this and apart from the loss of our jobs and the erosion of the American middle class, it may leave you afraid to get on the highways. Wait til you hear this and you will Monday night at 10.

We're up to our necks in boxes, packing to move the studio later in the week. I'll tell you more in a few days but for now, if you're an online trivia player, we'll suspend those questions until we're up and running at the other end. Thanks

FRIDAY JULY 21, 2006 3:08 AM (ET) So you know everything about... well, if you know everything about anything, or even a little about a lot, you're the perfect candidate for trivia. We'll throw out a couple of stumpers-- but if you don't want to tackle them and prefer your own category, we've got something for you. From bible to beer trivia, autos to astronauts, Pismotolagy to puppetudes. What? That's music. Name the record in which those words were first heard and win. Something for everybody tonight at 10.

You heard a letter I read about a plan to provide a Gitmo detainee to every American complaining of their treatment and asked I reprint it? It's under "I Want A Copy Of That" to your left along with the list of Communist Goals read into the Jan. 10, 1963 Congressional Record. You asked for that too.

THURSDAY JULY 20, 2006 4:00 AM (ET) Would you doubt a television documentary on illegal immigration? How biased would it be if Fox produced it? You'll find out the sorry truth from someone who was on it. You'll also hear about the house vote on a free trade agreement with Oman. Make that Oh Man, if this goes through. It's threatening to our economy, our sovereignty and more, and the senate easily approved it. If you think NAFTA is bad get a load of MEFTA tonight at 10.

And if you're reading this early enough to call your representative before he or she votes, by all means pick up the phone and dial 888-355-3588. If you don't know who your representative is, just give the operator your zip code and you'll be connected. Let them know that a free trade agreement with Oman is the last thing we need right now. Thanks

TUESDAY JULY 18, 2006 10:00 PM (ET) In six minutes I would be starting eh show live. I'm here ready to do it and Gary Matsumoto is ready to join me. We have a number of truly amazing things to share with you. And I'll be talking to myself. There were these storms here earlier-- nothing major, just a few trees uprooted, debris scattered, some wind sheer, perhaps a funnel. Nothing to get tremendously upset about. The leaking studio ceiling wasn't even related. The power was barely off. And everything is back now-- except my ISDN lines. You might be saying, 'Rollye with a national radio show you should have redundency' and you'd be right, but I'm ahead of you. We do have redundency. Two layers of it, actually. And everey ISDN line is down. What this tells me, of course, is that the trouble lies at the Telco CO, which would be a small problem at 10 in the morning and a cry in the wilderness at 10 at night. Yes I've talked with repair. That is its own kind of hell.

All this is to say that I'll be talking to you the minute Verizon lets me. I'm hoping it will be tonight, but if not I'm confident it will be tomorrow night and Gary Matsumoto has been gracious enough to say he'll join us then. Thanks for your patience. Don't ask about mine.

TUESDAY JULY 18, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) What's really the story about bird flu? Regardless of whether it manifests, the real story might be about the health destroying potential of the vaccine touted to prevent it. Remember Vaccine A, Gary Matsumoto's book detailing what's behind Gulf War Syndrome? The culprit is still with us. And if that doesn't scare you, Gary's latest work uncovers a scam so big, no one wants to tell you about it. But he will. It involves the trading of millions of non existent stock shares daily. Details tonight at 10.

MONDAY JULY 17, 2006 12:09 AM (ET) Are you hearing the mideast news-- and wondering if World War III is beginning. ?According to Newt Gingrich it already has. Are you worried about our economy? The latest Federal Reserve report says we're bankrupt. You think illegals are just here to work? Wait until you hear what they'll do when they're fired. One Ohio employer is beaten, his work site shot up all because he asked an employee to prove he was here legally. And we haven't even gotten to the latest on RFID implants but we will on the next RJ show.

Maybe it's time to examine your own spirituality. That's the topic in a wonderful read "Redhanded, A Spiritual Journey" is a novel and soon to be movie by John Wesley Downey. Before we get on to the depressing news of the day and there's plenty to discuss, we'll have some fun talking to John about the book and everything radio. He's spent over 30 years in the business in Houston. You can order the book from Amazon here and check out John at redhanded.info.

And speaking of fun, if you qualify for online trivia, the questions are up under "She Said What". Talk to you tonight at 10.

THURSDAY JULY 13, 2006 5:00 AM (ET) You've heard about the government pulling young kids out of homes and forcing medical treatment on them that their parents don't want. But what happens when that kid is 16 years old, has already undergone chemotherapy unsuccessfully, understands all the possible risks and rewards of doing it again and decides against it. His parents back his decision totally. Regardless the government is asking the court to force treatment. When there's no protection from child protection tonight at 10.

One of our WGY listeners, Chad, is involved with a group dedicated to suing the Federal government to force them to be accountable to the people. According to Chad, they've won an amazing court victory supporting citizens rights against the IRS. Hopefully he'll call in and tell us more.

WEDNESDAY JULY 12, 2006 5:10 AM (ET) Protesters call for federal officials to prosecute the New York Times for printing details of secret government programs designed to capture terrorists. Interesting that they call it betrayal. What if a program includes the systematic violation of your constitutional rights without your knowledge? Would holding back that information be a different form of betrayal? And if it's OK to hold back this information, what else is it OK we not know in the name of protection? Terrifying questions tonight at 10.

TUESDAY JULY 11, 2006 3:10 AM (ET) A big welcome to Youngstown's 570 WKBN. They joined us live last night and we're thrilled to have 'em. That's big thanks to Dan Rivers, WKBN's program director who moved heaven and earth (or at least a few satellite receivers) to pick us up. Check out them out at 570WKBN.com.

As for what you'll hear tonight.. think Mid America. Think Bucolic farm towns. Think Minnesota. Doesn't get more 'mom's apple pie' than that, does it? Now think Sanborn. Population 420. Where residence embrace the 9 surveillance cameras and their 24/7 vigil on their activities. They're pleased the crime wave has abated. Crime wave? Could it possibly have anything to do with those working in the fields or the nearby meat packing plants? No one's mentioning that, but we will tonight at 10.

Also wanted to mention the Freedom Summits coming up in Austin. If you're concerned about what's happening to our sovereignty, here's a couple meetings you'll want to attend.

MONDAY JULY 10, 2006 12:01 AM (ET) The email questions are up from Friday night. Apologies to Jerry and others who qualify for being lax about this ;) Click on "She Said What" to your left.

As for tonight, The Mexican government's unofficial stance about their citizens entering America illegally is that they'll help them do it until we remove border restrictions. That help includes US dollars, ten pages of instructions on how to avoid US authorities and seminars on living here illegally. Meanwhile they're voicing outrage that an American hospital would consider billing them for treating illegals. But if that weren't bad enough, we've got at least one US senator that offers more advice. FInd out who tonight at 10.

THURSDAY JULY 6, 2006 3:45 AM (ET) What if you discovered that every dollar you paid in taxes was a total scam. That none of it went to running the government, and in that a group of private individuals was printing up our money, in any amount they wanted, backed by nothing whatsoever and then selling the money to us. You'd think it was impossible if not illegal, and it should be both but instead it's the foundation of our federal reserve which is neither federal nor a reserve. Find out what it is when Andre Eggelletion joins me tonight at 10. Meanwhile check out his site here.

WEDNESDAY JULY 5, 2006 1:50 AM (ET) Remember Bin Laden? How could any American forget, you probably wonder. Apparently the CIA has. Or at the very least their desire to hunt him down has lessened. They've closed the unit tasked with capturing him. Why? they feel they can better deal with terror by focusing on regional trends rather than specific individuals. Only problem there, is for many of us getting this guy is personal. We'll speculate about what's really going on here, and continue to talk North Korea tonight at 10.

TUESDAY JULY 4, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) Happy Fourth Of July. Yes we'll be on live tonight! We talked to Frank Ahearn last night. Check out his website at www.disappear.info. Lots of good info, even if you don't want to disappear but just wish your private information wasn't so public. As for tonight, you probably know that things that sound too good to be true generally are. If you hear you can get paid a lot of money for doing nothing, I bet you wisely tend to doubt it. Well let me give you an addendum to that.. unless it's the unintended by product of another goofy government program. In this episode we bring you farm subsidies.. paid to people who have never seen a farm. Used by developers as a lure for potential homeowners. Build on one acre, get paid for owning the others. How this went wrong tonight at 10.

SUNDAY JULY 2, 2006 10:30 PM (ET) Barely a day goes by without news of a stolen laptop divulging the personal identifying information of thousands. From individual states and the federal government to private companies and data brokers, everyone is playing fast and loose with data you're forced to provide. Now one company's privacy policy has it in writing, that you don't own your identity. There's nothing you can do-- or is there? Actually there's a lot and you'll find out what tomorrow night at 10 when Frank M Ahearn, world class skip tracer joins me. Talk to you then-- live. Hope you're having a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We'll interrupt it tomorrow.

JUNE 2006

FRIDAY JUNE 30, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) If you're the person who comes up with those odd statistics that no one in their right mind could remember, or if you're the one who drives their friends crazy with details about the most inconsequential things that no one cares about anyway, your day has come. It's time for Trivia. We've got a few questions no one in their right mind could answer-- and if you don't want to tackle them, name your own category and see what happens tonight at 10.

THURSDAY JUNE 29, 2006 2:45 AM (ET) Joe Smith whose career spans the music business for more than 5 decades joins me tonight. From a young disc jockey featured in the movie Jamboree to the president of Capitol Records in the '80s & '90s, he's been entrenched in some amazing careers and more amazing behind the scenes intrigue. You'll hear all about it at 10.

Then at 11, we'll look at old saying, it's not who votes, but who counts the votes that matters. These days there's a new twixt: it's how the votes are counted. Everyone's heard about flaws in electronic voting machines but not many people realize that almost half the states have no provisions for vote verification. Only 12 have actual audits, which are also far from foolproof. With at least 80% of all voters using these machines this year we've got a new slogan: Your vote doesn't count. Details tonight.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 28, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) Our forefathers understood that the key to our freedom lay in our ability to take up arms against our oppressors, and thus the second amendment of the constitution was written to make sure we would never fall under tyrannical control. Now comes the UN which wants to disarm the world. They're meeting, make that plotting, in New York on how to take away our right to own handguns. What if they targeted the first amendment and wanted to take away our right to speak. Maybe that would make the headlines. What you're not hearing-- tonight at 10.

TUESDAY JUNE 27, 2006 3:30 AM (ET) The fourth amendment protects you from government intrusion. In order to be searched, a specific warrant must be issued based on probable cause. Comforting? Forget it. There is no fourth amendment anymore. At least not when it comes to searching through any data on you. The phone numbers you called, checks you cashed, credit card transactions and most anything you can imagine is available to law enforcement without any oversight, warrant or permission of any kind. Find out how this is possible-- and approved-- tonight at 10.

MONDAY JUNE 26, 2006 7:45 PM (ET) A lot of you who haven't heard me in awhile are going to be happy campers tonight, as WGY Schenectady-Albany-Troy starts carrying the show live! I'm excited and indebted to PD Greg Foster-- big big big thanks to him. At 810 AM with 50,000 watts, it's a good bet listeners along the eastern seaboard will pick it up. And if not, they've got a great stream. Go to their site here, look for the blinking tower in the night sky to your right, and click on it. It's that easy. And good.

But wait, there's more. WCHV AM 1260 in Charlottesville-- a great more-than-just-a-college town also starts running us live tonight at 10 (ET). That's thanks to PD Regan Keith. And thanks to GM Mark Jones, we'll now be live at 9 (CT) on WVBG-AM 1490 in Vicksburg, MS! Finally from the maybe not yet category, we might or might not be on WKBN in Youngstown tonight. I hope so-- good radio town, and great signal at 570 AM-- but if not, we will be as soon as they get a receiver. Thanks to Dan Rivers for adding us to the lineup. Talk to you tonight!

SUNDAY JUNE 25, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) A newspaper is aiding and abetting a skating rink in committing a crime according to the New York Division of Human Rights. Seems the paper accepted an ad for the rink's Christian Skating Party. New York is particularly upset the rink had the audacity to play Christian music at the Christian skating party, open to anyone by the way, so they're swiftly going after all the perpetrators for violating the civil rights-- of no one, near as I can tell, and I'll tell all Monday night at 10.

Jerry in North Carolina will be particularly pleased-- we've got the online trivia questions back up for those who qualify. Click on "She Said What" to your left and find out if that's you.

FRIDAY JUNE 23, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) Trivia tonight-- but before that we'll get into something not so trivial-- The Society Of Singers, a group dedicated to helping some of the artists who excelled at giving us some of the greatest music ever recorded but failed at protecting their own interests. The amount of well known people in the music business who have nothing to show for their million selling records is astounding. Jerry Sharell is the president of this group, and you can read all about it at singers.org. You'll find out more about SOS, and Jerry's amazing career at 10.

THURSDAY JUNE 22, 2006 4:30 AM (ET) Before it was just implied, now it's clearly stated. If you do business with AT&T, they own your data. It's all part of their new privacy policy--- they have some and you don't, is the bottom line. And they'll decide with whom they share it. Want a direct quote? "While your account information may be personal to you, these records constitute business records that are owned by AT&T. As such AT&T may disclose such records." We'll tell you more, including what AT&T is these days, tonight at 10.

It was good to catch up with June Maxam last night. Don't forget to check out her site: northcountrygazette.org There's plenty of free articles that will confirm your worst fears about our court system (and a myriad of other interesting things) and for a small fee you can have access to June's investigative reports. You'll recall she was way ahead of major media in reporting the Terri Schiavo story-- and she's one of the few that understood the issue was not one of Terri's living or dying, but rather whether a fit guardian was making that decision. Good material, and a way to help June defray the cost of bringing you information you generally won't find elsewhere.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 21, 2006 2:50 AM (ET) Earn an A in Koran memorizing in Saudi Arabia and win a scholarship. For a School in America. Where you will study aviation and learn how to fly. It sounds like stand up comedy but it's an actual program that pays the tuition for Saudi's wanting to study communications, Computers, and all things aviation. the worst part is we're accepting them. 25,000 of them. The white house has no comment. We've got a few tonight at 10.

So it seems I've stirred up a lot of conversation with my mention last week that Philadelphians would have a way to hear me soon. I would have said more, but I always defer to the radio stations that carry my show about making such announcements. One has: 810 WGY. So how can a station in the Albany New York market be a factor to Philadelphia listeners? With 50,000 watts and a wonderful AM clear channel dial position (810), night time listeners throughout the Northeast should have a good shot at hearing the show live from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET, beginning next Monday. Not only that, but they've got a wonderful stream! You can check them out here. Many many thanks to program director Greg Foster who made the decision to carry me! We'll have some other announcements soon-- but as for those Philadelphia rumors, nothing to them. I continue to be heard on 1210 WPHT, weekend overnights.

TUESDAY JUNE 20, 2006 11:00 PM (ET) We're talking to Jerome Corsi right now. You'll want to check out all of his writings at wnd.com. You'll also want to read about the SPP at spp.gov Check out nascocorridor.com too. And we're just getting started. Don't forget to order his latest book: Minutemen the Battle To Secure America's Borders. Click on it for a good pre-order price. If you haven't read Atomic Iran, that's a must read too. And if you're wondering why we're dependent on oil, Black Gold will tell you. And if you want to find out the whole story behind John Kerry, add Unfit For Command to your list too.

TUESDAY JUNE 20, 2006 4:00 AM (ET) So you can't figure out what Bush is thinking when he pushes for amnesty, though he won't call it that, for millions of illegals? Jerome Corsi knows. In fact he knows a lot of things that you'll find interesting-- from the conspiracy to erase our borders to what's really happening in Iran and why we're dependent on oil. He's a Harvard educated conspiratorialist who will back up his contentions tonight at 10.

MONDAY JUNE 19, 2006 2:35 AM (ET) I'm baaacckkk... you probably didn't notice I was gone (at least that was the plan with replays of our most requested interviews last week) but my lack of updating the website for the past week was probably a clue. Actually it was a sign, of my utter laziness, for which I won't make any excuses but will offer apologies and pledges to do better next time. But I'm here now, with a lot to say.

Take my latest rant about Homeland Security, that invasive agency that can peer into every facet of your life in the name of keeping us safe,. Now we have proof of what you suspected-- that they have nary a clue how to do that-- or much of anything, probably. Examples abound but none so telling as the story of Bruce DeCell a retired New York cop. To prove a point, Bruce acquired a fake Mexican ID card, the matricula consular card. It clakmed he lived at 123 Fraud Street in Staten Island which was misspelled. He was dismayed that no airline ever turned him away but downright amazed Homeland Security accepted it. Hear the whole story tonight at 10.

THURSDAY JUNE 8, 2006 2:15 AM (ET) America-- where you can't withdraw your own funds without a picture ID, but you can decide who'll be bombing the middle east. One guy has lived in a small town for over 50 years. Everyone at the bank knows him. He goes in to close an account and they say, sorry but since 911 we can't give you your own money unless we see a picture ID. Same town, election day, another guy, fairly new to town-- goes to vote where no one knows him. They don't even ask his name, let alone ask for an ID. What's going on here? We'll talk about it tonight at 10.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 7, 2006 2:45 AM (ET) He's a California school principal who believes in racial segregation. He thinks the desegregation ruling in Brown vs. the Board of Education is wrong, or at the very least doesn't apply to him and his charter school. You'd think the state would put an end to this in a hurry, and you'd be right if he were a white supremacist-- but in this case he's Hispanic and his school is financed in part by MeChA, the group that believes the American Southwest is Mexican territory. And you haven't even heard about his death threats to detractors but you will tonight at 10.

666 - TUESDAY JUNE 6, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) Hell Michigan is having a celebration. The church of Satan is holding high mass. Billboards in LA issue warnings. And marketers are spearheading a frenzy of releases-- all today on 6-6-6. June 6, 2006. Anything strange happen to you today? No reason to believe that bible prophecy referred to a date, but at the least we can compare the oddest way a marketer capitalized on this less than auspicious point in time, tonight at 10.

And if you miss it at 10, don't forget Extreme 152 on XM replays my show from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., 7 nights a week. Check it out! And while I'm mentioning places to hear me, if you're a former Philly listener who won't stay up to hear me 'in the middle of the damn night's on the weekend, come back to this site later this month. I'll have an announcement you're guaranteed to like. Thanks

MONDAY JUNE 5, 2006 5:30 AM (ET) Increasingly citizens agree that every American's DNA should be in a database because it would make crime solving easier. Well, if it's easier with our DNA, imagine how easy it would be if we were all on camera 24 hours a day, at home and away. Nobody would go for that you say, and my question would be, where do we draw the line? With DNA it's academic-- the government has found a way to get it instantly without your permission. We'll talk about that and more tonight at 10.

FRIDAY JUNE 2, 2006 2:50 AM (ET) Three big hours of trivia tonight at 10. In the meantime I promised I'd mention a few bill numbers. The North American Cooperative Security Act. H.R.2672 (Katherine Harris introduced it in the house) and S.853 (Dick Lugar introduced it in the senate). Click on either to see how the fix is in on open borders. And if you want to read and weap over the plans to make it virtually impossible for a third party or independent to ever get campaign financing, check out H.R.4694.

THURSDAY JUNE 1, 2006 3:31 AM (ET) Remember Larry Nichols? The Clinton confidante who told all before Bill was elected-- the guy who introduced us to Gennifer Flowers and the scandal du jour? As you may recall, he joined me earlier in the month to implore you to call your senator to stop amnesty and secure the border. You did, the senate didn't, and as you'll also recall, Larry promised to name names, and tell tales on the senators who didn't pay attention to the voters. Will he? And what does he have on these lawmakers-- find out tonight at 10 when Larry joins me live for the whole show.

MAY 2006

WEDNESDAY MAY 31, 2006 2:45 AM (ET) Have you wondered how many citizens are for the senate bill granting amnesty to illegals? Of course they don't call it that, but that's what it is. You're not for it, your friends are not for it, so who is? What percentage of American citizens support it? The truth is you'll never know. What you'll hear is that the overwhelming amount of citizens are for amnesty. And people aren't worried about the border and don't support a border enforcement only bill. The media campaign of deception tonight at 10.

TUESDAY MAY 30, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) Have you ever wondered why a free society needs laws? Most people instinctively know that laws are meant to protect society from harm. Of course most people think that's protection of harm from others. But increasingly laws are passed to protect you from harming yourself. Take mandatory seat belt laws. Never mind the thousands of decisions a driver makes behind the wheel, the state thinks that driver is incapable of deciding the best way to protect himself from injury. Proponents back up this helpful law with copious quantities of statistics. But clearly in the state's quest to protect you they're ignoring significant data, such as the fact that most traffic accidents happen within 3 miles of home. How in good conscience can the state ever let you go home knowing that-- and if they throw caution to the wind on that one, how can they possibly allow you to go to the bathroom or kitchen once you get there, when statistics show that the overwhelming amount of household accidents happen in those two rooms? When will it stop? When you stop it. Hear more tonight at 10.

MEMORIAL DAY! MONDAY MAY 29, 2006 1:15 AM (ET) Think back to your childhood. How would it be different if you discovered your parents had no right to tell you what to do. That scenario is a kid's dream-- and an adult's nightmare. And it's exactly the basis for the UN's convention of the rights of the child. Among the highlights-- children have the right of free association-- no more telling Junior he can't hang out with hood down the block. Children have freedom of religion-- no more yelling at the kids to get dressed for church. Children have freedom of thought-- so much for stopping the little ones from reading objectionable literature, or taking them out of sex ed-- you can't do that without your kid's permission-- that actually happened in England, by the way. Just imagine how it would have been if you knew your mom and dad had no right to discipline you. It makes a 10 year old smile, and a 30 year old cringe. But this couldn't happen in America, right? Think again. Even though the senate hasn't ratified the UN treaty, virtually every nation in the world has, and our courts are already citing it in decisions. Among those at risk-- homeschoolers. You think you've had problems from the state? Wait until you come face to face with globalism. Hear more tonight at 10.

THURSDAY MAY 25, 2006 2:15 AM (ET) The senate will vote today on S.2611. We'll talk about the results tonight. If you're reading this early in the morning, it's not to late to call your senator and let them know that you want them to vote NO. 888-355-3588 will get you to any senator's office right now.

Meanwhile, if you happen to be an illegal and you need cash-- have I got a plan for you! Sue the state you in which you live. This is not a joke (but I wish it was). Let's start at the beginning. Victor Cabellero came to America. He moved in this cousin in New Jersey. His father followed, then his mother. No one in this story is here legally. Victor got a job and a coworker, Ricardo Martinez, drove him to work. They were in a car accident. Turns out Martinez was uninsured and not legal either. But he wasn't arrested-- so he did exactly what you'd expect-- he fled. Victor's medical bills and lost wages totalled about $40,000. What to do? Call a lawyer. It's the American way! Have all your bills paid by a charitable fund. End of story? Hardly. You then apply for money from the state fund compensating accident victims of uninsured motorists. But you'll be turned down because of the obvious-- you're in the country illegally. So sue. But you'll have to testify in court. No problemo. And if you lose you'll have to appeal. Fine. You can take it as far as the state supreme court, like Victor. No one will deport you at any point in this process while they're weighing your right to sue. And then they'll rule-- just because you've come her illegally, you're still covered for pain and suffering by taxpayer dollars. That decision is pain and suffering for the rest of us. Hear more tonight at 10.

WEDNESDAY MAY 24, 2006 4:00 AM (ET) The senate will likely vote on S.2611, the immigration bill, which has virtually no meaningful border security. The next 24 hours will be your last opportunity to call your senators (and any senators) to let them know that you do not want them to pass this bill (if you agree with us that border security is the foremost issue). Tell them you want a bill that secures the border only. Once that is done they can worry about legal immigration reforms, and then what to do with the illegal invasion. But first-- S.O.B. Secure The Border. 888-355-3588 is the DC switchboard. They can connect you to your senators (even if you don't know who they are. Check out numbersusa.com too. They'll send a fax in your name. Please do it NOW. Thanks.

We had D.A. King on last night. He's a guy who put his life on hold to crusade to secure our borders and he's done a lot of good creating interest in his home state of Georgia and beyond. Check out his sites, thedustininmansociety.org and theamericanresistance.com. You'll especially enjoy the links to his articles on the latter.

Infact, it was D.A. who first put the idea in my head for tonight's promo... The world's greatest lie used to be "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you." But the senate has surpassed that completely. Let's see: It's not amnesty. "Guest workers will leave when they're supposed to." "They're only taking jobs American's won't do." "People opposing us are racists." "It's impossible to fully secure the border." "No wait. We can do it with 6000 unarmed part time national guardsmen building roads." The road to hell tonight at 10.

But I'm not done. The recent theft of 26.5 million veterans' identities reminded me that grand scale theft is legal in America. Imagine someone being able to take something from you without your permission, and sell it to someone else without your knowledge, and be free from any responsability if you were harmed. For the data mining industry it's business as usual. According to current law, you don't own your own identity. Your credit card history, social security number, personal address and virtually everything you've ever done can be compiled by a third party without you having a clue. And they owe you nothing-- not even an explanation, because you're not their customer. Everyone from your insurance company to law enforcement agencies are. That last group is probably part of the reasons you're not protected here. Now imagine how you'd feel if you discovered the information they had on you was wrong, and you had no right to correct it. Or imagine them giving your file to someone intent on stealing your identity. It's happened millions of times. And until recently they didn't have to bother to tell you when they found out they did it. It's convenient-- for everyone but you. Talk to you tonight!

TUESDAY MAY 23, 2006 2:00 AM (ET)Wondering why the senate won't secure the border? They think there's a big upside to leaving it open-- and you'll never guess what it is. When we talk about securing the border, all the reasons come down to what's going on here in America. But it's equally important to look at what's happening there, on the other side, to see the whole picture. The last thing we need is an unstable neighbor who hates America with easy access to us. But politicians are bent on giving us just that. They arrogantly think they can fix anything-- and this time it's a lot close to home than Iraq. Their plan is to stabilize the economic chaos south of the border by allowing an endless flow of migrants to come here. In truth, those undocumented marchers here a while ago would have better served their families by marching on their home soil. But they know what we don't want to believe. Mexico is currently unfixable. Proximity alone makes this more than a philosophical discussion. Arrogance can be deadly. Hear more tonight at 10.

And don't forget to check out Frosty Woolridge's website 21stCenturyPaulRevereRide.US. If you can join him along the way-- be it on a motorcycle, car, truck, big rig, that would be great. He'll be hitting all the state capitols in the lower 48, and concluding the ride with a major rally in Washington. If you want to be part of a visible protest to secure our borders, this might be perfect! If all your questions aren't answered online and you truly want to be part of the ride, his brother is doing the scheduling. Call him at 301-695-1739.

MONDAY MAY 22, 2006 5:00 AM (ET) Things that make you go Hmmm... When C&C Music Company released that hit, I didn't realize it could be the theme song for any news cast you choose. Case in point.. dateline: Tampa. Two Saudi's wearing trenchcoats jumped on a school bus and were taken into custody when the bus arrived at Wharton High. The bus continued on to school? Why did the driver not stop immediately, evacuate, call authorities? Did she think it was multi-cultural day? Does anyone think we have any plans to combat terrorism? And two guys in mid May in stifling hot Florida wearing trenchcoats? With shorts on under them, by the way. One group called it a cultural mixup, a case of newcomers not familiar with American laws, thinking school buses were public transportation. Nice try, but they've been enrolled at the University of South Florida since January. Then there's the politically correct statements from the sheriff's office-- "We're not sure if this was a situation of them just being new to this country or if they were confused or what." Yes what. Couldn't possibly be a dry run for terrorism, could it? Hmm Hmm Hmm. Hear more tonight at 10. Speaking of Hmmm... Ray Nagin was reelected?!?! We'll have a few things to say about that too.

THURSDAY MAY 18, 2006 2:00 AM (ET) There are many more border patrol agents and significantly less arrests. It's not new math, but old politics-- while the president talks about how he's increased border patrol, he's failed to mention how agents' hands are now tied. Meanwhile the figure of $2,000 is suggested as a penalty for illegals, many of whom paid $4,000 to smugglers to cross the border. We're not doing them any favors letting them risk their lives to get here and we're not doing us any favors keeping them here if they make it. Lots you're not hearing but will tonight at 10.

It was good to talk to Robert Vasquez last night. He's exactly what we need in the House of Representatives. If you haven't checked out his website www.vasquezforidaho.org, do so-- and if you can make a donation, even better. Big business and politics will not be donating-- but citizens should be-- he's our kind of guy.

Also good to talk to Anthony Verna. His website www.nyctrademarks.com is a great place to start if you're thinking about registering a business name, or your latest invention.

And speaking of inventions, how many times have you thought, their ought to be an easy way to report bad drivers. It's pretty hard with four wheelers, of course, but for big rigs, it's generally pretty easy. Now it's gotten easier to publicize the problems. Check out www.truckerswatchingtruckers.com.

While I'm doing links, I plum forgot to mention a site I've really enjoyed! It's www.sillybarbs.com. Not only is their great info (and a nice link to our SOB poster and kind words about me) but I really love the opening music. (Usually I hate audio on websites, but this one always puts me in a good mood.) There are really great links and a fly you'll enjoy driving crazy with your mouse. You'll see. Check it out.

Do you know who voted in the last presidential election? If not, you're in good company-- more likely, very bad company. No one expects you to know who votes, but everyone expects the government to have a clue. Well, that expectation greatly exceeds even a hint of reality and I'll prove it. When you first go to get a driver's license, you've got to bring a birth certificate and now a social security card. When you go to register to vote, you don't have to bring nada. In fact states that tried to mandate an ID have been shot down by the federal government. For all they know, you're John Doe. But it's worse. When you're out driving, if you're stopped by police, you've got to show your license, registration and proof of insurance. When you actually go to vote, there is no regulation asking you to prove you're registered, let alone who you are. I'm all for safety on the roads, but exactly when did that trump voter fraud in importance? We've got our priorities all wrong-- or perhaps all right, if you're a globalist intent on eclipsing our form of government.

WEDNESDAY MAY 17, 2006 3:20 AM (ET) Nothing is more important than a secure state. If America does not secure her borders, there will be no government. Loss of sovereignty is quickly followed by loss of identity, culture and values. Sounds like what we talk about on the radio, but those lines came out of a political candidate's mouth, one of Hispanic heritage born in El Paso and he's serious about securing our borders. Meet Robert Vasquez, running for Congress from Idaho, tonight at 10. He's endorsed by Tom Tancredo and I think you'll be impressed. Check him out at www.vasquezforidaho.org.

Step right up! Hurry Hurry! it's the biggest sporting event in Washington, held daily in congress-- it's the Indoor Olympics. You've never heard of the "Indoor olympics?" Let's enter any congressional discussion-- here's one now: "Our borders are secure and therefore we should turn our attention to immigration policy"... a stunning victory in the "jumping to conclusion" category, executed so nicely, you forget that if our borders were secure it would be impossible to have the amount of illegals presently here. Ooh.. look at the "running away from responsibility" group. So many contestants I don't know where to begin! Let's move to another crowd favorite, "throwing us off balance"-- a complex maneuver that seems effortless when we're told that 'we've got to give up rights to fight terrorism' but 'illegals pouring into America are really just guest workers'. Impressive moves. And of course there's that perennial fave, the 'field day'. Congress has too long been having one with us. It's time to congratulate them on great playing. And time to take the time to get involved. Do that, game's over. Tell your senators they were wrong to defeat the border security first amendment and hold them to revisiting that concept now!

TUESDAY MAY 16, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) I admire George Bush. He delivered that speech with real sincerity. How the heck could anyone say they admit that the US has not been in complete control of its borders without astonishment. That would imply that we've had some control. With 20 million people here illegally, some with the genuine intent to do us harm, if that's any amount of control, I'd like to understand the criteria. Maybe it's the six million people we've caught. But does anybody believe that's six million different people? More like 300,000 who each crossed 20 times. New math and old problems tonight at 10.

Will Hillary Clinton be our next president? I've got the inside answer, even if you don't like the question. Should you be wondering if Hillary's in in '08, or anyone else you can name for that matter, there's a failsafe way to predict the outcome of any presidential election, and it all centers America's dirty little voting secret. OK, maybe electronic voting machines without paper records might be a factor in the future, but that's to scary to contemplate so let's get back to the present-- or more tellingly, the past. Take the last election. Nobody voted for Bush-- they voted against Kerry. And I gotta hand it to somebody, finding a candidate Bush could defeat couldn't have been easy. So you hear a lot of people saying they'd never vote for Hillary. Well how many would say they'd never vote for Jeb Bush? And just today the president was saying what a great candidate his brother would make.... which is true if you're in Ms. Clinton's camp. Divining the outcome is easy when you keep the lesser of two evils in mind. No one has voted for someone in a long time. Me, I'm against 'em all. Talk to you tonight!

SUNDAY MAY 14, 2006 5:00 PM (ET) Happy Mother's Day. Here's hoping it's a wonderful weekend where you are. That'll end by tomorrow when we're subjected to Bush's speech. On a happier note, the email questions are up for those who qualify, but please reread the rules first. And good luck.

Meanwhile, as you may have heard, Congress has just approved the use of the military to protect our borders. Exactly why congress needs to approve what should be the constitutional basis of our sovereignty, is a good question. Declare war, yes. Protect the borders, not exactly the stuff of Posse Comitatis restrictions-- or is it? Worse yet, it's all a ruse. We don't know how many personnel or how long they'll be there or any meaningful details. But we do know this 'good news' is punctuated by a presidential cry for amnesty for illegals. Not so fast.. we'll unravel a disasterous congressional bill on immigration and when we're done, I think you'll agree it's a disaster even if you don't think the borders are a mess-- and we'll dissect Bush's speech which you know will be worse, tomorrow night at 10.

How to win every argument-- guaranteed! Or how congress gets away with duping us every time. We've talked a lot about this but in case you missed it, it's called faulty premise. If I tell you that the sky is green and therefore your lawn must be another color, you'd quickly tell me the sky is NOT green, end of discussion. Absurd? Well if you weren't paying attention, or if I said it in a way that wasn't obvious, you'd fall for it. Don't think so? Well, what if I told you that it was impossible to physically secure the border. And added, a fence was too costly, or would always be penetrable, and then said, so we need to find other ways to be secure, you'd agree if you believed my premise. And what if I added that we didn't need to physically secure the border to stop illegals from entering? If you believed me, you'd be buying into the biggest faulty premise of our time and it wouldn't matter what I said after that. And if you were too busy to really think about what you heard, you'd buy it in no time. Don't let congress get away with it Tell them we can secure the border, and we must before we even begin to discuss immigration. Go to www.numbersusa.com www.fairus.org www.weneedafence.com www.teamamericapac.org and call 888-355-3588. It's easy to write and call your senators, even if you don't know who they are!

THURSDAY MAY 11, 2006 1:00 AM (ET) You want it, you got it (sounds like a record by the Detroit Emeralds) but in fact in this case it's a replay of Thursday April 20th's interview with Larry Nichols. Three big hours of Larry-- nobody's quite like him, you know. Check the April 20th entry below for more info and enjoy the show. You asked for it-- here it is again.

WEDNESDAY MAY 10, 2006 1:05 AM (ET) We'll have our winners unveiled at the start of tonight's show, but if you're thinking of what to get mom for Mother's Day, don't forget the great, truly unique bears from VermontTeddyBear.com or the wonderful lingerie from PajamaGram.com. But if mom's a gonner for flowers, knock her socks off from LuxuryRoses.com. All great products and cherished sponsors. Thanks

WEDNESDAY MAY 10, 2006 1:00 AM (ET) Imagine being a journalist-- not a small time player, a major television star.. an individual known for disseminating all the news that matters. Now imagine belonging to a group that influences world politics, and our own, big time. And imagine being sworn to secrecy about what the group is doing. Couldn't happen? Wait until you hear the big names associated with a group that makes a full secrecy oath a condition of membership. The outrages you do hear about unfair unbalanced news pale in comparison to the ones you don't, but you will tonight at 10.

TUESDAY MAY 9, 2006 1:40 AM (ET) Bush's approval rating is down to 31% according to Gallup. Where did they find that many people to approve of him? The UN has just issued a report saying they issue too many reports and they're gonna stop. Oh if only. And worse news if you're worried about who is sneaking into the country. Never mind no papers checked at the border. Are you ready for no papers checked before being inducted into the army. Our army. Guess who is in the military without our knowledge. What that could mean-- tonight at 10.

MONDAY MAY 8, 2006 1:00 AM (ET) So you think you've heard every reason to secure the border? There are a few you probably haven't considered. Take a look at what's happening in South America, for instance. So much for those trade agreements. And even those who mistakenly think guest workers are a good idea, haven't begun to work out the fine points. Like what happens when they bear a child here? Or what happens if they lose their job?-- do they stay and get unemployment or go home --and who pays for that? And we haven't even started. But we will tonight at 10.

Trivia questions are up for those who qualify to play online-- click on "She Said What" to your left, and good luck.

FRIDAY MAY 5, 2006 Cinco de Mayo. We'll forget that part for the time being. We have our own holidays to celebrate. And they don't include the illprepared French either. But for history sake, Cinco de Mayo is not independence day, as some think-- that happened in 1810. Understanding the battle that Cinco de Mayo commemorates belies everything those immigrants who feel America stole Mexico from them claim as history, and that's worth knowing. (In this case, we helped Mexico avoid French control, and helped our own Union soldiers by doing so.) As for the battle on May 5, 1862, it was diabolically wonderful for the Mexican side. The Mexican troops numbered 4,000, the French 8,000. Though double in size, they were handily defeated by two things-- tactical ingenunity and mud. Gen. Zaragosa (Texas born, by the way) sent Col. Diaz (later to be Mexican president and dictator) to the French flanks. The French followed him and were butchered, but more importantly, the remaining French charged Zaragosa's men through sloppy mud. The French don't like to get dirty. In fact they were decked out in fancy uniforms, ill-suited to soil. Then there were the distasteful cattle stampedes and indians with machetes. The French lost the battle and Mexico got a holiday.) Note the date, this was during the build up to the civil war. Napoleon III (who until this time hadn't lost a war in years) hated America and was fortifying the confederate states with munions and various aid, hoping to bring an end to the union (probably so he could invade here too) but the loss of this and other battles, virtually put an end to that. These are rough cliff notes, we haven't even gotten into Maximilian and Carlota or Gen. Phil Sheridan. Everyone had their own self-interest at heart-- so should you ever be asked the biggest factor related to Cinco de Mayo, just say... mud. Lodo.

How's that for trivia? We'll have three hours of it tonight-- Friday night trivia. The hardest part about winning is getting through on the phone, so call early. Talk to you at 10.

THURSDAY MAY 4, 2006 10:03 PM (ET) You've heard about Frosty Wooldridge's "21st Century Paul Revere Ride 2006", leaving Denver on May 29th and ending in DC on August 5th, traversing the entire lower 48, including state capitals. Looks like over a hundred thousand motor cyclists will be along for at least part of the ride, and perhaps over 50,000 at the capital when it wraps up. If you want to visibly show your distaste for illegal immigration, and more importantly want to get the message out that the key to everything is Securing Our Borders, there are two ways you can help:

1. If you can ride a motorcycle and have access to one, join Frosty for a little or a lot of the trip. Click here for more info.

2. More pressing, if you have access to an RV, a 30 footer would be perfect, Frosty needs to use it. It needs to provide sleeping quarters for the four original riders, including Frosty. He's got a driver and the fuel costs are covered, but he needs the RV itself. Or if you'd like to drive the RV you provide, this will be quite an adventure. And if you're an RV dealer, this could be a great patriotic promotion. If you're in any position to help, please email Frosty here and be a part of saving America.

THURSDAY MAY 4, 2006 4:10 AM (ET) Bordering on insanity-- in the event of avian flu here we'll restrict national travel-- but we'll leave the borders open... Monday's immigrant boycott heralded for having economic impact-- only impacted immigrants economically... and California which actually is not bordering on insanity but is wholeheartedly embracing it with SB 1437, a bill that would take all gender references out of schools. No mom, no dad, no prom queen-- wait, that is gender neutral now, isn't it?.. including textbooks heralding the contribution of gays. (Funny thing about that, I don't remember reading about anyone's sexuality, either way, back in the day.) If we're not gotten by the invasion from without, we'll be felled by the implosion from within. Like I said, bordering on insanity tonight at 10.

WEDNESDAY MAY 3, 2006 2:35 AM (ET) Illegal aliens want to extend Monday's momentum... most of us found the day to be a wonderful change, and from the bottom of our hearts we hope they'll consider taking the month off. Perhaps the year... anybody for forever? Meanwhile in one Virginia town, all the lawmakers supporting rights for illegals were just voted out of office. That's the momentum to keep going. But before you say it's just workers crossing the Mexican border, wait until you hear about the Iraqis, and you will-- tonight at 10.

TUESDAY MAY 2, 2006 3:10 AM (ET) In the event of Avian Flu, what will the government do. There is an official plan and it includes almost everything. "Almost" is the operative word in that sentence. Never mind what the government would do. Concentrate on what it won't. It won't close the borders. And wait until you hear why. You'll also hear about McDonald's supporting the Mayday rallies-- but that's not the worst of the hiring practices. A report on who is working at some franchises could have you keeping the kids indoors. All that tonight at 10.

The Minutemen are going to build that fence. If you can't be there helping, your dollars (even a few) will make a difference. Click here to donate. Thanks.

MONDAY MAY 1, 2006 12:30 AM (ET) It's Mayday alright. Taking a bus across WIlshire Boulevard in LA today? The city has a fine plan to get you around the protests. They'll take you to one side of Wilshire, you'll walk through the protests and wait for another bus on the other side. A fine plan to accomodate illegals and inconvenience citizens. Mayday Mayday-- used to be an international distress signal-- now it's a national one. Help the constitution is going under. Cinco de Uno coverage on the next RJ show.

This week's trivia questions are up under "She Said What" to your left-- check it out if you qualify, and good luck!

APRIL 2006

THURSDAY APRIL 27, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) We've talked about who doesn't want to secure our borders-- which basically is everyone but the voters. But it's one thing to not secure them, and another thing to put forth a bill to eliminate them-- amazingly, that's what we've got right now in the house and the senate. Who'd do that? Katherine Harris in the House, Dick Lugar in the Senate. We've talked about the Council of Foreign Relations wanting to eliminate our borders by 2010. Well here are two CFR members who happen to be in congress making it happen. You better hear this tonight at 10.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 26, 2006 2:10 AM (ET) A heckler seeking religious freedom interrupted a Chinese ceremony and was quickly hauled off and arrested. The hosting leader apologized to the diplomat for the incident and the ceremony went on as planned. This sounds like every day life in Communist China-- the only problem was it happened at the White House, an American was arrested, and President Bush was the one apologizing. Maybe we don't need to secure our borders, the country's already gone. Details tonight at 10.

You wonder why we don't hear the what's really going on from the White House-- look no further than their new press secretary. The guy in charge of giving us information is sworn to secrecy. That's right, Tony Snow is a member of the CFR. You know, the Council of Foreign Relations. That organization who admits very little but is willing to say that they want to erase the US/Mexican and US/Canadian borders by 2010. More good news tonight.

There was a request for a list of the World Heritage Sites here. If you somehow missed this-- click here.

TUESDAY APRIL 25, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) If the public ever discovered what the government was really doing, they'd riot. A lot of insiders have said it for a lot of reasons over the years, like the federal reserve which we'll discuss, but nothing has ever been as blatant as our current open border. The activists are partially right-- we are intolerant. Increasingly intolerant of congress misleading us. A nation as powerful and resourceful as America can not secure it's borders? Border security may be their undoing. Lack of it will be ours. The wake up call we've needed tonight at 10.

And please take a moment to give the Minutemen a few bucks. They need your support financially and emotionally. Along with Colin Hanna, they're going to build that border fence (some portions of it, anyway-- and this will be a saga worth watching for all sorts of reasons) starting Memorial Day. The link to donate is in the next entry... keep reading!

APRIL 24, 2006 10:35 PM (ET) If you want to donate to the Minuteman, that would be great-- Here's a direct link!

And if you want to volunteer, go to www.minutemanhq.com.

APRIL 23, 2006 10:15 PM (ET) The trivia questions are up. Click on "She Said What" to your left if you qualify-- and good luck.

The senate keeps telling us it's impossible to fully secure our borders. Not only is this eminently possible, it's also absolutely necessary. Colin Hanna of WeNeedAFence.com joins me for the entire show. His group, along with the Minutemen (who will also be on the air with us) have decided to do what the government says can't be done. That's right, they're building an effective fencing system right now. Find out how tomorrow night from 10 to 1.

The senate keeps implying that we can't secure our borders. Not only can we, but it should be their only priority at this point. They'll be back in session tomorrow trying to ram an immigration bill through that would do nothing to solve the open border problem.

APRIL 20, 2006 10:00 PM (ET) Larry Nichols joins me tonight-- and a lot of you will want to reach out to him. You can't do it online, but he's one of the few guys who is willing to have me give out his home address and phone number: 58 Kensington Drive, Conway, AR 72034 (501) 329-1159. Larry gets a LOT of calls and a LOT of mail, so if his mailbox is full (voice or snail) don't be surprised. At this point he won't have time to respond to everyone, but I know he'll read what you send and listen to what you say.

APRIL 20, 2006 1:50 AM (ET) Well we survived April 19th (a day of infamy from the Battle of Lexington and Concord to the Murrah Federal Building Collapse (with a lot inbetween like FDR taking us off the gold standard and the attack on the Branch Davidian compound). Of course, we're not out of the woods yet, as the date later turned out to be instrumental in the planning of numerous atrocities from Ruby Ridge to Columbine to the return of Elian Gonzalez. Hopefully we're not simply unaware of what's to come. Of things we are aware (like the Senate's lack of interest in truly securing our borders), it's bad enough. But in case you want to hear how it could be worse, check out the show tonight and hear how bad it might get, and hopefully how to make it better.

Larry Nichols joins me. He's the guy who told the world all about Bill Clinton before most people knew his name-- and I do mean all about him-- the Gennifer Flowers story, Hillary's cattle futures, Whitewater, among other tidbits like the strange Arkancide demises of Bill & Hill's detractors and he continues to come up with information that ultimately proves correct. Now he says he's got Senator Clinton's FBI files, and will tell you all about Hillary. He'll also give you insight into why we're not securing the borders and hopefully provide direction on what you can do to change that. Join Larry and me for the entire show, tonight from 10 to 1 (ET).

APRIL 19, 2006 2:00 AM (ET) Secure the border first then worry about illegal immigration, and if you aren't concerned about a dangerous trend in that arena let me mention the latest charter school in Phoenix-- the one that's building a private university for illegal immigrants. You think I'm making this up, but I've got details-- involving Peru's Catholic University. But we're too busy fighting in the middle east to notice-- oh, have you heard that the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan? Misplaced priorities tonight at 10. Call, write, fax, visit your senators today. Keep reading for all the contact info. Thanks

APRIL 18, 2006 5:00 AM (ET) Almost forgot to mention, if you're in the Philadelphia area on Thursday April 27th, there are two showings of the world premiere of The Charlie Gracie Story. (7PM & 8:30PM at Plymouth Meeting) It's worth seeing, and not because I'm in it (though I am-- as for what I said, I'm not sure-- haven't seen it myself yet, but will on the 27th). Charlie as you know was the first homeboy rock and roller to come out of Philly in the '50s. He's the inspiration for more big time British rockers than you can imagine (and you'll see many of those who are still alive in the documentary) and he would have been much bigger here had he not had the integrity (and nerve) to ask for his royalties. Check out the movie trailer here and visit Charlie's website here.

APRIL 18, 2006 1:55 AM (ET) Please call your senators this week. 888-355-3588. Print out an SOB poster here. Visit their offices if possible. And write letters. This is our one week chance to make an impact before the next session. Please do it. Plenty of links below. Keep reading. We'll talk about it again tonight. We'll also talk about the atrocity of education.

Just how left leaning are college campuses? (You know, the ones that are framing the border issue as racist xenophobia.) Take Ohio State, Mansfield where suggested reading for entering Freshmen was discussed. When a pile of ultra liberal books were included, librarian Scott Savage countered suggesting World Net Daily's "The Marketing of Evil", #4 on the New York Times best seller list. You may or may not agree with everything in it, but it's well researched, and presents an unemotional view not represented in liberal media. The result of that suggestion? The faculty voted 21-0... to charge him with sexual harassment... over a best selling book recommendation.. did I mention that Savage is an observant Quaker-- you know the kind-- he drives to work in a horse and buggy, eschews modern technology. Kind of like the Amish-- and it would take a mighty leap to think of his ilk as sexual harassers. That one professor did, is hard to believe. That all of them would agree tells you all you need to know about American universities today. But we'll tell you more tonight at 10.

APRIL 16, 2006 10:30 PM (ET) So you wonder why immigration didn't arrest illegals en masse during the recent rallies? They were ordered not to show up. And you think that illegals cross the border in search of a job? You may be surprised to know they already have one. They're recruited there to come here and given money to make the trip. And it's not only major corporations doing the hiring. Ma and Pa businesses are in on it too. All so focused on savings that they fail to realize the cost of an open border is not only financial. Anyone can get into the country, and it won't be long until we face someone who's looking to work... us over, with the means to do it. Revelations tomorrow night at 10.

APRIL 15, 2006 2:00 AM (ET) The email questions are up for trivia players who qualify. Click on "She Said What" to your left-- and good luck.

I promised some links (most of which are below but to make it more convenient):

APRIL 13, 2006 2:15 AM (ET) A young illegal, founding living in a high school near Boston tugged the hearts of many. The family that took him in discovered he was someone who repaid a good turn with lies and worse. So he was deported. Or so everyone thought until he turned up in the same neighborhood at one couple's home with a ski mask and knife saying I'm not here to rob you, I'm here to kill you. But these are all innocents who just want to work. Teddy Kennedy told us so-- just hard working tax paying individuals, like the aforementioned story which happened in Kennedy's home state The other side of illegal immigration tonight at 10.

Perhaps the most chilling aspect of the protests staged by illegals is their resolve that no other voice be heard. The concept that any other opinion is 'hate speech' and reason for violent reactions is the most blatant example of anti-American values of our time. But when you look at the countries from which most of these people come, American style public discourse is not possible. These individuals who want to be American are clueless as to the foundation of our freedoms. And worse yet, our politicians through concepts like 'hate speech' are backing them. What was rhetorical has become all too real.

One other thing, please do not resort to violence under any condition. Not only will it put you in big trouble, but it is absolutely counter productive. This is not about protecting illegals. This is about protecting our republic. Should uncontrolled violence result, the answer may well be martial law, and that is something we do not need. So keep it verbal and non-threatening. But perhaps more importantly let your senators know that we are not interested in dealing with immigration until our borders are secure. SOB. Secure The Borders, worry about everything else later. That is the message lawmakers need to hear now.

APRIL 12, 2006 1:55 AM (ET) Denny Hastert, speaker of the house and Bill Frist, Senate Majority leader are in agreement-- with each other, not with voters. Both agree that there should be no felony prosecution of illegal aliens. Both also say they want border security. Unfortunately neither of them-- particularly Frist's Senate are doing anything to achieve it. We can control the borders, and we need to make our lawmakers know that it is there responsibility to do it. More tonight at 10.

DON'T FORGET, YOU CAN PRINT AN SOB FLYER TO DISPLAY BY CLICKING HERE!

APRIL 11, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) So Benedict Arlen (Specter) has stated that he's sure that an immigration bill can be passed once the Senate is back in session "I think tempers will cool over over a two week period." I think not. He also went onto say there would be expressions from people unhappy the senate didn't pass a bill and unhappy the house wants to make illegal immigration a felony. And we're supposed to take that into consideration?! Here's the deal-- Specter and his ilk have been successful at repositioning the debate. Immigration can wait. Illegal or Legal. We must first return to the real issue: securing our borders.

We've got some flyers you can download and print (black and white or color). Click here to see them. Put them in your windows, in your place of business or anywhere they'll be visible.

And write your senators. We'll have a suggestion for what to say, hopefully tomorrow. In the meantime, once again I ate something that's eating me, so I think I'll lie down, and be back to talk to you tonight at 10.

APRIL 10, 2006 1:00 AM (ET) Let me get this straight. Americans are concerned that border security is so lax that anyone can enter the country-- and do. Between 12 and 20 million, in fact, and the big worry is that some of them are here to do us harm. In addition to 15,000 MS-13 vicious gang members are how many terrorists? So the call for border security was heard by congress. Here's the non-sequiter: The result in the senate was all amnesty, no enforcement. And they're not done pushing it. Neither are we, tonight at 10. I've got a plan in mind and I'll probably be back here to tell you more before the show.

APRIL 8, 2006 7:50 PM (ET) I forgot to give you the toll free number for the Capitol Hill Switchboard. This will connect you to the offices of any of your senators or representatives. 888-355-3588. And I'll be back before the weekend's over with a flyer for you to download, suitable for your window-- wherever it may be! Thanks for your help in keeping our republic sovereign.

APRIL 8, 2006 3:45 AM (ET) The email questions are up for those of you who qualify. Click on "She Said What" to your left-- good luck.

Thank you for calling the Senate all night Thursday. It paid off. The immigration compromise bill was not put up for vote. But don't consider it a win yet. Until we can get a bill passed that properly addresses border protection only(and that should be all our borders-- land, air and sea), then we continue to be at risk. It would be relatively easy to institute methods of completely controlling the border, if our lawmakers wanted to do so. Clearly our president does not. It is up to us to persuade congress it is their responsibility to do so. We'll talk about it Monday night. Until then, have a good weekend.

APRIL 6, 2006 1:35 AM (ET) The issue isn't or shouldn't be about illegal immigration-- at least not yet. The first step is to secure our borders. Period. Nothing will keep us safe if our borders are open. But I gotta hand it to lawmakers. Whipping us into a frenzied debate over legalizing lawbreakers causes us to lose sight of the first step-- SOB Secure Our Borders. Call your senators again today and let them know that. It really is working. Latest details tonight at 10.

APRIL 5, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) You are having an effect. All the calls, letters and visits to senators are paying off. They hoped they'd pass an illegal immigrant amnesty bill this week, before adjourning for vacation, and now it looks like they can't do it. Don't stop now. Let every senator you can name know that you want an enforcement only bill-- you want our borders secured, you want illegals removed, and you want a rational legal immigration policy for the future. Period. Updates tonight at 10.

We're going to talk to Bay Buchanan of teamamericapac.org (Tom Tancredo's group of which she is chairman) tomorrow night (Thursday at 10). Check out the site. Keep checking numbersusa.com and fairus.org too. Specter, McCain, Kennedy, et. al. were convinced they'd have this bill wrapped up by the end of the week. Now it looks like they'll never get it passed-- which is the plan, if you are against any form of illegal immigration, that is. Frist's bill with it's massive H1B visa provisions is not much better.

The first goal is to get the senate to recess at the end of the week without anything passed. And it can happen if you continue to put pressure on your senators to let them know that anything other than enforcing our borders is sufficient grounds for you to vote them out. (Of course if we could get them to pass a strong enforcement only bill, that would be even better, but it won't happen by Friday.) Let McCain know that should he run for president, you will not forget his actions on this. And let Frist know that his substitute bill fell way short of his promise, and he too would have a hard time gaining your support should he run for President. Obviously be polite, and of course don't threaten anyone, but do let them know where you stand, and remind them that you are watching what they do, much more than what they say. Oh, one other thing, I promised a link to the letter to Bush asking for his help in your relocation to Mexico. Here you go. While it's funny, it's absolutely true!

APRIL 4, 2006 3:10 AM (ET) Everyone's heard about the half a million illegals who protested in LA. But few people have a clue as to their real organizers. You hear about Spanish Radio. You hear about Hispanic activist groups. But look deeper and you'll come up with globalists. And not nameless faceless globalists. The groups behind the rally were funded by the Ford Foundation-- and a few others. As for those supporting the senate's abominable scamnesty bill-- look no further than the CFR. it's worse than you think and we'll commiserate tonight at 10.

APRIL 2, 2006 11:00 PM (ET and DST, which has us all screwed up. We'll be used to it about the time we're back on standard time-- didn't they get this backwards anyway? Don't we want longer days in the winter? (Spoken like someone who gets up at the crack of noon.)

Hopefully you've made it to your senator's office today. If you're reading this and there's still time, please do what you can to drop by. We're visiting the offices of Mr. Specter and Mr. Santorum in Philadelphia to let their staffers know we want an enforcement only bill-- that our priority is securing the borders completely, removing everyone here illegally or not properly screened, and then working on a legal immigration policy that is both streamlined and effective at background checking. Forget Scamnesty. Considering it's Mr. Specter's bill, we'll add that we're very disappointed in him. Politely of course. Details tonight. Oh, if for some reason you don't know where the nearest offices for your senators might be, go to numbersusa.com. They'll tell you. (Your phone book ususally will too.

Meanwhile, as we've been talking about illegal immigration, the federal reserve, which is neither federal nor reserve stopped releasing M3 data as of last week. M3 is the amount of cash the government prints to put into circulation. In other words, there is no way for you-- or anyone-- to know how much currency exists. That means no one has any idea what a dollar is really worth anymore. We'll tie that to a lot of things including why we'll invade iran, and get back to what's invading us tonight at 10.

And now for something totally different-- if you're looking for a nice font, a school chum of mine from too many years ago to mention, has a real flare for lettering (He was also wonderful at cartooning, lampooning unsuspecting fellow students and teachers while it appeared he was working diligently on some assignment or other, making boredom bearable for the rest of us.) His name is Jeff Levine and he's finally gotten around to actually charging for his work-- and not much at that. So if you're in the market for an original font, click here and you'll be taken to the page with his creations. Gotta love a guy who has a font called Doowop! And you can get 'em in True Type, Open Type or Type 1 for just $21! Check it out. He can use the business, and you can use the originality.

While I'm bossing your around, let me again mention Tamara Wilhite's work. Tamara is a listener in Dallas. She's a hard scientist with a flare for writing and has come up with a group of short stories set in the future that'll run a chill down your spine. Here's a direct link to Humanity's Edge at Amazon. Easy read of uneasy tales. If you're wondering what's next after implantable chips, here are some thought starters.

Next, so many of you have asked for copies of the show with Alan Watt. We will rerun it again and eventually will have it online, but forget eventually-- Alan has it up now. Butch, who suggested Alan in the first place has a link to it here. Check it out.

And finally a big congratulations to Willie C! He's retiring officially from the day to day drag known as.. a job, and will now have all sorts of time to concentrate more on Beach Music, which will not only be fun for him, but great for the rest of us. Think of all the things he's done for Beach Music while employed full time, and just imagine how proliferate he'll be once it's his central focus. Check out his BeachMusicCafe.com site! Good luck Willie. I'm sure I speak for many of us when I say, 'I'm jealous!!' Enjoy every minute of your freedom Willie!

APRIL 1, 2006 9:15 PM (ET) No foolin'-- the trivia questions are aone line. If you're eligible to play, click on "She Said What" to your left-- good luck! I'll be back before Monday's show to talk about what's on my mind... but for now...

There's a push to visit your senator's office in person Monday. If there's any way you can get to any office, it would help make an input. Usually each senator maintains several offices in their home state as well as one in DC. You can probably find the local address in your phone book (or online-- numbersusa.com is a good place to start. Ask them to pass an enforcement only bill. Let them know your first priority is securing our borders, followed by removing all illegals, and then constructing a rational, safe plan for legal immigration-- in that order. Anything else is an insult-- particularly the scamnesty plan for 'guest workers'. Thanks.

MARCH 2006

MARCH 30, 2006 2:50 AM (ET) You thought illegals were rallying to stay in this country. Nada. They were rallying to get US out. The convoluted logic is that English speaking white citizens of European descent and blacks of African descent are non- indigenous to "their" continent, and they want us gone. But the worst part is that our senate is currently trying to find ways to make them legal. We need a bigger rally. A Mother Truckin' SOB rally. That stands for Secure Our Borders. Let's figure out how to do it tonight at 10.

Alan Watt was certainly thought provoking. If you heard the show, you'll want to check out his website. If you didn't, you'd better check it out at CuttingThroughTheMatrix.com

MARCH 29, 2006 2:45 AM(ET) The Senate is asking Americans to look the other way at border crossers, and isn't mentioning that along with workers, come gangs and terrorists. Many of our lawmakers are members of a group that vows to erase our borders by 2010. If you're saying, it's got to be a conspiracy, have I got the guest for you. It's the real grand unified theory-- not physics, it's conspiracies and Alan Watt ties it all together tonight at 10.

MARCH 28, 2006 2:20 AM (ET) Investigators wanted to test their ability to get radioactive material past customs agents. No problemo. Let me count the ways.. In one office, alarms caught the stuff but agents didn't have the tools needed to discover counterfeit paper work. At least there were alarms. Not so, at another port of entry where the director had a novel plan to speed up traffic. He simply turned off the alarms. And we're talking about legalizing aliens? We've got a lot to do first. We'll start tonight at 10.

It was great to talk with Rick Oltman from fairus.org last night. Some really good thoughts. If you missed it, the thing you need to know is it's up to YOU to call your senators, rattle their cages. Let them know, politely, that the only bill you want is one securing the borders. No guest workers, no amnesty, nothing but securing the borders and stiff penalties for those who broach them. The Senate switchboard number is 202-224-3121. Call it. They'll connect you to your senators offices. You've got two. If you don't know who they are, let the operator know your state. Thanks.

Bay Buchanan's Team America has also been doing a great job and getting the word out to the people and making it easy for us to contact our senators. Check out teamamericapac.org for the direct lines to all the senators. It's a very useful link. And feel free to call Bay's hotline at 703-255-0307 for up to date info on this issue.

MARCH 27, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) So millions of people in America, who might or might not be citizens and might or might not be here legally held rallies this weekend for lawbreakers. Sneaking into the country might not sound like a crime to you, but you'd think differently if you were playing by the rules and waiting to get in her legally. Selective enforcement is bad no matter what the reason. Wholesale approval, worse yet. Which brings us to the senate today.. and what you can do about it tonight at 10.

It may seem like this topic comes up a lot lately, but we're at a crucial point in America. Bill Frist is supposed to release his anti-immigration bill today in the senate if the Benedict Arlen Spector bill isn't out of committee. The problem is that our senators will be choosing between worse and worst. There's not even "bad " as an option. And the only force opposing the legalization of as much as 20 million people about whom we know nothing, is you.

DHS reviews show that those responsible for checking out new residents are unable to research the backgrounds of half the people coming in legally. Do you think there's a chance on earth they can handle the additional load. And let's remember, even if you think these are needed workers (a debate at best, but for the moment, please accept the premise that non--citizen workers are needed while I ask this next question)-- how can we possibly tell the difference between those sincerely working and those working on destroying us? There are a lot of MS-13 gang members here right now. Over 10,000, ready to slit your throat in an instant. And that's just one nefarious group. You think we have any idea how to tell them apart from innocent day laborers?

It's fascinating to me that we're not even bringing up the fact that we have no idea whom we're letting in, and no real method to find out. And no one will care about this other than you, the American citizen. There better be a lot of you calling your senators and every senator in DC right now. Let them know that should they pass any bill that allows illegals to stay or increases the number of immigrants coming here for any reason, you will work hard at getting their opponent elected. Be polite, but firm that any bill other than one stopping illegal immigration with no other provisions, is unacceptable to you (if it is-- not trying to put words in your mouth, but if you really feel this is a problem then calmly let your senators know how you feel).

You can go to numbersusa.com or fairus.org for ways to reach your senators. If you've got a phone book, the number is in the government listings (the blue pages, usually-- or often a section at the front of the book). The main number for US Capitol Switchboard is 202-224-3121. They'll connect you directly with the senate office you request. But more importantly, call the senator's local office in your state. Remember, there is no opposing force to these bills then us the citizens. Consider it a test. We'll soon see if Americans pass it.

Let me add,our system for legal immigration is frustrating and unrealistic, at best. It is seriously in need of streamlining. not only do we need to know who is coming here, but for those we want to come, the system needs to be simple and quick. There is no doubt about this. Far too many people are chosing between waiting many many years or ducking the system to get her illegally in order to be reunited with mates, or for other reasons that most Americans would feel appropriate for their entrance. this should not continue. Solving it by accepting illegals, however, does nothing positive long term. First we need to secure the border. Then we need to revamp the system. Anything else is a slap in the face to all concerned, especially those who framed us as a republic.

MARCH 25, 2006 11:30 PM (ET) The email questions are up. Click on "She Said What" to your left, if you qualify. Good luck! I'll be back before Monday to tell you what's on tap then. Have a pleasant weekend!

MARCH 23, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) The Naval Undersea Warfare Center. If you think that sounds pretty security intensive, then you'll be surprised to learn four illegal aliens were arrested while working there. Badges, access to vulnerable areas, the whole works. And once again, it's a contractor who supplies the workers. You won't be surprised to know that 50% of the employees were not properly screened. I'm surprised we're still using contract labor. What war on terror?... tonight at 10. We'll also try to get to those FEMA orders and the locations of the camps, unless I again digress.

MARCH 22, 2006 1:10 AM (ET) The IRS is quietly planning to let tax preparers sell the information on your return. That's so startling maybe I better say it another way. Your tax preparer may soon have the right to sell your personal, confidential tax return information to anyone. I know you think its a slow news day and I'm making this up, but I'll prove it to you tonight. Before you go completely ballistic, there's a good provision too. Find out how that's possible tonight at 10.

MARCH 21, 2006 11:58 PM (ET) Talking about the concentration camps authorized by FEMA right now, and I know you're going to want a link. Actually the info is widely available online, but here's one concise page worth reading if you're curious.

MARCH 20, 2006 3:31 AM (ET) Russia says the US has created bird flu. Wait until you hear their evidence. China is now training the military of counties in the Americas, a scenario you won't like. And the chicanery and misconduct at the department of homeland security is so great that they're not capable of handling the workload they have now, let alone have even a clue how to implement Benedict Arlen Spector's guestworker plan. Lots to talk about tonight at 10.

MARCH 18, 2006 3:15 AM (ET) The trivia questions are up for those who can play on line. Click on 'She Said What' to your left, if you're eligible. Good luck-- have a wonderful weekend. I'll be back before Monday's show to tell you more.

MARCH 16, 2006 2:45 AM (ET) Mexico announces the discovery of a huge oil field. Kinda makes you wonder whether they've taken note of how the US treats the truly oil rich countries, doesn't it? Then there's Russia which announces that the US is behind the Avian Flu outbreak. They're relying on the fact that birds are sick there and not a dead duck is here.. with that logic we bring you full circle to last night's tragic tale of Officer Stephanie Mohr (if you didn't hear the show, read yesterday's entry below). If you'd like to help her defense, contributions of any amount are welcomed by the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF.org). Click here for more info. And thank you.

As for tonight.. the trend toward silencing journalists continues. After Rumsfeld called the "news informers" terrorists, and after the government announced plans to go after, as traitors to the country, any journalist mentioning classified information, comes word that Pennsylvania has seized four computers from a Lancaster Newspaper. So much for private sources. We'll tell you what they're looking for and can only wonder what they'll find, tonight at 10. All the details I've got while I can give 'em to you.

And from the odd request of the day-- a company called Arkadia that does world wide real estate listings, found a novel way to get links. They came up with a database of links that includes virtually everyone, and then they asked each of us to link to them. Now I'm not sure what credibility I have when it comes to real estate transactions. Somewhere between little and none, actually. But if you'd like to check them out, here's there link: www.arkadia.com (See, I always do what I promise, even when I have no idea why.)

MARCH 15, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) Imagine being a highly regarded police officer called to the scene of a burglary. You arrive in time to see one of the two perpetrators fleeing. You play it exactly as you were trained. When one of the perps continues to evade, you release your police dog to do a bite and hold, by the book, following the rules. Back up arrives. Turns out the bad guy is a drug dealing illegal alien. You make a good arrest. It results in a solid conviction. But it's not the end of the story. Five years later it's You who is spending 10 years in jail-- for violating the felon's civil rights by doing exactly what you were instructed to do. Oh let me mention, it takes two trials to convict you. Double jeopardy is only the start of this travesty. Hear it all tonight at 10.

MARCH 14, 2006 2:30 AM (ET) Over 1 million of your tax dollars are going for car leases. And apparently our representatives in congress don't want to drive economically. We'll talk about what they lease, how much it costs us, not to mention the gas guzzlers chosen by folks keen on conservation, or the foreign numbers selected by the buy American' crowd, or the big ticket items driven by the representatives touting their close identification with the poor. We'll talk about the poor taxpayers tonight at 10.

And a call to all music historians from my buddy JPR. He seems to remember that Paul (Ray Hildebrand) or Paula (Jill Jackson) died recently-- near as I can tell they're both alive and well. If you know otherwise, let me know. (Hopefully I won't be hearing from any of you, but if it's true, we would like to know.) JPR passes along a great link, by the way. Remember the refreshment jingle from movie theatres of days gone by. Well here it is!

MARCH 12, 2006 8:00 PM (ET) Homeland security? A warehouse in Maine was graded as less secure than those in Turkey, Pakistan and Brazil. But that's not the worst news-- everything coming in at a port is coming from somewhere else-- and it appears that everywhere, It's easy to open and reseal containers undetected. Unmanifested material arriving here is the norm. And forget those radiation checks upon arrival. You'll find out why that's a waste of time. You think border security is bad, wait til you hear about our ports, and you will Monday night at 10. Talk to you then.

And don't forget, we've got Leprechaun bear to give away from Vermont Teddy Bear. We'll take your calls through Wednesday night and the best story of an odd outrageous St. Patrick's Day celebration will win. Vermont Teddy Bears are great for any occasion. And I do mean any. Find out more at VermontTeddyBear.com.

MARCH 11, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) The email questions are up for those of you who qualify to play online. Click on "She Said What" to your left, and good luck. Don't forget you can also win by identifying the bumpers up for grabs during the show, providing no one has guessed correctly on the air. Have a fine weekend-- I'll be back before Monday's show to let you know what's rattling my cage then.

MARCH 9, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) If we can't stop top pentagon employees from lying about their credentials, and we don't check to see if legal immigrants are telling the truth about anything, and we hand out credentials to people entering strategic locations without finding out if they're felons or terrorists, what are we doing? Not background checks, that's for sure. We're not even checking the backgrounds of the people who are supposed to be checking backgrounds. So what are we doing? Unfortunately the answer appears to be that we're planning to stifle those who are mentioning such things. Donald Rumsfeld is calling news informers "terrorists". We'll connect some dots, save you a seat at the "camps" and call him a few things tonight at 10.

MARCH 8, 2006 4:45 AM (ET) 20 middle school students have been suspended for an online incident concerning a website. You may be thinking they created it-- nada. You might think they contributed to it-- nope. You might think they somehow in some way controlled at least some of the content-- negative. What they did was... read it. That's right, they're suspended for reading something online. But that's not half as weird as a guy in Denver who's about to be fired from his government job. Seems there's a problem with his side job. It's not what he does-- lawn care, essentially the same stuff he does for the government. It's not how he does it, or that he does it. It's sthat he advertises his services as "Enlish Speaking" and "done by an American." That, apparently, is offensive talk worthy of termination. Me, I'm offended that they think it's offensive. We've got a lot to talk about-- providing we can still talk-- lots of restrictions on that if the government gets its way-- tonight at 10.

MARCH 7, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) From the files of I'm from the government and I'm here to help you, Canada, as you know, has socialized medicine-- it's designed to give everyone equal treatment. Unfortunately that's equally bad treatment in some cases. Among the things citizens are promised under such a scheme is absolute confidentiality of their medical records... which doesn't quite fit with the recent auction in British Columbia. The one where the most private detail-- HIV status, substance abuse history, mental illness and more-- of 77,000 patients, was sold to the highest bidder. Of course it was a mistake. It was also callous disregard. Another reason you don't want the government in your private life, tonight at 10.

No real update on our stream.. still working on the new server. Once it's operational you can bet I'll have copious details right here. Keep checking-- though not too soon. Thanks!

MARCH 6, 2006 12:15 AM (ET) There are bills in Georgia and Arizona that if passed would tax money that illegal immigrants wire out of the country. Mexico's foreign minister says it discriminates against hispanics. Notice nothing in these bills targets anyone, anywhere, except those here illegally. The fact that Mexico thinks that their citizenry is being targeted tells you all you need to know. And rather than respecting our laws, they're planning on suing the states that pass such bills. Meanwhile Venezuela's middle class is fleeing and you would too once you heard what Chavez is saying. Then there's a Sinatra is challenging Ron Paul in the Republican primary in Paul's Texas district. It's laughable, but the Republicans are willing to do anything to oust the only guy in congress who consistently upholds the constitution and the libertarian principles of our founders. All insanity, all the time.. and some instability too, tonight at 10.

MARCH 4, 2006 3:15 AM (ET) Trivia questions area up. Click on "She Said What" to your left, if you qualify. I'll be back before Monday's show to let you know what's I'll be ranting about in the coming week. Until then, have a fine weekend.

MARCH 3, 2006 9:45 PM (ET) We'll be talking with Ludi Montgomery at 10. She wrote "My Sister Tommie" with Vickie Wright. Tommie Montgomery may not sound familiar, but unless you were under a cone of silence in the '60s, Tammi Terrell will. There's a lot more to Tammi than simply being a singing partner of Marvin Gaye-- and you'll find out about it tonight at 10. If you're even a casual fan you really should read this book. When it came in, I didn't put it down until I was done. It's not how it's written, necessarily-- it's all the info in it. Lots of rumors put to rest and a few confirmed. You can get it at amazon at a great price by clicking here! After that we'll play trivia for a couple of hours. Talk to you in a few..

MARCH 2, 2006 5:10 AM (ET) Last fall I broke my toe. Small toe. Small break. No broken skin. Why am I telling you this? Because of my emergency room visit. The doctor bill alone was $538-- for the surgery. The one where he put a piece of tape around the toe to stabilize it, taking under a minute to complete. When I stopped screaming after receiving the bill, I was told that the charge reflected the allowed minimum charge under state law. What? Now here's the kicker. Due to negotiated contracts, if I was Blue Cross they likely would have settled for $53. But since I have an HSA-- those medical savings accounts the government touts, I'm stuck with what the uninsured pay-- which is 10 times what insurance forks over. I haven't told you about the $70 piece of tape or the wait for the exrays to be read-- in India. That charge, by the way was the only bargain-- under $10. What's really wrong with medicine in America tonight at 10.

MARCH 1, 2006 2:45 AM (ET) Mention "border fence" and you'll be called racist: A fence doesn't change legal immigration whatsoever. Or it would cost too much: Upper end estimates put it equal to four B-2 bombers and we've got a lot more than that. Or it won't work: Ask Israel. Or we are a nation of immigrants: Yes, mostly legal immigrants. Or the economy needs illegals... There's an answer for that and dozens of other objections. Colin Hanna of WeNeedAFence.com joins me tonight at 11.

We'll also take a look at a weird trend--female dominated households. Frankly I wasn't sure what that meant, and now that I know, I'm not sure exactly how it works. Or why. Actually I'm not sure about anything having to do with this concept when you hear how aroundherfinger.com lays it out but it's no weirder than our immigration plans so why not? We'll talk about it, and more tonight.

FEBRUARY 2006

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28, 2006 2:00 AM (ET) You think the Hildebeast, aka Senator Clinton, will become our next president? Not if you take the constitution literally. There's a little problem. If you think it was solved with the 19th amendment which gives women the right to vote, forget it. If you think whatever it is, stops women from being Senators or Representatives too, well you can see the error in that thought by the makeup of congress. So what stops HIllary, and any woman from becoming president? Find out tonight at 10.

And don't forget to check out numbersusa.com and fairus.org for the latest on Benedict Arlen Spector's bill in the Senate which could have been written by Vicente Fox. While we're debating Dubai, the Judiary Committee will be reviewing a bill you better read for yourself. Then let your Senators know how you feel. Click on those links!

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 25, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) The email questions are up. Click on "She Said What" to see if you qualify. I'll be back before Monday's show to tell you what's up then. Have a safe and restful weekend!

Oh speaking of this weekend, if you're in the Philadelphia area don't forget about the Minutemen meeting today-- Noon to 5, Crowne Plaza Hotel (near the King of Prussia Mall-- that's a change from the Valley Forge Convention Center, so make sure you go to the right place and thank them for hosting the group. Give them some business while you're there. (Buy a coke or something.) People not buckling under to whacko pressure should be rewarded.)

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 24, 2006 4:15 AM (ET) What do Brook Benton, Jeanie C. Riley, Johnny Adams, Leroy Van Dyke and Clyde McPhatter all have in common? Some of their biggest hist were produced, among many many others, by Shelby Singleton. Whether you like soul, pop or country, it's a safe bet Shelby produced at least one of your all time favorite records. After years with Mercury, in 1969 he bought Sun Records and that 's when the fun began. Wait until you hear about Orion, a guy who wasn't Elvis but convincing RCA Records of that fact was tricky. Or some Johnny Cash stories I bet you haven't heard. Fun followed by more fun with trivia tonight at 10.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 23, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) If you're on trial, say for murder, you can present the defense of your choice, right? For instance, if you want to say you didn't do it and have reason to believe someone else did, you can say that and have the jury decide, right? Wrong. A judge will rule what kind of defense you can present and its entirely possible the jury will never get to hear what you want to tell them. Finally this atrocity has hit the supreme court. Tonight at 10, we'll fill you in on what has precipitated it-- and it should have come up a long long time ago. Talk to you then.

And a thank you to Larry Shannon at www.RadioDailyNews.com for making me the radio person of the day. Check out his site too. Lots of interesting radio news.

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 22, 2006 3:50 AM (ET) Say you live in Connecticut and your driving through New York. You hit a big time speed trap. Rather than fight, you elect to pay the absurd $200 fine, so it'll be over. But it won't. At the end of the year you get a letter from the state of New York. They call you an at risk driver and insist on a $100 a year payment-- $300 lump sum. How did this get passed? It was sold to the voters as affecting drunk drivers and the like. Seems no one defined "at risk". We're not defining a lot of things lately. Like most of the provisions in the Patriot Act that could put you away forever. Think about that the next time you think you don't have anything to hide. We'll talk about it tonight at 10.

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 21, 2006 2:20 AM (ET) There's a police shortage in Houston. Would you: "A" hire additional officers or "B" ignore it? "B" sounds pretty radical until you hear "C" which is to install police surveillance cameras in apartment complexes, busy streets, shopping malls and even private homes. The police chief isn't worried about Big Brother-- he says if you're not doing anything wrong why should you worry about it? We'll start with the reasons behind the 4th amendment tonight at 10.

MONDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) DNA testing has become the in thing. It's freed convicted killers, put others in jail and probably more than anything else, determined who the father of a child might be. Some guys have welcomed it as they don't want to pay for a child that's not theirs-- though many are forced to do just that anyway. But a chill will run down your spine when you hear that a black man, and a white man, both tested 99% likely to be the same child's father. The implications of that tonight at 10.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 17, 2006 3:50 AM (ET) The email questions are up. Click on She Said What to your left to see if you qualify. I'll be back before Monday's show to tell you what's on tap then. Have a splendid weekend.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 16, 2006 2:00 AM (ET) The truth about jobs is nothing like the rosy soundbites. In 5 years, the US has lost 17% of all manufacturing jobs, creating not one. Communications equipment down 43%, same for textiles. But it's the new information age, right? Information sector-- down 17%. Even retail sales lost jobs. You're worried about terrorism? Be afraid of this-- the only jobs on the rise taxpayer-funded union-protected government positions. Real fear tonight at 10.

If you've been trying to access my stream, you already know what I'm going to tell you. You can't. The server is down. Rather than fix it, we're going to move ahead with the upgrade. Not sure when it will be back, but it will. Until then, click on the tower to your left and see how to access some lovely streams from KRLD and WVHU. Sorry about the inconvenience.

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2006 2:10 AM (ET) Happy Valentine's Day! Here's a story you won't like- about the real Katrina victims: taxpayers. Turns out 900,000 people have committed fraud to get aid. That's a third of the 2.5 million people filing claims. Never mind how their are so many larcenous Americans. Almost a million in fact. What I want to know is how the heck could a program be designed so poorly that they got away with it? Not to mention the $2,000 debit cards used for necessities-- like Louis Vuitton handbags at a grand. The strip club beers were a bargain by comparison. I'll tell you all about it tonight at 10.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2006 11:15 PM (ET) How concerned are Republicans and Democrats about emerging third parties and independents? Enough that there's a bill in the house that would effectively outlaw them. It's deceptively called the "Let The People Decide Clean Campaign Act" but it should be named "Let's make sure the people will not hear anything an independent candidate has to say." And how they go about it is nothing short of brilliant if you're goal is making sure the people can't decide. Full details Monday night at 10.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 11, 2006 2:40 AM (ET) The trivia questions are up under "She Said What" to your left. Click on it and see if you qualify. I'll be back before Monday's show to tell you what's on tap for the coming week, including a move by Republicans and Democrats to eliminate any possibility of third party or independent candidates gaining ground-- very interesting discovery in a lawsuit brought by CAIR-- and more.

Last week we talked quite a bit about the NAIS (scroll below to find out more if it doesn't sound familiar). We should have also included a link for stopanimalid.org. Check them out too!

And don't forget, Tuesday is Valentine's Day. A Vermont Teddy Bear is a great gift. So is a PajamaGram. And both are kind enough to support the show. So if you're looking for something beyond the same ole' same ole' that won't take any longer to order, click on 'em!

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 10, 2006 1:30 AM (ET) Three big hours of trivia tonight. And the three winners of Vermont Teddy Bears for their 'craziest thing you've done for love' stories, as well as the three winners of PajamaGram's for their 'sleeziest cheesiest pick up lines'.

It's not too late to order Vermont Teddy Bear's for Valentine's Day. As easy as ordering flowers, and a lot better! Go to VermontTeddyBear.com. Or send a PajamaGram-- a truly intimate and personal gift that she'll love and you can order easily online. See it all at PajamaGram.com.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 9, 2006 1:15 AM (ET) Apparently defying the wish of the voters is federal policy, and it's not confined to promoting illegal immigration. Voters in several states have chosen to lessen or eliminate some drug laws, including supporting medical marijuana. So what are the feds doing? Spending a fortune in tax dollars for a publicity campaign against such decisions and vowing to prosecute anyone who thinks they're protected by local law. By the people and for the people? Find out how the feds are against us all tonight at 10.

Speaking of illegal immigration, don't forget that numbersusa.com and fairus.org will send faxes in your name (approved by you) to your senators and US reps on this issue. Weigh in-- it's only the citizens who are against it, and in sufficient numbers we can make a difference.

Had a request for a link to the story about the Nuns' checking account being frozen by the Patriot Act, without their knowledge. Turns out their not terrorists. As if we doubted it. Read it all here.

This is the last night for those sleezy cheesy pickup lines. The best ones will win PajamaGrams, which are an excellent Valentine's Day gift. And they come in a terrific hatbox, she'll love. Check 'em out at PajamaGram.com.

And tales of the craziest thing you've done for love may win you "Mad About You" bear. He's precious and can be seen at VermontTeddyBear.com along with over a hundred other bears guaranteed to make you a hero for the holiday. For the price of a dozen roses delivered, you can get her something she'll have forever.

And finally, go to www.NorthCountryGazette.org and keep up with June Maxam's struggle against judicial tyranny. It's more than personal for June who is facing jail time again... time she's already served and can prove it. If it can happen to her, it can happen to you. She can also use a good attorney. If you happen to be one, and are licensed in New York, great. Or if you can donate to her legal fund, that would be much appreciated. And let New York authorities, like AG Elliot Spitzer know that you're horrified that this can even be happening. But if you're wondering exactly what's happening, read all about it first at NorthCountryGazette.org. Thanks.

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 8, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) Rioting Moslems might not have a sense of humor, but you might find it laughable that one of the most incendiary of the cartoons, was actually a poorly reproduced AP photo taken at a French Pig Squealing contest. Some are wondering if a cartoon could lead to the next world war. The bigger question is why are a group of highly emotional people being manipulated, and what will the world do about it? Find out more tonight at 10.

I keep telling you to go to numbersusa.com and fairus.org --they'll do all the work if you want to fax your reps about the immigration atrocity. Recently I've received a number of emails asking if there was a way to easily find out who your representative in congress is. Do not be embarrassed-- a LOT of people don't know that. And there is a very easy way to find out. All you need to know is your full zip code (zip + 4). Then click here. And thanks for taking time to get involved.

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 7, 2006 1:15 AM (ET) So now they want a database of your animals. Let's look at a database the feds already have-- social security. You know it's insecure financially, but you may not know it's insecure with regard to your identity. The feds could stop thousands of identity theft cases if they wanted to. They know when your social security number is being used fraudulently-- and they refuse to tell you, even if you ask. And they want more databases? We better talk tonight at 10.

Speaking of databases, lots of requests for links to the NAIS stories. Plenty online too. Click here for the official USDA version, and if you can't read between the lines, click or here (nonais.org) or here (a .pdf but worth the read) or here (to sign a petition) or here (for the article I read on the air) or here (for the Free Republic story with nice links) for starters! That should keep you busy for a while.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 5, 2006 3:30 AM (ET) We're taking off later today for a trip to the country. (It's a long story-- it'll be a long ride-- and you don't want to hear any of it.) However speaking of country... that brings me to Monday night's topic.

People move out to the country, in part, for isolation from big cities. Maybe they'll have a horse for junior to ride. Sounds nice and private doesn't it? Well not if the government gets its way. The NAIS insists that every home with even one animal other than house pets, must register their location including GPS coordinates. Each animal must be trackable (RFID anyone?) and the government must be notified each time it leaves the property. So much for those trail rides. Invasive insanity tomorrow night at 10.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 4, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) The trivia questions are up online for those who qualify. If that's you, click on "She Said What" to your left and answer one of the two questions. Or if you prefer, you can guess one of the bumpers that's up for grabs (and if you're listening now, you know which ones they are as I specified each one that qualifies when I played it).

Good luck, have a swell weekend and I'll be back before Monday's show to tell you what's on tap for next week.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 3, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) Trivia tonight. Almost three hours of it. But before we get started we'll talk with Hy Lit. The Philadelphia Wibbage legend (who in addition to WIBG, was also heard on WDAS-FM and for several years until recently WOGL)-- has a website of his favorite oldies and more. Go to www.HyLit.com and check it out. He'll tell you more at 10 just ahead of lots of trivia including a couple stragglers I know you're dyin' to answer (considering how many of you tried to get your guesses in all week).

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 2, 2006 5:30 AM (ET) I promised a link on the outrage of "Made In America" -you'll see what I mean if you click here, courtesy of The New American.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 2, 2006 1:15 AM (ET) "Savings Rate Lowest Since Great Depression." "Dell To Hire 5,000 in India." "Primary Care About To Collapse, Physicians Warn." "Boston Globe Notifies Subscribers Of Inadvertent Release Of Personal Data". "Windfall Profits For Exxon Mobil" Read any newspaper and discover the real 'state of the union.' Add your favorite headlines-- illegal immigration fallout, anyone?-- tonight at 10.

Valentine's Day is only a couple weeks away. We've got a couple on-air contests underway "Sleeziest pick up line" may net you a PajamaGram (we've got 3 to give away). It can be a line you delivered or received, and tell us if it worked (and if so, how often). You can order a pajamagram yourself-- it's as easy as sendign flowers, a lot more personal and you won't have to walk through the lingerie department to show her how much you care. Call 1-800-GIVEPJS or go to www.pajamagram.com.

Or let us know the craziest thing you've ever done for love. We've got 3 "Mad About You" bears to giveaway from Vermont Teddy Bear. (They're precious-- decked out like a mad psychiatrist in a lab coat sporting a nametag "Dr. I.M. Madaboutu" --and wait til you see the glasses and wild red hair.) Vermont Teddy Bears make excellent Valentine's Day presents-- for about the same price as a dozen roses delivered, you can get her something that will last a lifetime. And if you send it to work, everyone will ooh and aah and think you're the greatest guy. Call 1-800-829-BEAR or visit www.vermontteddybear.com. (Works well for gals too-- and so do pajamagrams actually. Check 'em out!)

You've got until next Thurssday night to call in with your stories. Our panel of judge (Jon) will announce the final decision next Friday. You can call specifically to tell all, or you can interject it when commenting on whatever my latest rant happens to be. Hope to talk to you soon.

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2006 2:45 AM (ET) When you see a label that says "Made in America" what does that mean to you? Not talking about pride or patriotism-- speaking geographically here. I figured it meant the United States. But that's not necessarily the case. America includes all of our possessions-- like Saipan where Made in America means sweat shops run by members of the Chinese Communist Party powered by women lured there and treated as slave labor. Can't believe it? Tune in tonight at 10.

So you caught the State of the Union address? The word of the night was "isolationist". If you missed it, don't get excited. The "I" word was used in the context of what we don't want to be. Not only will we be likely invading more nations in the future, but the invasion of illegals will continue. Not said in those exact words, but that was the message. Traditionally these talks are little more than PR opportunities, but the message between the lines wasn't a good one if you're concerned about sovereignty-- or liberty. It's one thing to tout the Patriot Act with regard to terrorism, but it would be nice if it came with some guarantees that citizens investigated under it can't be prosecuted for crimes unrelated to terror, speaking of which, it would be nice to have a legal definition of exactly what that is.. but I digress. Interesting to see the biggest applause came from Bush's opponents when he mentioned that his reform of Social Security failed. No solace on either side of the aisles if you're focused on anything our forefathers remotely had in mind.

Christine from Colorado called in and mentioned that Gore Vidal had his own state of the union address. She's linked to it under her site, www.christinesmith.us.

JANUARY 2006

TUESDAY JANUARY 31, 2006 1:25 AM (ET) There's a rumor that in the event of national emergency, the department of homeland security has a policy that does not allow citizens to withdraw valuables from safe deposit boxes. Is it true? That's where the real terror begins. Nobody knows. The beauty of the Patriot Act is it could be true, and we wouldn't be told. Even Snopes can't debunk it for sure. What's more frightening-- the prospect of terrorism or the powers of our government? Rhetorical and other questions tonight at 10.

MONDAY JANUARY 30, 2006 1:45 AM (ET) So you've heard about VeriChip, the implantable RFID that will hold all your records. There are a few things you probably haven't heard-- like the disclaimer. So much for it being good for the unconscious. Turns out you have to be able to communicate in order to receive an MRI safely if one is in you. And by the way, you've got no recourse in case anything happens, and judging by the wording, almost anything can. And then there's the security issue-- the part about it being hackable is particularly interesting. Not so fine print, tonight at 10.

And for the requests about the change of national symbols from an eagle to a condom, click on "I Want a Copy of that" to your left.

SATURDAY JANUARY 28, 2006 2:55 AM (ET) The trivia questions for this week are up under "She Said What" to your left. Click on it to see if you qualify to play online, and I'll be back before Monday to let you know what's on tap for next week.

FRIDAY JANUARY 27,2005 2:55 AM (ET) Three big hours of trivia starting tonight at 10.

You've heard us talk about June Maxam and her work as an investigative journalist focusing on judicial misconduct. Her current site, NorthCountryGazette.Org is loaded with info that's hard to find elswhere. But when you're uncovering things that others would prefer remain under the radar, you'll make enemies. And so it is that June is again facing jail time. It's a story that's beyond unbelievable. Click here and read all about it. You'll see how ridiculous this really is. You'll also see a link to donate to June's defense fund. Please do. She needs a good lawyer and is in no position to pay for one. The ACLU is no help at this point, nor any other organization, unfortunately. And without good representation, June will have a major problem on her hands-- and there'll be no one like her to write about it.

THURSDAY JANUARY 26, 2:55 AM (ET) Democrats are quick to call Republicans irrational, and they're right.  Republicans are quick to call Democrats emotional, and they're also right .  A new study proves it.  Unfortunately for both parties, it proves there's absolutely no difference in decision making. Both sides forego even a hint of rational thinking when examining partisan issues, and both rely completely on the emotional circuits of their brain.  A scientific study on how the mind of a politician really works tonight at 10.

Are you an RVer?  If so, there's a new website you'll like.  Bob Hamilton's RVdream.com  Great driving music, RV tips, interviews and free air time for your views or ads.  Just click on the ON AIR button and enjoy a kindred radio experience.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 25, 2006 2:50 AM (ET) Three elementary schools in Freehold New Jersey will be teaching kids a lesson you don't want them to learn. In order for their parents or teachers to enter the school, they're required to have an iris scan.  A picture of their eye, compared to the data on file.  They call it safety.  I call it indoctrination.  They brag that they can automatically scan all the information on any driver's license into a database which includes everyone's movements.  Details you won't like tonight at 10.

TUESDAY JANUARY 24, 2006 6:00 AM (ET) Congress, at the behest of the record and movie industries is discussing a bill that would force digital devices-- such as computers and recorders-- to respond to protection signals, making copying impossible.  There are a few problems here-- not the least of which is that the technology to be utilized is a secret-- even from those voting on it.  What's guaranteed not to work in your favor tonight at 10.

And don't forget-- the only way your senators will feel any pressure to even consider keeping illegal immigration illegal, is with your input.  Employers love it-- cheap, compliant labor.  Businesses court it-- including home loans tailored to the needs of the, to put it politely, undocumented.  Liberal groups affirm it, it's the kind of thing that is the essence of their 'do gooder' philosophy (which does nobody any good).  So the only element speaking out against the illegal invasion, amnesty (or guest worker status which is the same thing) is YOU.

The only hope that the senate will pass a bill similar to the house version (which didn't go far enough but is a step in the right direction) is your input.  Write your senators.  If you don't have the time, or don't know who they are, or don't know what to say-- there are a couple groups that will do it for you.  numbersusa.com and fairus.org.  Click on 'em.  If you don't, Vicente Fox's administration will be right-- the US senate will not be as inclined to listen to the will of its voters as the house was.  They can't listen if you're not speaking.  Write.  Call.  And if enough of us do, it will make a difference.  Thanks.

MONDAY JANUARY 23, 2006 4:45 AM (ET) Everyone knows that business benefits from illegals-- but maybe we've been focusing on the wrong aspect.  We know some industries benefit from hiring illegals and they'll lobby congress to keep 'em coming, but that's not even half the picture-- many companies see them as potential customers-- like some banks' Mi Casa mortgages aimed at people without green cards.  How to find out who's courting them and what you can do about it tonight at 10.

We'll also look at the government subpoena-ing Google for search records.  Lots of questions there on all sides and you won't like the answers.  Oh, Yahoo, MSN and AOL complied without subpoena.  Before you laud Google, you better hear the rest of the story.  No good news anywhere.

And we can't fully dismiss the Osama warnings.  What he has in mind may not be our greatest worry.  Find out what is, at 10.  Talk to you then!

SUNDAY JANUARY 22, 2006 9:15 PM (ET) This week's trivia questions are up. Click on "She Said What" to your left if you're eligible.

FRIDAY JANUARY 20, 2006 3:20 AM (ET) Tonight at 10, Johnny Goyen! If you're from Houston, you know his voice. And if you're an R&B oldies fan, you'll love his taste in music. We'll meander down memory lane for an hour and then two hours of trivia for you. Talk to you at 10.

THURSDAY JANUARY 19, 2006 3:00 AM (ET) From the same courts that just awarded $70,000 to a black man in England who sued for being over promoted, and thus not qualified for the job he held, we bring you a verdict of 15 months jail time and a fine for a man who didn't kill the woman who hired him to do it.  What would the sentence have been if he complied? Legal lunacy tonight at 10.

This next item is beyond lunacy, it's utterly frightening.  June Maxam who spends her days uncovering judicial misconduct and reporting in northcountrygazette.org is about to be jailed again.  You can read the entire story here.  Please do.  There are some links to folks you might want to contact on her behalf, and ultimately on behalf of all of us.  If you heard last night's show you heard from several people who unwittingly became whistleblowers of sorts (one just by seeing something they shouldn't have, another who simply refused to destroy evidence).  The common thread among all these stories is the disbelief upon discovering that in their case, not only was no one (in the county, state or even federal offices) who was willing to prosecute  cases, some of which were obviously open and shut, no one willing to publicize obvious wrong doing, no one willing to defend those who became victims to the point that they lost livelihood and freedom, let alone the innocence that these things can't happen in America.  They do. All the time.  And they will continue to happen until enough people speak out when they hear of others so wronged.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 18, 2006 4:45 AM (ET) If a foreign military invaded America in heavily armed units, what would you call that? War comes to mind,  but we don't call it anything.  We simply warn border patrol agents to keep a low profile, conceal and camouflage themselves and stay quiet.  This can't be?  Then you didn't get the memo about Mexican soldiers trained to evade and counterambush American agents.  When war isn't war and invasions aren't mentioned-- tonight at 10.

TUESDAY JANUARY 17, 2006 4:45 AM (ET) A man is on trial in England for what he said in a privatemeeting. You might imagine he threatened he life of an official. You might suggest he incited terrorism. You probably are thinking it must have been something decidedly dangerous to derail free speech, and you’d be wrong. Nick Griffin said “Islam is an evil and wicked faith.” He might be wrong-- or a lot of things, but in England, he’s a criminal. Not China. Not Iran. England. If convicted he will likely go to jail. The charge? Speech to incite racial hatred. The real crime here? The death of free speech, tonight at 10.

MONDAY JANUARY 16, 2006 12:01 AM (ET) Suddenly the red and white (emphasis on red) LukOil gas stations started showing up in place of Mobil, Getty, Conoco.  Word got around that Lukoil is a Russian company.   But how many people realize that Citgo is an American company... that just happens to be owned by the government of Venezuela, to paraphrase corporate illogic.  And its control comes down to one Hugo Chavez who hates capitalism, Bush and everything America.  Meanwhile Japan announces plans to develop an oil filed in Iran.  Gas pains  tonight at 10.

Any good news?  Well NCG www.northcountrygazette.org is back up and running. June Maxam does a great job highlighting judicial impropriety and other news which absolutely does affect each of us.  Reading some of these stories you start to think that justice isn't blind, it's just embarrassed.  Or it should be.

Speakingof NCG, they've got a big story on Zachary Couture, a 9 year old with an unthinkable medical problem that will require a six to eight month hospital stay far from home for bone marrow transplants. Even then, recovery is not a given. Fortunately the procedure will be picked up by insurance and it's been approved by the state (thank god this isn't a story about parents fighting the state over treatment options). Even so, there will be a lot of unreimbursed expenses. Click here to find out more. Thanks

SUNDAY JANUARY 15, 2006 9:00 PM (ET) The email questions are up for those who qualify. Click on "She Said What" to your left. Don't forget you can also guess on a bumper you heard that wasn't identified. Click on "Who Did That Record" to see which bumpers qualify. (Of course if you're not listening to the show, then you'd have to be Ms. Cleo to guess on the bumpers but the purpose of online trivia is to give those listeners who only hear replays of the show, a chance to participate.) Hello KGA, which hears trivia on Monday mornings. I'll be back in a little while to tell you what's on tap for Monday night. Hope you're having a fine weekend.

FRIDAY JANUARY 13, 2006 1:20 AM (ET) It's Friday the 13th and who better to spend it with than THE TRUCKIN' BOZO! Dale Sommers joins me tonight at 10. We'll play trivia after that. In the meantime check out his website, thebozo.com! And don't miss his show on XM Channel 171 4-7 PM! you probably think you know all about him, but I bet we'll learn something new! We'll follow that with a couple hours of trivia. Talk to you tonight.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11, 2006 2:10 AM (ET) How far should an airline go to get a new route?  Take British Midland International which on flights to Saudi Arabia has banned crucifixes, bibles and cuddly toys.  And the female flight attendants, covered head to foot, must walk two paces behind male colleagues. Some passengers might not be offended but the Christian crew has to wonder why their employer has no concern over offending them.  Fasten your seatbelts for our descent into insanity tonight at 10.

TUESDAY JANUARY 10, 2006 3:45 AM (ET) "That is not a stolen Identity, I paid $100 for it."  It sounds like the punchline of a bad joke but it's an actual answer police in Minnesota heard from in illegal immigrant, in an area where fake IDs have a higher street value than methamphetamine. So where's the DEA equivalent in immigration? Missing in action which is just as well when you look at the new head of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.  Clearly no experience was necessary. And those she's hiring-- the ones she promised would have the experience she didn't... well you be the judge tonight at 10.

Last night we again talked about the bill Bush signed last Thursday which includes a two year jail term for people who post anything through the internet without using their full name (online or in email) that annoys somebody else. That's right, annoys. We'll revisit that again tonight in case you missed it. We won't try to define 'annoys'. The show's not that long.

MONDAY JANUARY 9, 2006 1:55 AM (ET) Last year banks lost $19 billion in fraud.  Customers lost untold hours in trying to straighten out identity theft.  So what are banks doing this year?  Moving more back office business to India where controlling this kind of theft is harder.  It would be easier to find a record of your neighbor's cell phone calls than understand that logic-- speaking of which, you can find anyone's cell phone number and a log of calls without any trouble, online.  Let's review-- your bank records are off shore and your cell phone records are online. You don't think you have identity theft problems? You'd better listen tonight at 10.

Art who listens to the show regularly has gotten so into our Fix America contest that he's started a website. (We have too, but we've been too lazy to get it online so far. We will eventually.) In the meantime, why not check out Art's site? It's www.fixingamerica.net. Click on it! Now if we can get everyone to at least write letters (snail mail letters) to their representatives regularly, we'd start to see some changes. When four of us do it, we're kooks, when 400 do it, we're a nuisance, but if 400,000 wrote a rep to voice their dissatisfaction over our open border, for instance, we'd see change. The price of liberty is YOUR involvement. Far too many of us are waiting for a sale.

SATURDAY JANUARY 7, 2006 1:55 AM (ET) The email questions are up. Click on "She Said What" to your left to see if you're eligible. If you're a fan of our music, don't forget a great website: rockitradio.net! Click on it. In addition to Lane Quigley's "Memory Lane Show", you'll hear Steve Propes, Ted Quillen and all sorts of wonderful obscure R&B.

A few more passings to note, unfortunately. Barry Cowsill's body was discovered in New Orleans last week. If there ever were a soap opera, it's the story of the Cowsill family. Name an emotion. It's in there. Also sad but expected to note Lou Rawls passing, and finally at 80 Skipper Chuck's no longer with us. Kids who grew up in Miami in the '50s and '60s will remember him as a kiddie show host on WTVJ-TV4. More recently, he was the spokesman for Century Village in West Palm Beach, taking over from Red Buttons. Lots of great stories in Chuck-- I still think it would make a great documentary to unearth all these early tv kids show hosts. Every market had them and they ranged from the sedate and proper to the insane and anything but (the latter were always my favorite). Talk about every emotional element! And on that note, I'll slink away laughing and be back to type to you before Monday's show. Have a standout weekend.

FRIDAY JANUARY 6, 2006 9:55 PM (ET) It's official KEITH at 10! Really looking forward to this. In the meantime, check out Keith's official site keith986.com!

FRIDAY JANUARY 6, 2006 2:55 AM (ET) We might or might not talk to Keith tonight. You'll remember him as a 'one hit wonder' but he's a lot more (in fact his 'one hit' '98.6' isn't even the best of his work, in my opinion). We'll talk about his career and the record biz back in the day and you'll be surprised what he's doing now! After that (or immediately, if he doesn't join us), we'll play trivia. I'm ready-- and hopefully so are you. Talk to you at 10.

On a very somber note, my deepest condolences to Art Bell on the loss of his wife Ramona, who passed away in her sleep last night while the couple was vacationing in Laughlin, Nevada. If ever a relationship was meant to be, it was Art and Romana's. They marriend in 1990 and were truly inseparable. Her passing was totally unexpected and I can only imagine how devastated Art must feel. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, as I will.

THURSDAY JANUARY 5, 2006 4:50 AM (ET) Have a cold?   Before you buy cold medicine in Washington state you'd better understand the new law.  Actually, it's many pharmacies who should understand it better-- and they don't.  Ah yes, the war on drugs has claimed another privacy right-- your right to buy over the counter cold medicine without being in a database.  No rights here-- but plenty of wrongs, including all sorts of lapses in protecting the privacy of purchasers. Details tonight at 10.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 4, 2006 3:05 AM (ET) I'm having a logic disconnect here-- half of the American voters polled don't trust the government.  In fact most of them think corruption among politicians will be a huge election issue.  So why is that these same people are clamoring for MORE government programs. Wouldn't you think they'd be more inclined to cut a few out.  We'll talk about it, but let me warn you that another question in the poll may hold the answer-- and you won't like it.  Details tonight at 10.

TUESDAY JANUARY 3, 2006 2:55 AM (ET) Everybody's talking about predictions for 2006, but let's look back a moment.  What's the most surprising news event of 2005?  Vicente Fox telling us we dare not protect or borders?  Congressing passing a mental health law that ultimately will force you to be tested and maybe drugged-- wait, no one's really talking about that, they're too busy with Natalie Holloway's disappearance.  Maybe that's the surprise, what we're not hearing. We'll hear about it tonight at 10.

MONDAY JANUARY 2, 2006 Thanks for a wonderful 2005. As grateful as many of you have said you are to have me on your radio, I'm equally grateful to have you listening. And if you want to hear me and can not do it locally, there are a couple of choices. One is XM Satellite Radio. I'm on Channel 165 nightly from 10P-1A ET. Another is an online stream. When we get to new year's resolutions later in the week, I'll admit that mine is to upgrade my stream. You can give it a try-- but more to the point you can listen to one of the stations that streams me, WVHU or KRLD,for instance. Just click on LISTEN NOW to your left and read all about it.
